10 Audacious Job Offers I Turned Down

- I decided to make a list of the 10 most audacious, inappropriate, fraudulent job offers I've received in my 18 years as a model. And honestly, telling you about them entertained me vastly. I hope that you'll be similarly entertained! As always, if you're a model I hope my video might help you be vigilant when deciding whether or not to take a job so as to avoid ridiculous, unpleasant, and sometimes dangerous potential photoshoots.

OMG, sister....we have led parallel lives! I felt like I was listening to somebody reading my own blog posts from the early 2010s!...only I was actually dumb enough to fall for #7 😆😩🤯 It's amazing how similar the life of a freelance model in London is to the life of a freelance model in Las Vegas! I feel your pain, and salute your sense of humor -- and your excellent storytelling abilities!! I have often thought of telling similar stories on my own TH-cam channel, but I'm afraid of getting demonetized....so for now, all my stories languish on my blog. But I'll be watching more of yours, and laughing my ass off in solidarity ✊

Every day is a school day, and with every video of yours that you release I learn the most astounding things about what sometimes happens on the fringes of the industry. It's easy to look back at some of these instances in hindsight, especially those earlier on in your career, and maybe think that you could've known sooner, but given your age at the time, how new to the industry you were and your experiences of being an actress it makes perfect sense how you'd both think and hope that they were legitimate and give them the time that you did. Through watching your videos and hearing you talk about your experiences, I have noticed a trend of there being 'photographers' trying to hire models to do things that both the models don't do, and where the 'photographers' goal is nothing to do with doing a professional photoshoot. I'm trying to rattle my brain to identify why that is, why they don't just, firstly: be straightforward with what it is they're after and, secondly: hire someone appropriate for what it is they're after! Models are very clear about what it is their job is and what it is they're both comfortable and not comfortable shooting, and wilfully ignoring that information and the personal and professional boundaries of models is both astonishingly disrespectful, unprofessional and unscrupulous. The same goes for faux producers trying to get women to strangle them for their clear asphyxiation or domination fetish (which is obviously totally fine to have; simply hire a pro-domme), fancy-schmancy (perhaps faux) artistic expressionists wanting to watch or photograph women have orgasms (I very much enjoy watching that myself, but porn exists, mate; watch it), or people trying to hire you as a pro-sub so you can satisfy them and all their friends, on a weekly basis, in Chichester. The shooting with tigers and hanging off a tree over the edge of a cliff malarkey? What can I even say about that? The Health and Safety protocols within the modelling industry is something that has often intrigued me. While some models, producers and photographers are totally on the ball (e.g. Hywel and yourself), I do wonder how seriously some models take their own safety and how seriously producers and photographers take the safety of their models. Each party should have a duty of care both toward themselves AND toward their colleagues, and willingly and blissfully asking them to shoot with tigers or hang over the edge of a cliff just boggles the mind. Professional stunt performers get seriously injured and even killed doing things like that, and that's WITH safety procedures and protocols in place, when they're trained professionals and when it's their job! Anyway, would I like to come and satisfy you and your friends? In Wales? Hold on, I thought it was in Chichester? Wow....wtf re tigers...then hanging over a cliff!...that is just outrageously irresponsible. I've only had 2 iffy instances, first was many years ago when scouting out a location for an art nude shoot with well known model (IF)...it was an abandoned airstrip with interesting locations, the owner came along and seemed overly enthusiastic about a shoot in his property, the more he talked about it the more uneasy I became. In the end I changed location as alarm bells wearing ringing quite loudly in my head, I always listen to that hunch. The second time was fairly recently with a local bloke who wanted to model.....however I suspected that it was a set up to meet me so that he and his mates could rob me of my camera equipment. Then there are the usual requests from random men asking if they could come on a shoot to 'watch and learn'.....that old chestnut! It's certainly an interesting pursuit, always something new on the go. Anyway, great vid as ever .
Well known model IF ? Not a lovely petite redheaded person by any chance? If so she's the first model I ever shot with and an absolute joy to work with.

The only "private collector" images i've shot have been for couples, mostly where the wife wants some nice photos for her husband. There is a model safety resources group on facebook where people post about dodgy offers & people to watch out for.

You could also have done well in mainstream media such as movies or television and not had to expose yourself to danger with all the sickos out there in the porn industry.
LOL, you're right. I could have worked for Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey instead, and NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY HAVE GONE WRONG. (I was a mainstream actress before I started working in porn, and I can assure you, sexual harassment was, sadly, rife.)
