The ants putting dirt on the slug shows a level of problem-solving skills that I would NEVER have expected from them!!! This had to come from a single ant getting an idea to use something to soak up that slime, and either knew dirt was good for the job, or experimented until they found the right material. That, or some saw the benefit of it having happened by accident, understood what had happened well enough to want to employ that method again (which also shows planning ahead), and reproduced the conditions. Either way, that is some kind of impressive behavior for such a small-brained creature. So wild... wow!

They have camera ants. And very nimble easy bendy sticks that they put the small ant cameras on the end of the sticks and jus put them down the spare exit holes. Easy access to the main halls of the ant nest

Those first eggs (in the first video) become "nanitics", and they're smaller and shorter-lived than the future generations. But they're the ones raised by the queen, who turns the muscle tissue from where her wings were attached into a sort of soup for the larvae. She won't eat anything until the nanitics can fetch food themselves. The channel's owner is so dedicated to ants that he's having a house built with a two-storey "ant room" in it! If you like ants, I thoroughly recommend you go watch him.

I once encountered an ant war between larger brown ants and smaller brown ants, it’s so brutal as the smaller ants fought courageously to fend off the invaders, but to no avail. They were rooted out from their nest and dismembered, with heads and limbs littering the ground around the nest. It’s sad to watch but that’s nature. Another thing is spiders waylaying underneath pebbles along the ant path; the spiders would dash out and rapidly tie the victim ant up with silk into a bundle…

@@King_Minos64 yeah I looked it up and it seems that queens need alot of proteins and when that is scarse, ants eliminate the queen is weaker and can not produce eggs like the other. On rare cases workers go all they way and kill the last queen, dont know why exactly. Workers survive a bit more and then they also die without a queen.

Every time the ant walking in the opposite direction came into contact with another and in the row, it would stop for half a second, make contact with each others faces, then move onto the next ant and do the same thing.
