I am European so I use metric but if I want to make any recipe I visit ur website for written version of the recipe so for me it doesnt matter which one (US or metric) you use in the video as long as there is calculator on the site.
I am US and never have not used metric for cooking. It's so much more simple. But I wouldn't change it. It makes people go to your website and that's probably the reason you have it on there haha. I would of never went probably without it
I had googled “protein bread machine recipes” wondering if there was any. Google set me to your banana bread recipe video that looks like it was posted 10 years ago. I then came to this video. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻You have improved so much. Congratulations! I am currently in a Think Media TH-cam challenge class and stumbling upon these 2 videos was an inspiration for me to keep going. I am only about 6 weeks in and the difference in your videos makes me want to keep going instead of throwing in the towel. And I'm seeing some great protein recipes to try! That is what I was really looking for, but got the TH-cam inspiration along the way! Thank you!
Love you and your Channel congrats on the 400 followers. I know you can easily get to 1 million. For measurements Im good either way. But I like you convert on your page!
Definitely metric for cooking; also weight is more accurate than volume when baking/cooking so grams are way better than teaspoons or cups for consistency. 👍
Even though I too am a US citizen and was raised with "cups and ounces", if I don't know a metric measurment I google 'what is 50 grams into ounces/cups, whatever. There are sites that you can input that information and it will tell you what that measuremtent is from grams to whatever. Same with inches into centimeters, millimeters, ect...
While I'm "bilingual", I prefer metric for baking. Baking is precise, and grams are more precise. If it's not a baking recipe I think I would default to imperial.
The US is the only country that uses metric anymore. Nobody knows why it didn't switch. Probably because it would cost too much money for some reason? Nobody uses ounces anymore either
I would say metric, because that opens your audience to the entire world vs just America. But if you currently have like 90% American audience then it makes sense if you dont bother saying metric.
You can find metric conversions for every recipe/ingredient on the website which is always linked below in the description of every recipe. Hope this helps!
US measurements I think. You (and likely the majority of your audience) are in the USA. Having the metric measurements would cause everyone to have to do their own conversions which is likely going to hurt your channel if people stop watching due to the hassle of the measurements. While I’m fine with either one (I work in healthcare and use metric all the time) you’d be assuming all your US audience has a scale that also does grams, kilograms, etc. my guess is 978

Metric is what I'm typically used to for all cooking things since accuracy rrally matters.
Looks good, will try it out, thanks
Oh my! I'm SO GLAD you're back on consistently uploading again! Much support from Denmark!

I can live with metric as long as you show both in your recipe. Congratulations on 400K❤❤❤❤😊

Is there a substitute for avocado?
Team Metric assemble!

Metric
That's a new twist on brownies with the avocado.
These are soooo good!!!
metric please. thanks for the recipe!!
Grams all day!
I prefer cups, teaspoons, ounces because I have lived in the USA all my life.
New subscriber here! Please include imperial method!
I’m team “cups” cuz I’m a simple American. 😮
New subbie.
What would happen if I added Egg whites to the recipe?
Is there something i can sub the avacado for?
It’s bigger fat so any nut butter or coconut oil I would assume
@itismeyourlookingfor4790 Good call maybe I'll try coconut oil, not a fan of avocado
Avocados vary in size. How many grams?
200g - For future reference all of the metric conversions are listed on the website. Hope this helps!
Metric pls!!!!😊
Canned pumpkin is not something we get in most supermarkets in the UK, I'm guessing mashed sweet potato would give a similar effect?
Try Sainsbury's if you've got one near you, my local one has an American Food section that sells it 👍
you could cook an actual pumpkin.
@@MephistoRollingtrue, but they are only really available at this time of year, and being honest, too much work just for brownies 🤷🏼
metric for sure, much more accurate than cups and tbs.
925 grams I think.

90% of the world uses metric....i seriously don't know why US doesn't
Lemme know when 90% of the world has been to the moon.
@@AnAlbanyExpression i'm sure armstrong's first words were: give me 1 teaspoon of avocado, so i can make some brownies.
@AnAlbanyExpression you people always say this as if the calculations used to land on the moon weren't precisely done using the metric system
@@AnAlbanyExpressionNASA engineers used and use until today the metric-system. So we can say, tell me when the non-metric system was on the moon ;)
@@rjkane2146 the onboard flight computer for Apollo absolutely used SI. Even the metric society acknowledges this.
US
I’m not from the US, so I say grams.
But not being from the US also means I can’t get canned pumpkin…
This channel KICKS ASS!!!! 👍
Metric that way I can use a scale, more accurate & less dishes😊

I prefer U.S. measurements in videos.
