Unfortunately even if I wanted this sound system I don’t want to get everything that’s in the Lux bundle so I will probably take my chances with aftermarket.
I think the Bronco B&O system is pretty damn good for the type of vehicle it is. Not sure what the complaints are about. Once you set the balance to the rear a bit, adjust the EQ and turn on surround, it sounds much better.
Replace the cheap ass Vietnamese speakers with anything more advanced than a paper cup and a taunt string, and you will understand what all the complaints are about. The difference is that extreme between the speakers supplied and even low end aftermarket speakers. I didn't replace the sub-woofer. It's not necessary to even spend a ton of money on the speakers, as the factory speakers are that bad.
I've heard it's not amazing but gets much better when you turn surround on. I can say the Sony in my 2016 Superduty was pretty dang good but the B&O in the newest Superduty is awesome. They design each individual vehicle system. The Bronco certainly has more impediments to good sound than a standard truck cabin.
It's terrible, they messed up the sound in this truck. I'm opting for an upgrade which will cost 3-4k. It would have been better if they just did it right or charged for an upgrade.
@@TheVancouverJatt I’ve put in ~$4k in parts, ignoring labor costs, to make the right sound in my B&O equipped ‘22 Bronco. The B&O system is meh. Popping in speakers and a sub without DSP sounds meh with sparkle. Went with 7 Focal speakers and a 12” JL sub. Left the factory 8” to play 80-150hz (they rattle at 45-65hz). Setting up DSP sucks because B&O made the decision to run the B&O amp to only 4 of the 7 speakers (technically 5 of 8 if you count the stock sub). So the head unit drives the front center and two rear speakers. Why god, why… We have to install a modified harness under the head unit and run the three speaker wires back to the DSP because of this. Gods speed my bronco brother. One of the tradeoffs of car system installs is always soundproofing vs weight; more soundproofing will improve response and clarity, but adds weight to the car. I've ordered a Bronco with the B&O system, but wonder if it's still worth looking into adding sound proofing or batting behind speakers to improve the sound, or is the system as purchased optimized for the hardware that's included?
I have a workmate that purchased a Badlands with B&O system. Literally one of the worst “upgraded” systems that I have heard in a car, struck or SUV! I've seen several reviews where people have said the B&O system in the Bronco is mediocre at best and some that said it sucks. These reviews are worthless to me because all I can ascertain from such brevity is that the person doesn't like it or thinks it's mediocre for some unexplained reason. When somebody puts so little effort into explaining why they have the opinion they do I wonder if they even have the requisite knowledge of sound systems to offer a useful opinion. I would expect if they did they would offer a much more detailed review that might have some value to the reader.

@@brada1997 yes, because it was no better than an average stock system in most other cars. The speakers in the B&O are anything but premium. I don't want to stack amps and preamps along the firewall inside or out. One idea I had is to place woofers in the 6.75 in the kick panels since they just don't seem to throw any bass, but I would need to amp those to work and seal the camber well, correct? Any ideas, suggestions? Could I get a similar setup to tuck in the stock B&O sub and amp combo deal in the factory back left panel? Of course, that ear panel from Ford is prob costly if you can even get it. Folks on Bronco Nation are prob tired of hearing me complain, but I am calling on audio folks to chime in with any and ideas. I know it may seem foolish, but I even ordered a set of 4" woofers to try out figuring what the hell is there to lose at this point? Why you cappin
I have this system and it is NOT with the price paid. The sound is better than base version sound, but it is not even near great. This is the worst system I have ever had on a vehicle just sitting there without the road noise. I’m so disappointed and have nothing good to say. Planning on going after market upgrades following some bronco6g posts. Again, not worth the Lux package. Save money and invest in after market.
This is the worst premium audio upgrade I have ever heard. It’s complete junk. Ford should be ashamed.
Años there is not a lot of customization on sound at all. It’s like a child menu of limited options. It’s pathetic. The guy in here said “cranks the base” and there is no cranking anything. It is like an old radio without many options. The more I use the sound system the lower my score goes for rating. I might have given it a 4/10 when comparing to base sound system, however when I think of the price I paid for Lux, I’m down to 2/10 for this fluffed up emptynsound.
Very mediocre. My 2023 has the B&O system and I would really have a hard time saying its any better than my sons NON B&O with the factory subwoofer.
The B&O system was a major letdown, what a scam.
The B&O system was Garbage. I replace every speaker and sub with Audison
It sucks
