It's also omitted that the saudi proposal to replace the president saleh by his corrupt vice president was a saudi attempt to thwart the 2011 "revolution". the guy was supposed to be an intermittent president for 2 years in which there was a national dialogue to establish the new constitution etc, and the saudis helped prolong his reign for another year in which gas prices were raised and that was one of the drives for the houthi takeover. it's also been omitted that while the saudi war against yemen started in 2015, their puppet president of yemen has been living in saudi arabia only appearing to read whatever the saudis agree or promote him to say and using him to legitimise their war against yemen. there's so much more omissions that his feels like it was also sponsored by the gulf stats including the saudis.

I had my first model united nations back when i was 12, and i remember getting Yemen for my delegacy. I was a kid, and researching for the event, i made a 30-40 page doc, encapsulating the complete takover of the houthis in the region, the refugwe crisis with saudi arabia not accepting yemenese refugees, and it being another Syria like situation. It was my first such experience with international affairs and i was left astounded as to how a country suffering through so much, can have negligible media presence given their plight. I felt weird how something so big was happening and no one genuinely gave a damn, and i wouldn't have known this either, if i hadnt specifically gone looking for it. I have had a few experience with these model united nations, later preferring to chose less promiment countries, simply so i could know the world outside the far west, and far east. many years later, nothing has changed, and i hope this channel can also increase the searching aptitude of the new generation, and informing them about the world's ignored places

It is clearly declared by Anshrala (houtis for western media) that this is a blockad in protest against WC in Gaza
This is not a thread to global economy. They document all their targets and have video proof. too.
The US UK and co are super quick to fight against a war torn poorest country in the world when they dare to interfere on commerce, but they do nothing when gaza is burning in flames because of an ally doing ethinic cleansing.

Are you serious??? the core problem in the Middle East is the American supports of dictators with advanced weapons in exchange of American influence in the region.

More than half the weapons there are American sponsored, you have to be daft to believe that, you have no interest in this war.
No war is fought on earth except that US has a direct/indirect interest in it.

There are two main branches of Islam. The sunni Islam is practiced by countries like Saudi Arabia and most Islamic countries while the Shia Islam is practised by Iran and Iraq. Both branches are always in conflict with each other. In the case of Yemen, each branch wants dominance in the country

Bro you missed the part at the beginning when he said the group radicalised itself and adopted its slogan after the usa sent troupes to yemen.
Bring usa troupes home, wherever the f they are, the southern border needs them.

The editing in this is amazingly done, and you are a great storyteller :) New Sub to the channel. You have a great way of graphicly explaning war and battles so if you ever miss something to do, you could always explain other modern situations :D

There's a difference between selling weapons to Saudi Arabia and actually having to send American troops to fight directly. One is insanely profitable and has no political cost, the other is extremely politically costly. If Biden decided to send troops in person to Yemen to put down the Houthis, he would lose the election. So, the politicians in the government care nothing for Yemeni lives, but they DO care quite a lot about winning elections, and the American public would be extremely unhappy with another unprovoked venture into the mess that is the Middle East.
