I'm fully convinced there's a demon in Ubisofts basement holding Rayman, all the good 6Siege + For Honor updates and all the creative talent hostage until Ubisoft raises enough money to buy them all back

I love this decision. People that support R6S laughed at OG's for saying the new hero shooter route sucked, and told us to "just adapt". Now they understand a quarter of our irritation on the path of Tom Clancy games, specifically rainbow six and the cancelation of Patriots. They get what they paid for.

If you're going to get into live service games then prepare to be scammed. It's literally what the design is there for
you're talking about a game that got a graphics and gameplay downgrade within the first days of release compared to the beta, and people still ate it up.

the problem with siege trying to expand its playerbase rn is that the console version is completly over run with cheaters that are using xims and strike packs ,and there shitty anticheat mousetrap isnt doing shit,but on top of that i doubt the ubi is even doing shit to them when it dose catch someone
Ubisoft at this point is basically a game pass but every game is its own subscription
As a R6 player im glad more of you from outside are speaking up to this cuz the R6 community is one of Ubisoft's neglected communities to the point where a lot of the community dont even speak up anymore, we just watch them destroy our once favorite game

I don't have faith in nor trust anyone, it's not that I have anything against people, I've just learned throughout my life that you can't rely on anyone but yourself. It comes with the benefit of not being surprised and expecting a company to do something bad, but it also might be the reason why I'm still single.

Siege is one of those games I know I would enjoy, but I cannot stand behind its monetization model. Same goes for Paradox Interactive games, The Sims 4 and other DLC simulators. I want to play at my own pace, switch between games I currently play and not be forced to play one game to make the most out battlepass I purchased or a membershit.

I really hope this isn't in xdefiants future the game is genuinely fantastic and I don't want it to go down a route where I don't want to play it anymore. Big CoD fanboy here who's bought every game since finest hour on the ps2! And I'm on record with friends saying if this is still great come when BO6 is out...I'm not getting BO6, xdefiant has the potential to break the cycle for me
This is why it blows my mind that you have consumers who actively root against things like Game Pass, when everything else in the would is making things so much more expensive....
For $10 a month you can get access to some Rainbow 6 Seige content, or with that same $10 you could get access to hundreds of full games including many brand new releases...
Sorry, I'm sick of this industry constantly getting more & more expensive and trying to squeeze every penny from you, so forgive me if I take advantage of the little relief available to still enjoy this hobby.

I stopped playing R6 when they introduced the battle pass. Battle passes and subscriptions are an instant turn off for me in games.

I put Siege next to Destiny 2 for the unfortunate best longer running triple A live service games. Which sucks because they're both SO money hungry.
Destiny was always trash though. Plays like a game that came out in 2005.

@@5hane9ro it literally plays no different that halo. All you can literally do is bunny hop to dodge. No peaking or leaning around corners or cover, no actual melee (still singular canned animation strike).... And on top of that they literally started taking content away that you've paid for

Those aren't player abilities in classic Halo. Also in what way would a tactical ability like leaning around corners be needed in an arcade magic based looters shooter? This

So while you're not wrong that call of duty isn't in a decline, call of duty most definitely does NOT make billions "every year". It usually makes between 200 and 450 million with each game. Still a lot. Still billions over a few years. But not billions every year.
