Paul Harvey was a class act and a great newsman/commentator. We always looked forward to his noon report on the farm and “the rest of the story” at the end of the work day. We just don’t have newsmen that command respect like he did.
In the 80's I worked on a farm and we did cows, and grew and harvested pee's and wheat. At lunchtime we would always listen to Paul harvey whether we were at the shop or out in the field. Hard work but good times.
It really makes my day to watch you two workin together on all these will it start ...loved looney tunes as a kid ....still love to watch'em at 55.....that does look like and old Davey tree bucket truck ...
Now I know why I love those Cummins engines. I actually picked up an LN8000 Ford with an 8.3 Cummins power plant. Sitting dead in the road and the guys told me you can get that truck around. We'll give it to you. Did the same thing jump to the solenoid fired up. Drove it on home 20 minutes and a few dollars worth of junk wire. Amazing what I got now. The guys wish they wouldn't have told me I could have it for free.
Coyote and roadrunner was my favorite loony toons. I'm 40 years old and still watch loony toons on TH-cam. You can't find that kind of cartoons anymore.
I think the reason why that sticker is in the upper right hand corner of the wind shield is that, those three guys that were riding in that truck ate a lot of Mexican food..LoL..Ha Ha Ha
6BTA, see the aluminum tube staring you in the face when jumping the injector pump? That is the outlet for the aftercooler. The injector pump fuse or relay is probably faulty. One more thing on Cummins 6bt engines is the air intake heater. It is located between the air intake tube and manifold. A square plastic device with an electric wire attached. If it has one, do not use ether to start, as it may ignite the ether in the intake and cause an explosion.
I am surprised you didn't check for a blown fuse. It's probably a bad relay shut off switch for the fuel pump. Excellent job bypassing and hot wiring the fuel pump.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. You guys did a great job on this one. Running again. Great job. Thanks The Iowa Farm Boy.
Ask Wiley if he remembers Lynard Skynard....lol. 🎵Sweet Home Alabama🎵 and Molly Hatchett, they did a song about Florida called "Gator Country" .....lol! Village People also did "Macho Man" 🎵Macho, Macho Man!🎵 😆😆😆😆 I liked Pepe LePew and Bugs Bunny..😄 and of course, Elmer Fudd😆😆 Ya'll crack me up!!! Keep up the great work guys!! 👍 Awesome work getting the truck running! I really enjoy the videos!
Hello y'all. I'm such a fan of You,and Wally. Y'all are two of the funniest people I've ever seen. watching y'alls videos is a real blessing. I always look forward to seeing you both, and even more so seeing the interesting, and sometimes strange things y'all get your selves into. God bless you both. when I'm not having to good of a day I just go to TH-cam to watch y'all, and I see y'all doing what you do best, and it just brighten up my day. Thank you both, and the folks at Hamiltonville Farm for everything y'all do. God bless y'all always, and forever Amen 🙏 👍😎👍
I have a 1997 GMC 10 wheeler Lineman's Bucket Truck, with a '55ft Lift-All Boom. Had a small leak in one of the smaller lines that went to the controls on the Bucket. Used a line coupler to cure that. Sorta like a shark bite. Lol, I like your (Closer to the Sun Theory but those lines are moving alot and rub alot against the boom or any anywhere they can.
yall should have edited in the chorus to Free Fallin oved Wiley falling! glad he's ok though! keep up the hard work Hank and Wiley! always look forward to yalls videos, LOL at the no farting sticker
Hank, you once tore down a old green house, and I’m thinking you took it back to your property. Too installed for the wife too have for her to grow flowers. I may be wrong but I’m thinking that’s what you guys were going to do. Would like a video if you could.
When you turn the key on and that is the grit heater going 10 seconds. That is definitely a 5.9. My buddy got a 99 f800 cummins diesel rollback flatbed.
I ran one of these in the 70's, about 1979. That company is pronounced ass-plund..lol.I worked for them as a B trimmer and bucket man. I did not run the ground controls, just from the bucket. The tool was most likely a snipper wand. It was like a pole snip that was hydraulic. It had a hook on it and you hit the trigger to nip the branch and pop it towards the ground man to drag to the chipper. We did trimming on power lines and they had a contract for something like a 10' radius around the lines clear of branches.

Paul Harvey was a class act and a great newsman/commentator. We always looked forward to his noon report on the farm and “the rest of the story” at the end of the work day. We just don’t have newsmen that command respect like he did.
That’s true
Absolutely. Paul Harvey reported the truth; just the facts. No more, no less. Better yet, he made sense.
Yep
aging myself here. but ya. i loved loony tunes. you can still watch a bunch of them on youtube. hahaha
The hum you're hearing when you turn the key on is the pump for the hydraulic brakes
Good to see you Fella’s

Bugs Bunny tricking Yosemite Sam was my favorite, Bugs tricked Sam to high dive into a glass of water is hilarious!
I can't believe that Wiley didn't put it in gear and see if it would move. He always drives everything. Thanks for the video I really enjoyed it.

The noise you are hearing is the hydro boost when you turn the key. I believe.
Ya, “You hear me boy, I say ya do’in it all wrong boy” my favorite too!!
Really enjoy your channel. Your good language too.
That indeed is a no farting sign Hank! LOL
Hey Guys , That' Cummins 5 .9 is still Humming. Great Job & God Bless You Guys.
The tool lever is for hydraulic pressure at the bucket for saws and stuff. They use hydraulic saws and cutters that they hook into at the bucket
I was pretty much born and raised on a boom truck
Good to see Wiley no worse the wear from the last video!
Forever a roadrunner and Wylie coyote fan. Beep Beep!!
Coyote and roadrunner was my favorite loony toons. I'm 40 years old and still watch loony toons on TH-cam. You can't find that kind of cartoons anymore.

Enjoyed this video Hank and Wiley. Always have a fun time watching the Dynamic Duo at work. Merry Christmas to you both.
I liked Wile E Coyote. I wish I had the knowledge of vehicles like ya'll.
That noise when you turn the key is the power system for the hydraulic brakes. Common in 80s-90s heavy trucks.
You know I'm a true man you know I've been on them and I ain't going to blow your spot up bless you daughter and the family have a wonderful holidays
