I have a OnePlus 11 & enjoy the OxygenOS experience so far. I was looking to pick this up mostly for productivity (planning content, managing work calendar, occasional photo editing on Lightroom) & entertainment. With the discounts they offer now you're able to get the Pad, Pen, & keyboard for around $475-490. I feel like it definitely does have it's shortcomings but at this price it definitely suits my needs!
I have it and it has been amazing, i used a student discount with my College email and got it with the case for $424. It has amazing battery life which charges really quick. The screen is really neat to and paired with those speaker is great for movies. Productivity wise I've found it to really good to! I say that for it's price it exceeded my expectations by a lot.

I like it overall. But I do wish the scrolling smoothness wasn't capped on apps like TH-cam, and even in regular Google scrolling. Otherwise, it's quick, if not the smoothest I've seen, and it's cheaper than an iPad, or even the top of the line Samsung tablets. Colors are vibrant, and it's a joy to hold in the hand. I don't use the tablet on the go, so the power doesn't affect me. I always charge it after a few lazy hours in bed when reading news and surfing Twitter. The app switching taskbar must have updated, because there is one at the bottom, but I don't even use it. Otherwise, a decent tablet. I'll probably get the keyboard cover down the line if I can find it used. I'm doing this for $38 a month for a year. Not bank breaking. I've wasted more money on other devices to be fair.
The 7:5 ratio is completely logical if your primary interest is documents - at 1.4:1 it's very close to the A4 ratio of 1.41:1 (or sqrt(2):1), which makes it more Euro-friendly than the more letter-sized iPad. It's also not the first tablet to use that ratio, I'm pretty sure an old Google tablet had a 1.41:1 ratio (less than 1% different).
I have a oneplus 10 pro and the upcoming software update is supposed to include the data share, I think that would be the largest draw since no other manufacturer has that..and yes I know mobile Hotspot but that's an extra step and an extra cost.. I already have an iPad and iPhone, I also have a galaxy tab but I am interested in new tech, I will probably buy 1 just in hopes that sales are high enough for them to make another generation

One + seems to have fallen away from how they began and are, in my opinion, attempting to remain relevant. They have the ability to take on the giants but need to stop and breathe in for a minute. Personally I think Samsung nailed it with the Tab S8 Ultra and Plus. That should have been the bar for all others attempting to take on android tablets. Love the channel. Truly enjoy the format. It’s almost like a conversation is being had with your cadence I can digest the information and form a thought and then you touch almost exactly on that thought in your next point. Fantastic.

Apples mismatched hardware between the iPads and lack of HDR in the cheaper models made me 100% avoid iPad. Plus iOS is just way too restrictive compared to android and Samsung is slowly but surely becoming Apple Diet/Lite. Here's hoping OxygenOS 14 fixes some key issues as I just ordered my Oneplus Pad

I think people overlook that it is very good if you have a oneplus phone. Not just data share, but files, screencast, etc make it seamless. Plus for $410 for the entire set isnt a bad deal either and for that price, I think it justifies getting it. Just keep a look out for promos such as a free keyboard or Stylo.
The reason I would get any tablet is to run raspberry pi on it with ssh (Not use it's operating system that always achieves nothing but drawing, writing, and accounting) + maybe to kill time.

I love the 21:9 aspect ratio on my sony xperia 1 iv phone. I just need a 4k 120 hz display with 5g support and unlocked so I can have unlimited data on the tablet. I used to have the sony z2 tablet from verizon and used it on tmobile with unlimited data but it only had 16gb of storage with micro usb. I really like the sony z2 tablet, I really like the walkman and video media apps on the sony tablet and phones. I use the tablet like my phone to watch 4k youtube videos, 4k movies that I rip in only iso format for uncompressed 4k videos, play games, watch live tv and sports. Basically a small portable TV in my pocket for my phone and the tablet like a portable external monitor. There are some gaming phones with 2 batteries with each battery being 3,000 mah each, so the sony tablet could have 2 batteries, 5,000 mah for each battery.

The OnePlus Pad is the same as the Oppo Pad 2. The MSRP is too high. I like the display's form factor. However, the quality of the display itself is less than average. It's one of the weak points of the tablet. I'll probably pass.

99% of all my tablets are iPads. And Zero and I mean ZERO% of them have the battery life Apple says they should have. NONE. Not one.
On the flip side OP says the OP Tablet has X battery life. Apple has lied to us for a decade about battery life on iPad and iPhone so I should believe any other company is going to be honest about it.
OP tablet may not last as long as they say.
But I do know this. It lasts as long as any iPad.

Im sorry but samsung tab and pixel tablet(literally an iPad of android) is much better then this clone of Apple iPad. You want a iPad pro that runs android go for s8 plus or s8 ultra by Samsung. If ur going for ipad 9th gen styled or 10th gen style where it a kids tablet and ur gonna use for basic stuff then pixel tablet is much better. If u dont want an ipad os and apple thing.

Note: My OnePlus 5 phone from 2017 (over 6 years ago) that I still use today has 8 gigs of RAM. There's no better example that shows that Moore's Law is dead than this simple fact. Why does it seem like nobody else notices that technological improvement has come to a screeching halt?

If you were an educated user, then maybe you'd have a different opinion. Some people don't like having their hand held while using devices and being told what they can or can not install. Like comparing Windows to Mac. It's compatibility and freedom to change things to make them work better for you if you have the knowhow
