Man this was actually super nostalgic for me. Thus was my first card I slotted into our home PC to play Garry's mod and counter strike
EVGA used to have a step up program where you RMA these low tier cards and they would apply the msrp to a newer one.

They pretty much told Nvidia to shove it because of the restrictions they were imposing on them. It's sad cause EVGA made the best cards on the market

i got a gt640 1gb ddr3 in my current rig under my 6700xt. i just use it for a dvi port, and i pass it thru to vms for gpu acceleration.

@@denox420 I do that with a hd7470 and a txt 2070 is my main card I did a video on the hd 7470 a while ago pretty similar to this card
