ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!... what a 'bike - I had RD 350 + RD 500 back in '83/84 & '85 which I loved, but obviously not a patch on something like this, stunning!
I have seen comments about the bike being presented as a Yamaha when it is bereft of Yamaha parts. It is just a paint job. Similar but different: I own a 1998 Garelli 250 GP bike that Casoli rode in the world championship that year. While the machine is presented as a Garelli, what they actually did is acquire a Yamaha TZ250S, modify the bike and then run it in the grand prix races. This was because the money was no longer there to develop the tandem racers. In terms of success, Casoli had very little that year. However, I don't mind I have the bike as part of my collection.
Not a megabucks special but I do have a relatively unusual ktm 450 rally bike. Makes for an interesting ride out when you get looks wherever you go even get nods of appreciation from traffic cops.
awesome, if you wanna do a video on mine, let me know, have a hand built Ducati TT2, with modern touches but still looks classic, came runner up in Ducati's special challenge
@@dananton7370 What a silly laughable response. You don't know me and hence have zero idea about what I can afford and/or what budget's I decide to allocate to things I buy or build. Regardless, it still won't change the fact even four years later that paying £75k for a bitsa replica RS250/RG500 hybrid thing is madness!
@@dananton7370 I have more than a clue and that's exactly what it is. Got to be honest I find it quite sad you have such a hard on for this bike. There is no question it's extremely well presented and has a lovely paint job. But that won't change the fact underneath all that its running an RG500 motor in an RS250 frame - which makes it a hybrid thing. I'm going to guess you either don't ride bikes and/or don't even an own a two stroke. I own several including my own RG500 (plus enough parts to build another) bitsa hybrid thing but at least my RG500 motor is sat in its original RG500 frame which is really the only frame it fits properly in due to the square four engine layout and side mounted carbs. I even raced mine many years back (albeit quite slowly). I suggest stop getting all excited over TH-cam videos, along with leaving silly comments, and actually leaving the house and experience things for yourself - you never know you might enjoy it. Last response from me so have fun leaving another laughable response sweetheart.
@@dwhxyz I'm in the middle of making my first of 2. If you haven't done one then you have no idea what's involved. The rs250 was a hybrid thing too was it as they got the fucking engine from Suzuki. You fucking twat 😂

That is a beautiful bike, lucky man.

Absolutely sick!!!
Nice bikenstein build 👍🏻 very beautiful and tasty 😋
My dream bike
😍😍😍👍
Its not a one off, I have one too.
Well done 🙄👍The Beauty and the Beast ⚠
So it's an Aprillia frame, a Suzuki engine, yet it says Yamaha on the tank..
im guessing purely because its the YZR500 Paintjob
You’re so clever.
And the Aprillia frame is built by Benelli
Only add it with wearpack from Honda and boot from Kawasaki, sponsored by Ducati
No flies on you is there
for that sort of money get a Suter 500
cant use the suter on the road though ,
I want it so much it hurts
Mint
That belongs in a museum.
No way Stu a bike as superb as this has got to be enjoyed on track or road, what a build, magnificent.

£75k = mug. The sad thing is for that sort of money you are on the way to buying a proper Harris YZR500.
Just because you haven't got the budget don't knock him for giving people work sweetheart
