Great Video Mate. Do more Videos love the Day in the Life 😊
Thanks! I’ll start recording more of my jobs 💪
Please do more of these 🙏
Will do!💪
Very informative my man. Good thing to use to cover holes in down and drainage pipes is Flash Band though. 🤛🏼
Ah thanks for that! I’ll bear that in mind next time I’m removing condense from a downpipe
Absolutely top quality as always, love the content and the day on the life..! Definitely looking forward to lots of these - 👌✅
Thanks! Just uploaded a full boiler install, I’m aiming to upload a day in the life vid every other Thurs/Friday

Would like to see the condense pump wiring vid mate
Hi mate, it’s on my membership website. It’s under the category “Wiring / Thermostats”
Link is in the description of this video
Nice one pal, really enjoyed it 👍🏻
Good to hear!💪
Great video ❤
Absolutely amazing please make more,
Would like to ask you mentioned there is a video how to wire condensate pump , if u can send link please I can't find where.
Thanks alot
Brilliant vid, proper beneficial 👌🏽
Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video can you please add how much each job cost the customer would really help thanks
Very good video for people in training like me. Just have one question, probably a stupid one, but when you go to a breakdown, do you have spares on you, or you order them after you've found out exactly the problem is? Thanks 👍
It’s a good question! So I keep spare parts of the most common boiler faults such as water pressure sensors, pumps, electrodes etc. But normally when I go to a job the customer will tell me what’s wrong with the boiler before I get there. If I can diagnose it over the phone then I’ll take parts. If I don’t know what’s wrong with it then I’ll figure it out when I’m there and then go to the shop if they have it in stock.
Thank you, I've learned more from your videos than on my course :)
@@AnEyeScream haha! good to hear the videos are helping
You deserve a medal bro really like your vids keep them comin always nice and clear well explained.
Really good series mate but how do you check if it is the air flow sensor or the gas valve.
Just found your videos, great stuff and very informative. 1 question though, would you not clean a prv instead of changing it especially with how accessible it is? Ultimately changing is always a best option but keeps customers costs down.
Thanks Sean! In terms of your PRV question, it’s just the way I was taught tbh. I was always taught to replace it, not clean it. There’s always multiple ways to do the same job, it’s always what works best for you and the customer. There’s nothing wrong with cleaning it instead of changing it 👍
Did baxi really change that fan, even though boiler clearly not installed to MIs? Especially as it blew because condensate was done wrong.
I was surprised as well. I’m not sure if he ended up paying them to do it but when I came back it was fixed. There was also official Baxi paperwork there as well
God bless bro. Any chance you can give a rough idea on how much to charge for each job you do. It will really help to price correctly
f76 get me an answer................... your a good guy i can see.
Hi there, your content is amazing thanks for sharing this. Do you work for yourself?
Hello mate, really interesting video, love the professionalism! I'm thinking of changing careers and looking at gas engineering. Do you mind if i ask; are you self employed and were all these jobs in one day?
Thanks
Whats training and experience are needed to be doing this job?
Hi, you need to be gas safe to do this work
Why don’t you use a multimeter for testing rather than replacing fuses and hoping you don’t destroy anything in the process?
How do you do that
@@coolmonkey619 Measure the resistance?
pidgeon perch? quite surprized they fixed it for you before defects were sorted. i have landlords who say they will fix things for tennants. they never do. ty for the upload.
Yeah some landlords really don’t care about their tenants. But you also get landlords that go above and beyond for their tenants which is always nice to see!
lol bill the electicians insurance.
Haha! The damage wasn’t actually too bad considering it was mains water. Wet vac cleaned it up nicely 💪
Scary how many diyers touch gas
Tell me about it
so vaillant dont give you right info? make sure no water squits into the air intlet! as you probably know. ok got to the point in upload where water is in there. you were lucky.
how do you stand going to such bad installs? sometimes by accredited people.
Respect but do you not get people that don't pay you that's what i found when self employed
