Spirit of salts (hydrochloric acid) is corrosive to stainless steel, removing its water resistance and should not be used for this purpose. Yes it will effectively dissolve blockages, which is why engineers often use it, but could cause pin holing. Phosphoric acid, or 10% sulphuric acid is a better option.

Hi, if the original vaillent heat echanger has a NTC sensor attached to it and you replace it with an OEM heat exchanger, how can you attach the NTC sensor back as the OEM veersion slightly different (same as the one in video)?

Flues don't necassarily need to be cemented, they just need to be sealed to the fabric of the building. You can use flue snugs or baxi flues now come with sealing collars that don't need any additional materials. Leaving it with nothing is just poor.

your new diverter valve won’t include the diaphragm housing which can be removed without draining the boiler and you can also get a new diverter service kit
