Bikepacking from Conwy to Machynlleth Sep 24

A short 2 day bikepacking adventure set in North Wales from Conwy to Machynlleth. This is my return journey after completing the harder Traws Eryri route (the trans Snowdonia route by mountain bike wildcamping - see my other videos for this. The return journey is primarily along the coast passing through Bangor, Caernarfon, Harlech, Barmouth and then turning in towards Dolgellau and back to the start at Machynlleth. This bikepacking adventure is an easier alternative to the Traws Eryri route with half the ascension and on smooth roads and gravel tracks throughout. It is still a very stunning route with 4 Castles, beaches, marinas, coastal views and views of the Snowdonia mountains throughout. I chose a campsite for the first night after 4 days of wildcamping and wild camped near Harlech. A wonderful easier alternative (or return journey alternative) to the Traws Eryri route. I would strongly recommend doing both together if you have the legs (5-6 days in total). I have posted a two part video of the Traws Eryri route as a prequel to this video the epic return journey.
