I remember walking around New York at the 10th anniversary event and hearing this and looking up at the huge Pikachu balloon. Felt like I was in the real Pokémon world. Seriously the best times ever.

English Openings? Definitely. Along with the Black and White opening, it's the best one. When counting Japanese openings, it's in my top 5 openings overall. Pokémon XYZ's opening is imo the best one of them all, partially because it sounds the most Shounen and it was one of the times Pokémon was at their peak.

This is what should have happened, not the "kinda-stupid" Pokemon School they had.
Yeh of all leagues to win the Alloa league and animation didn’t look that good. Sinnoh or kalas we’re better choices even though I haven’t watched them I’ve seen bits and heard good stuff from both religions

I have loved Pokèmon since the beginning, from watching the original series to playing all the games. I still play all the games but I don't want the anime anymore as I never got over them letting the original voice actors go however I still buy every game day one!

A huge nostalgia blast for me when this theme plays out. Still have like last 6 or so episodes on VHS. Watched those over and over again when i was a kid. Fun fact, season 6 was the first full season to be dubbed in finnish. Before that first 52 episodes were dubbed from season 1, season 2 skipped entirely (exept the movie), some of season 3, first 20 episodes from season 4 and then last 20 epsiodes from season 5. I don't know why it was done this way. So when i watched all seasons from episode 1 some years ago there was a lot of new episodes for me.

One of my favorite Pokemon opens. I remember hearing this intro while in my undergrad in college in Oklahoma. I would hear it while watching it in my dorm on weekdays, watching the sun go down too, as the days were getting shorter and the cool air of the day filled the room while watching an episode of Pokemon: Master Quest! It was like, 2002-03. Memories!!!!
This series itself was a bit before my time (Gen 4) but I watched Pokemon Heroes a lot growing up, and damn that little bit at 1:05 til 1:11 is just so powerful, really tugs on my heartstrings. The whole song is fantastic but just that part just screams Pokemon to me and feels super nostalgic. I love it!

This song just reminds me of the end of johto ... Gary v Ash, and Ash v Harrison's Blaziken from the next Generation/region. Seemed like the mose epic way to end Johto imo.
