The 2 of them just get killed and the game just carried on like nothing happened. Especially since the Sean and Lenny were 2 of the most likeable characters in the gang

@@sallycastillo4981 Micah was already in Dutch's ear, after all Micah convinced Dutch to rob the boat in Blackwater whilst Hosea tried to convince Dutch not to do it but to no avail. Hosea was keeping things together but if he had survived Saint Denis sooner or later him and Dutch would come to blows, if you keep an eye out on the campsites especially when they're in Mountains you'll notice that Dutch and Hosea argue a lot.

I laughed at that but I think that is just Reverend being his eccentric self cause he does continue to hold his hand on Arthur’s shoulder until they both stand and then they shake hands
It happens, he misses the gang and the outlaw life. They were family and now that he left and settled down he uses the photo to remember how things were before everything fell apart and he felt whole again. He loves his life but misses the adventure and excitement that came with rolling with outlaws. It's like an office worker that used to be punk rock with his friends in high school before disbanding for college and such
John killing Micah led Ross right to him, eventually leading to his death, and I wouldnt be surprised if the same happened to Jack eventually. It's a shame but it's true

I do, but I would like a complete new story, I feel like the "Redemption" saga is perfect as it is, the story of the Van Der Linde gang is finished (there's Jack Marston, as the only remaining member - if you counted him as one - alive, but I don't care for him that much). So... either a Red Dead Revolver II (reprising the story of Red) or a complete new saga called "Red Dead [something-else]".

@@Jake-hs4ft Just remember there is a 4 year time gap between Charles and Sadie leaving and the first game. It took the Pinkerton's 4 years to find John after he killed Micah.
I think the most poetic thing is Dutch had his clarity moment before his fall in RDR1 where he went to the mountain to kill Micah. He even tells John "I'm here for the same reason as you." To kill Micah. Dutch kills the person who got a lot of his friends killed.
Ultimately by that point Dutch realized Micah was the rat but there was nothing to mend or fix by that point with the remaining survivors. Hence why he just doesn't say anything to John and just walks away. Dutch knew he's the one who fucked everything up. It's just by Rdr1 he stoops to his lowest point with nothing to go for anymore.
Dutch is the one to blame in first place. His narcissist personality destroyed the gang, and only gets worse as the story progresses. the head trauma, concussion, he gets on the trolly robbery also speeds up Dutch's bad mental conditions, he was pretty "sick" and packed a lot of negative psychological and psychiatric disorders (Narcissisim, Gog Complex, Psychopathy, most likely neurological malfunction of the pre frontal cortex, amygdala, and others possibly also in the right parietal lobe, mythomania, paranoid personality, also likely borderline personality disorder, compulsive liar... man, he really scores - which means he may not have it - on almost all of the worst disorders...)

If you think about it, the last remaining former Van Der Linde members that are still alive/not captured are Jack, Sadie, Charles, Pearson, Tilly, Josiah and Swanson. Milton and Ross said they're gonna kill them all and they failed.
With the exception of Charles and Sadie, the survivors didn't commit any real crimes besides run with the gang. So I guess they thought that they weren't going to cause trouble while the other gang members are still at large.
The wedding scene brings me on the verge of tears, I'm so happy that, in that moment, they're happy. They're the happiest they've ever been in so long after all the fighting and tragedy. Maybe they didn't get to hold onto it forever, but at least they were given the chance to be happy for a little while because of the sacrifices Arthur and all of the good gang members made in attempt to save them all.

you may be in fact assured that is a fact that that image is of the Downes family, not the Trelawny - he had children too, which does not show in the cut scene. plus just put side to side the faces of Trelawny and Edith son and they're nothing alike. It's been debunked already, a small mistake in an awesome video.
Yeah i was disappointed with those "reunions" john had with mary-beth tilly and pearson i would have gladly watched a 10 minute cutscene of them telling john what they did since they last saw him and ask him about the other gang members and also how john just bumped into uncle in blackwater and no convo about what he did either coz didnt he run off with pearson and mary-beth?

Well nobody liked Sean. However if you listen to some dialogue, Sean wants to be just like Arthur, or impress him. I don’t see Sean as a loyalist to Dutch, so I believe Sean would be on Arthur’s side.

The gang was supposed to be in Tahiti eating mangos. I wish the gang didn’t break apart. People going separate way and dying was the saddest thing. This is all Micahs fault. It’s best just to stay in horse shoe overlook.

I think that only happens if you and your horse are good friends. I had a beautiful war horse called strawberry and I didn't want it to die, so I did the last mission with the horse you use to go back to Shady Bell un chapter 6
This video isn't entirely accurate (in my mind at least). Assuming you played honourably, Arthur is left dying on the mountain watching the sunrise. He then wakes up the next day feeling a bit better - confused, he goes to the doctors and found he was misdiagnosed. That cough? Just a nasty 19th century style chest infection, some medicine will take care of that. The red blotchy skin? Iron deficiency - when ones diet consists entirely of eating plants found across the wilderness, this isn't surprising. The eyes though, surely THAT'S got to be from the TB... nope, Arthur was just under a lot of stress lately. A few days rest, and Arthur is all better, and he goes off to retire with Mary. That was the actual ending. Meanwhile, several years later, John is tasked by the government to take down some "members" of his former gang. See, Dutch, Javier and Bill all hired body doubles due to the paranoia and it's actually them that John goes after. John completes his duties, returns to Beechers Hope with his now returned family and as we all know... the game ends there. The end. You can turn off your console after that, there's just a bunch of farming missions and nothing else - NOTHING ELSE! They all live happily ever after. And it turns out Uncle really did have lumbago, but that gets better as well. Dutch becomes a mango farmer in Tahiti. Javier becomes a famous Mexican troubadour. Bill becomes the face of a brand of hair pomade. And Micah? Micah's dead. Fuck Micah.

Personally I think Micah sold them out before Blackwater as literally every robbery involving him has a massive amount of Pinkerton's and he camped separately from the gang for random periods of time.

I've replayed the game four times. I've never got the low honour ending and been shot by Micah, that ending doesn't exist for me, his high honour death is so much better.
That's weird, I've completed the game twice and both times it's low honour and Micah shoots arthur in the face, i wish I got the other ending though I feel like it's what arthur deserves
cash money no lol just don’t kill people In cold blood and rob their dead bodies and you’ll almost certainly finish the game with high honor anyways. The game seems designed to show you the high honor ending anyways as that is the in canon way Arthur Morgan was killed even if you choose the non moral decision of not helping John and going back for the money.
Charles says that Strauss was captured by the Pinkertons and tortured to death without saying a word about the gang. Reverend Swanson is said to be the new pastor at a church in New York by the Blackwater Newspaper. Trelawny leaves similarly to Swanson (when Dutch isn’t there to see him leave). He says goodbye to Arthur and basically says that he’ll miss him. You don’t know what happens to him after that.
You know when you first show up in Saint Denis with Dutch, and you end up having to chase this kid who steals your satchel? As soon as you reach the first little area where you gotta ask people where the kid went, you can Hear Trelawnys family in the background, he was giving gifts to his kids and his wife! some interesting dialogue there.
Oliver James Trelawny was doing one of his typical leaves, he said he’d be back but Arthur said not to come back, since the gang would be done by then.
Hosea’s death was the one who hit me the hardest he was my favourite one in the gang because he was the only one that didn’t listen too Dutch and actually wanted peace and too stop robbing and killing but he still went with him because he was loyal to the gang and in the end it was Dutch that got him killed for not listening to hosea
He got what he deserved. I loved this game and I got mad at 3 points. 1. Arthur got sick 2. Arthurs dead 3. The Point where the truth about micah came out. RD1 was good. RD2 is a fcking masterpiece
The trelawny one is actually Archie Downes, strauss was killed by the Pinkerton’s after getting kicked out the gang, but never said a word, bill and Javier get killed by John and Dutch commits suicide. Reverend potentially becomes a pastor in New York.
The reverend is a very underrated moment within the game for me. I love he is clean by the end of the game. Gaining some clarity and giving Arthur some words to think about.
True. However honestly, if u complete a specific side mission, u speak to a nun instead of the reverend, and that cutscene is way better. I wish it was reverend that made the speech instead of the nun, though it wouldn’t fit his character.

I think the most poetic thing is Dutch had his clarity moment before his fall in RDR1 where he went to the mountain to kill Micah. He even tells John "I'm here for the same reason as you." To kill Micah. Dutch kills the person who got a lot of his friends killed.
Ultimately by that point Dutch realized Micah was the rat but there was nothing to mend or fix by that point with the remaining survivors. Hence why he just doesn't say anything to John and just walks away. Dutch knew he's the one who fucked everything up. It's just by Rdr1 he stoops to his lowest point with nothing to go for anymore.
Dutch is the one to blame in first place. His narcissist personality destroyed the gang, and only gets worse as the story progresses. the head trauma, concussion, he gets on the trolly robbery also speeds up Dutch's bad mental conditions, he was pretty "sick" and packed a lot of negative psychological and psychiatric disorders (Narcissisim, Gog Complex, Psychopathy, most likely neurological malfunction of the pre frontal cortex, amygdala, and others possibly also in the right parietal lobe, mythomania, paranoid personality, also likely borderline personality disorder, compulsive liar... man, he really scores - which means he may not have it - on almost all of the worst disorders...)

The wedding scene brings me on the verge of tears, I'm so happy that, in that moment, they're happy. They're the happiest they've ever been in so long after all the fighting and tragedy. I think that only happens if you and your horse are good friends. I had a beautiful war horse called strawberry and I didn't want it to die, so I did the last mission with the horse you use to go back to Shady Bell un chapter 6
I had the same horse from the beginning. I nearly broke in tears when he died. I almost cried even more when Arthur eased him into death.

This video isn't entirely accurate (in my mind at least). Assuming you played honourably, Arthur is left dying on the mountain watching the sunrise. He then wakes up the next day feeling a bit better - confused, he goes to the doctors and found he was misdiagnosed. That cough? Just a nasty 19th century style chest infection, some medicine will take care of that. The red blotchy skin? Iron deficiency - when ones diet consists entirely of eating plants found across the wilderness, this isn't surprising. The eyes though, surely THAT'S got to be from the TB... nope, Arthur was just under a lot of stress lately. A few days rest, and Arthur is all better, and he goes off to retire with Mary. That was the actual ending.
Meanwhile, several years later, John is tasked by the government to take down some "members" of his former gang. See, Dutch, Javier and Bill all hired body doubles due to the paranoia and it's actually them that John goes after. John completes his duties, returns to Beechers Hope with his now returned family and as we all know... the game ends there. The end. You can turn off your console after that, there's just a bunch of farming missions and nothing else - NOTHING ELSE! They all live happily ever after. And it turns out Uncle really did have lumbago, but that gets better as well.
Dutch becomes a mango farmer in Tahiti.
Javier becomes a famous Mexican troubadour.
Bill becomes the face of a brand of hair pomade.

Personally I think Micah sold them out before Blackwater as literally every robbery involving him has a massive amount of Pinkerton's and he camped separately from the gang for random periods of time.

I've replayed the game four times. I've never got the low honour ending and been shot by Micah, that ending doesn't exist for me, his high honour death is so much better.

cash money no lol just don’t kill people In cold blood and rob their dead bodies and you’ll almost certainly finish the game with high honor anyways. The game seems designed to show you the high honor ending anyways as that is the in canon way Arthur Morgan was killed even if you choose the non moral decision of not helping John and going back for the money.
Charles says that Strauss was captured by the Pinkertons and tortured to death without saying a word about the gang.
Reverend Swanson is said to be the new pastor at a church in New York by the Blackwater Newspaper.
Trelawny leaves similarly to Swanson (when Dutch isn’t there to see him leave). He says goodbye to Arthur and basically says that he’ll miss him. You don’t know what happens to him after that.
You know when you first show up in Saint Denis with Dutch, and you end up having to chase this kid who steals your satchel? As soon as you reach the first little area where you gotta ask people where the kid went, you can Hear Trelawnys family in the background, he was giving gifts to his kids and his wife! some interesting dialogue there.
Oliver James Trelawny was doing one of his typical leaves, he said he’d be back but Arthur said not to come back, since the gang would be done by then.

Hosea’s death was the one who hit me the hardest he was my favourite one in the gang because he was the only one that didn’t listen too Dutch and actually wanted peace and too stop robbing and killing but he still went with him because he was loyal to the gang and in the end it was Dutch that got him killed for not listening to hosea

True. However honestly, if u complete a specific side mission, u speak to a nun instead of the reverend, and that cutscene is way better.
I wish it was reverend that made the speech instead of the nun, though it wouldn’t fit his character.
