I remember clan wars of hundreds of players, good times, these console companies are learning about how popular role playing open world games are. But this is rockstar, they love control, those other games let players control the game world, economy, and updates because it was monthly subscription and they didn’t sell in game cash and ruin their economy, the only way to level up or get money was by playing...oh and you could die and lose items, trade them, give them away...it was your choice! Sure there were scammers but clans like this kept new players from being scammed by opportunists... good times

In a clan that big, the universal language is key to successful management. I see a member reporting that a client was escorted safely. I do not see a member reporting 'Uh...yeah...uhm the dude that hired us made it. I know what you mean but you want to communicate effectively and as quickly as possible in a pvp world.

I feel that a lot of people ride solo because most of the community isn’t full of 12 year old toxic children... so pretty much what I’m saying is that there are a lot of mature people who play this game consistently, to which more matured individuals don’t follow much crowds imo

This is how I picture what Dutch and the gang could’ve been if Dutch never broke down and his charisma won many people. Imagine if the clan’s downfall ended up like Dutch’s gang. That would be one of the most memorable things in the community than just real world problems or players moving on.

Played the main story through 4 times now, but still love the online experience, on average put in 30 hours a week. but like i said i love the western theme, plus I'm a oldie and like a gentle pace in gaming now that my retro years have gone lol
As a veteran who stood watch in military installations, I don't think I could ever join this lot. We would want to embrace our freedom and enjoy being alone after all the craziness...

No, because R* is not willing to take the effort. This game will never boom, mark my words. Ive been playing since day one. R* doesn't care, RDO is just a easy cash cow for them. See how little effort they make, while they still earn lots of money. If they only cared a little bit we wouldve had heists already. The community has been asking for it since day one, and all we get is new cosmetics and horses. I already have everything I want, there's no need in playing. What's the point of grinding money, gold and XP if it doesn't get you anything?? I want a mension, a farm, shops, banks, idc. I want property. Not a freaking new hat!!
@@hanselthecaretaker well keep in mind it took a long time before gta online was really any good. It’s been updated for over 6 years now. Rdo is kinda new. GTA online was so boring and there were no ways to make money two years after launch. The heists took years to launch but when it did it saved the game in a way. GTA online has died many times. Red dead online will die and come back many times as well. If it’s like gta. Like many people have said rdo need heists and property to breath good life into it. They need to cut back on greed and put in more content. They need this backlash to get better also. They officially fucked everything so at this point it’s gonna be so or die.

I was actually in a few crews and even lead some to. at one point my crew was fighting along side Charon in a war that went on forever. I had spoken to cutterlocus quite a few times before hand it was very epic. However this video went into all the good things about it and not the bad things and this is why I parted ways with them. Charon very often booted people offline on Xbox just to complete a clients contract. I know this for sure as one of my friends was in Charon for a good while I had also fought with them seeing all of this. They wouldn’t just go after griefers but also the people who were being griefied if they were I hired in that way. I’m not saying that it is this guys fault saying all this nice stuff but he might have just been told the wrong things. And in my opinion a smaller crew is heaps more fun anyways😀

This is why I tend to be an "freelancer" I I named my posse "Freelancer" an solo gunslinger. I avoid such dumb gangs and groups that spreads false ass shit. This is why I hate dumb communities. False information. Even the group I'm in, I'm questioning like I don't even need to join the group as I'm merely invited and welcomed. They didn't tell me "your an member now" like.... I didn't ask to join neither was I wanting to. And seeing as you've invited me to play and join in, that doesn't mean I'm part of the gang or group. I'm an freelancer and forever will be one. I don't trust groups.

I'm a playstation player, but I'd love to just even interact with these guys! They all seem so nice and caring. I'm in a couple posse clans myself, and it's always usually about family and helping out with the grind. It's good to have a real community for a game that's not being cared too much by it's own devs.
Well, it's a good game and we want to enjoy it but rockstar doesn't give a shit about making online a good experience. Honestly nice to see people give enough of a shit to make a broken online format cool
I can imagine a small crew of 3-5 people trying to take over the mansion then the whole crew surrounds the building and starts to shoot up the doors and everything like at the end of RDR1, they could probably start doing role play vids on YT like that, it would be cool if they opened a PS4 version
@@JC-li8kk I can't remember when this was agreed to or why but a bunch of the bigger groups on xbox agreed to which locations was territory of who. I know Charon has Fort Mercer and Saint Denis and I think they have Annesburg.
@@Other_RookieI’m guessing they mostly end up inviting each other into their lobbies and create 3 large posses so I doubt they have to worry about fighting over territory. Unless they have a rule that limits 7 members to a lobby.

Dont know how shitty it is on consoles, but on PCs we transport and transport and transport...NEVER got griefed. No, I often get calls if I want join to share some money. In two years not even once did I needed one mate to secure the load....for money and exp sharing but never as security.

It’s a nice idea, but sounds stifling. Sometimes I want to do my own thing & not have to “answer to” anyone. Even playing with the same friends all the time & them expecting you to play with them every time you get on gets annoying. Why I never get too close to anyone when gaming.
For me, I don't really like dealing with other peoples drama. And I'd like to do things in my own pace. I wouldn't mind tagging along though. Do some heists. Still good to have a dedicated crew for that. Doing it with randoms is frustrating.
I never enjoy being in posse’s as I’m not very sociable, in every online game I played I was always a solo player trying to help other players new and old because I just love helping people

My crew doesn’t do no weird ass guarding and we have fun like do fist fight tournaments bar fights things like that we’re not a serious crew but we still clap people up but always have fun laugh and joke around I bet you spend a few hours playing with us and you’ll wanna join were on PS4 and we’re called GHOST AND GUNS

In a world of covid and people already not really being Social out in public. I think this is a great way to make friends, have fun, make some cash, have an outlet, and just be a part of something. The fact that they help people. Protect you especially when your just trying to do your own thing. And build on your Character. Too be honest this kind of stuff is fun for role playing purposes. But don’t take it all too seriously. Also, it’s kinda gay that when your crew is that big, u basically the only players in the lobby.. so it’s just totally unnecessary to have guards lol
Honestly... Charon would win, as much as I bashed them in my past after leaving Cutter has clearly changed, he’s become a better person and probably could lead Charon to the end of time and still keep going

Sure i can see the appeal, but it's bound to recruit it's own griefers, thats obvious. The game is what it is, it'll never be as big as Rockstars golden goose GTA. But a couple years down the line on the new generation consoles, i don't think it'll be half bad. The main lobbies will empty if Rockstar gives us private lobbies, that's for sure lol

But I'm addicted to making more MUNEH and gold, and owning any ol crap they throw at us lol. Crews can be dodgy to be part of though, it's not so much the griefers, it's as you said, they'll always be there. But i was part of a posse back in RDR1 online and had my PS3 bricked by a so called team mate, who managed to hack into my device just because we fell out. Could never prove it though, so since then i use a VPN and closed my friend invites, and made everything private for me only. Not worth the risk imo. I've read a few comments that this crew has had it's toxic moment though, but then again there'll always be some lil peckerneck that'll grief and not like being shot for it, so run to his buddies squealing for revenge lol
I joined not knowing really what I was getting into and I can definitely say I’m glad I joined. They have awesome events like fist fights and shootouts and you always have someone to play with if you want. If you are getting griefed you can always ask a fellow member for help and they will come mess them up for you. It has opened up rdo so much for me
Good things: Creating a sense of community and a sense of purpose Bad things: Requiring people to spend time "guarding" a mansion so you can posture online, calling anyone who attacks wagons (something that is specifically encouraged by the in-game mechanics) "griefers" and sending a thousand fanboys after them

I’ve actually fought against these guys a long time ago in September 2019 and March 2020 these guys would overwhelm lobbies and if I’m gonna be honest they sucked 1 on 1 and nobody really likes them outside of the clan. And the leader Cutter doxes people. The more I think about it the more I think that’s the people I fought against may as well had been completely different people but it all adds up weirdly.

See how little effort they make, while they still earn lots of money. If they only cared a little bit we wouldve had heists already. GTA online was so boring and there were no ways to make money two years after launch. The heists took years to launch but when it did it saved the game in a way. GTA online has died many times. Red dead online will die and come back many times as well. If it’s like gta. Like many people have said rdo need heists and property to breath good life into it. They need to cut back on greed and put in more content. They need this backlash to get better also. They officially fucked everything so at this point it’s gonna be so or die.

I was actually in a few crews and even lead some to. at one point my crew was fighting along side Charon in a war that went on forever. I had spoken to cutterlocus quite a few times before hand it was very epic. However this video went into all the good things about it and not the bad things and this is why I parted ways with them. Charon very often booted people offline on Xbox just to complete a clients contract. I know this for sure as one of my friends was in Charon for a good while I had also fought with them seeing all of this. They wouldn’t just go after griefers but also the people who were being griefied if they were I hired in that way. I’m not saying that it is this guys fault saying all this nice stuff but he might have just been told the wrong things. And in my opinion a smaller crew is heaps more fun anyways😀

It’s a nice idea, but sounds stifling. Sometimes I want to do my own thing & not have to “answer to” anyone. Even playing with the same friends all the time & them expecting you to play with them every time you get on gets annoying. Why I never get too close to anyone when gaming.
I guarantee you that there’s a crew/clan out there that would be chill with you being on your own etc.
For me, I don't really like dealing with other peoples drama. And I'd like to do things in my own pace. I wouldn't mind tagging along though. Do some heists. Still good to have a dedicated crew for that. Doing it with randoms is frustrating.

I never enjoy being in posse’s as I’m not very sociable, in every online game I played I was always a solo player trying to help other players new and old because I just love helping people
Nothing wrong with that as I play the same way by myself without other players but don't mind having an extra set of hands

But i was part of a posse back in RDR1 online and had my PS3 bricked by a so called team mate, who managed to hack into my device just because we fell out.
Could never prove it though, so since then i use a VPN and closed my friend invites, and made everything private for me only.
Not worth the risk imo.

I joined not knowing really what I was getting into and I can definitely say I’m glad I joined. They have awesome events like fist fights and shootouts and you always have someone to play with if you want. If you are getting griefed you can always ask a fellow member for help and they will come mess them up for you. It has opened up rdo so much for me

Not even an RP myself but what's with all the hate for them? They spent the money to get the game, they can do whatever they please. It's not hurting anyone and clearly they seem to enjoy it lol
I’ve actually fought against these guys a long time ago in September 2019 and March 2020 these guys would overwhelm lobbies and if I’m gonna be honest they sucked 1 on 1 and nobody really likes them outside of the clan. And the leader Cutter doxes people. The more I think about it the more I think that’s the people I fought against may as well had been completely different people but it all adds up weirdly.

@@anthonybisesi482 exactly most people join gangs for protection because they can’t survive on their own. I’m not saying that’s all crew’s because sometimes it is fun to do missions with friends but most of the time I’m a loner and I’m just fine
This is AMAZING bro.....like this is something I'd so be down to do, because for one I hate toxic PLAYERS and I love organizing fun things to do but I run into problems finding things to do in the game, so this is really cool.

@Cruiser they are a bunch of no life’s and have to get on at a specific time they play the game very seriously and once kicked a guy out of their clan for playing animal crossing when he was guarding it’s so ridiculous there’s a whole documentary on TH-cam

I actually fought someone in the Charon industry after the fight he asked if I wanted to join them I said I no I didn't take the guy seriously when he said it was a huge crew until I saw this video
So they are basically making their own role and being guns for hire. That's pretty cool

My crew doesn’t do no weird ass guarding and we have fun like do fist fight tournaments bar fights things like that we’re not a serious crew but we still clap people up but always have fun laugh and joke around I bet you spend a few hours playing with us and you’ll wanna join were on PS4 and we’re called GHOST AND GUNS
This is obviously something they enjoy and I'm glad they can use their numbers to help other players.

You need a certain wagon (one with a roof you can climb on top of) to get high enough to climb up on a ledge to get in

The game itself is amazing and the story is incredible, it’s the online mode that’s the problem not the whole game
