Thanks for sharing this authentic recipe 🎖 created a Mexican 🇲🇽 feast 🪆 yellow rice, crushed fried green plantains, roasted corn on the cob 🌽 DELICIOUS 😋
thanks so much for the detail in making this dish. my son had requested for his birthday dinner. it was a big hit. I made flour tortillas that used butter instead of lard. put refried beans on the tortilla with sour cream and added your fantastic recipe on top. WOW... mission accomplished thanks again from a native Texan.
Pro-tip: Make a bigger batch of the marinade (like X4 or X6 the size specified) and put it in a mason jar in your fridge. Do that a day before you're even going to make these so when you marinade your chix it'll get a marinade with well-melded flavors. Marinade like this will keep for like 1+ year in your fridge no problem (essentially it's just a salad dressing) and just keep getting better and better for later times you want to make these with the marinade you already have handy :) Also, thighs are way better-tasting for fajitas than breasts. And if you aren't going to marinade for at least 2 hours, don't bother, make something else that night. I like about an 8 hour marinade myself.
After cooking this I did a taste test. I doubled the marinade spices at the last minute for the same amount of chicken and veggies to get a little extra boost on the flavor and added a little mesquite seasoning to get a little more “grilled” kick. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I don’t think you understand how thankful I am for your videos. Growing up without my mom I was lost in the kitchen. So when I became a mom I was completely clueless. I used to hate cooking because I always messed up the recipe lol. I eventually perfected about 9 dishes but didn’t like to try new ones to avoid wasting food. Anyway I tried this recipe tonight with a side of white rice and all I could hear was “mmm mom, this is soooo good.” Thanks so much I can’t wait to try your other recipes 🤗
Thanks for putting it so well. I used to feel the same pull. We didn't want to eat the same boring stuff but I didn't really know what I was doing and nobody wants to eat burnt/overcooked/ruined food and even if you sit there and pretend it's not messed up well it is. So you can get stuck in a rut well I know I won't mess this up.
I'm a really good cook, but I have never found a mix or a marinade that actually made my chicken taste the way I feel Fajitas should taste... UNTIL NOW.. THANK YOU SO MUCH
I legit cannot cook besides making a toasted sandwich 😭 and made this with my fam and oh my goodness… it was FLIPPING DELICIOUS!! The chicken was sooo juicy and amazing. Thanks so much for your recipe !!! 🤩
That's mostly what cooking is. Eventually as you learn you can get more creative like some chefs do but to start just follow the directions and any good recipe will take you there! I've only made 1 thing so far but it was so good I fully trust what this lady says. I live in the southwest and it was the best fajitas I ever had in at least a decade maybe forever.
I’ve tried making fajitas so many times but I could never get the right consistency or flavor until your video. WOW! They were excellent and the instructions were straightforward. Thank you so much!
i always change up the order of how i make chicken fajitas and my main dilemma is always whether to cook the chicken whole or cut it into pieces. i definitely think this is the best way to do it because you achieve actual browning and better flavor! great method!
Thanks! That video was AWSOME. I tried this and everyone liked it. My wife asked, where did you learn to do this? I told her I have a personal chef. LOL. I'll tell her one day, it is Villa Cocina. I'm looking forward to trying some of your other recipes also. Thank you again.
Your marinade is just amazing! I have been using this marinade recipe for about a year now. I keep going back to your video everytime 😁. All the family is impressed by the amazing flavor! I'm so grateful ❤ thank u !
I was told if I could make a dish for a party and did not know what to make until I came across this video Thank you I’ve never had a dish so good as this one before everyone else loves it as well
I invited my friends over yesterday and tried this in combination with your red salsa and your guacamole as a topping and it was sooo delicious!! All my friends loved it and everyone was happy. Thank you for these great recipes and also for all the details you include in the videos! Greetings from Germany ❤️
Just made this recipe and enjoyed my dinner so very much! This is a keeper. Will make again. So much better than using a seasoning packet for the marinade.
I am making this today. I think the way you cook the chicken is better than cutting it up in pieces then fry. Chicken dries out very easy. Over dry chicken can ruin the meal. Great recipe. Thank you!
I tried this Fajita recipe tonight. It's my first time making a Mexican dish! My Fajita was a little bit oily as I only used half pound chicken breasts and miscalculated the mixture olive oil and sunflower oil. It still turned out great. I even cooked dogs meal with the leftover marinate with chicken skins. The dogs love it.
So flavorful! I've made this so many times and share this recipe with everyone! And one more plus is that it's a very affordable meal. Thanks so much for sharing your yummy recipes!!!
I'll have to make these. I used your marinade to make the steak fajitas. I've made fajitas a couple dozen times at least. The marinade made them so good and helped the meat sear better I think maybe the honey? I don't think my family believes I made them but there's nowhere in town who makes fajitas that good so they probably think I hired some kind of chef but thank you. I was just thinking of chicken fajitas because you know muh prices lately so I'll have to check them out thank you again.
Thank you so much for this! I made this recipe tonight, and it was delicious 😋 🤌🏼! You are amazing! I love how detailed you are in your instructions, including temperatures. Keep up the good work! Sending love from Utah
I’m so glad I found your channel. I have gone back and look at all the videos you made this past year. Thank you. I look forward to watching and learning. This looks amazing.
I'm making this tonight and can't wait for it. The veggies and chicken (I used thighs instead of breasts) are marinating right now. These recipes always look so vibrant, colorful, and delicious!
I finished and everything was so good. The Guacamole was delish I made 1 with jalapenos and the other without. I also made the cilantro lime rice & pico Degallo my kids loved it . They called the dinner BOMB!! I added green peppers to my fajitas. Wish I could share a pic. ❤😁🥳😁😁❤❤❤😋
The best recipe for fajitas and I love how you make it so easy to follow. This is now my go to recipe and I make fajitas at least once a week now. It doesn’t take long at all ❤
I think people are sleeping on fajitas. Especially if you make sure to use corn tortillas I think it's down right healthy. We're supposed to eat different colored vegetables and there's at least 3 or 4 different colored bell peppers at the store it's like a food hack.
I made it for you dinner together with the rice.we all loved it and we will definitely eat it more. Next time il will try it with your tortilla as well. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
I just cooked this recipe following your video instructions exactly. Its so tasty..the whole family enjoyed it and asking for more. 😋😋😋👍👍👍 Tq very much for this wonderful recipe. Next I am planning to try your steak fajitas.
Finally somebody that can actually explain Mexican cooking I made your rice recipe and it came out Flawless the only thing I would say is it took 10 more minutes for cooking on low because a different pan it was non stick with the lid but really great recipes Roxanna
super yummy dinner! i rarely cook but this video was so easy to follow. my family loved it so much and wished that i cooked a larger serving. thank you for the delicious recipe!
These look Fabulous...I like Tomatoes in mine, but so afraid to put some in for they release alot of juice...how would I do that to insure it wasn't to juicy? BTW TY for the recipe...Can't wait to try it 😊😁
I would suggest removing the seeds. You can watch my process in this video Cactus salad: th-cam.com/video/9wisPAE8z_M/w-d-xo.html Just leave the slices thicker. Hope this helps
Tried your recipe for carne asada yesterday, it was fantastic! Can't wait to try this, been wanting to try making chicken fajitas for a long time! Thank you so much!
I'm glad i found you on TH-cam I'm making these tonight with your Guacamole recipe, & some Pico Degallo I'm excited. oh and extra chicken with Cilantro lime rice ..yummy

Hello there! Thank you for sharing. I’m glad to know you loved the recipe.
Pro-tip: Make a bigger batch of the marinade (like X4 or X6 the size specified) and put it in a mason jar in your fridge. And if you aren't going to marinade for at least 2 hours, don't bother, make something else that night. I like about an 8 hour marinade myself.
So the marinade will last in fridge for about a year?
or.... you could pour the marinad on and stick in fridge for maybe 30 minutes. soaks up flavor faster when u chill it
Perfect for it to soak in 😊
After cooking this I did a taste test. I doubled the marinade spices at the last minute for the same amount of chicken and veggies to get a little extra boost on the flavor and added a little mesquite seasoning to get a little more “grilled” kick. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’m taking your word for it and making 5 times the batch, thank you stranger 🫡

I followed this recipe for a family dinner party, OMG!! everyone was talking about it all night. It was the BEST fajita I've ever tasted.
I'm a really good cook, but I have never found a mix or a marinade that actually made my chicken taste the way I feel Fajitas should taste... UNTIL NOW.. THANK YOU SO MUCH
I tried this and my husband LOVES and I do mean LOVES it! Keeper in our house and uber easy! TY!

This marinade it out of this world. I marinated chicken and portobello mushrooms in this. cooked it on the grill. So yummy.
i always change up the order of how i make chicken fajitas and my main dilemma is always whether to cook the chicken whole or cut it into pieces. i definitely think this is the best way to do it because you achieve actual browning and better flavor! great method!

First-time cooking Spanish food, and it is so delicious!! My family loves it!! Thank you 👍
And it's cheap and easy and healthy. I'm a white dude that was introduced real Mexican food from the guys at work. Can't go back now
There's a HUGE difference between Spanish food and Mexican/Tex-Mex food. Don't confuse the two/three. Not even remotely the same.
Tried this fajita recipe tonight and it was fantastic!! We loved it so much! Thank you for sharing.
I’ve made this twice in the last couple of weeks. It is incredibly good. Thanks for sharing.
Rossana this was soooo good! The best part is that my chicken breast was not dry! Thank you!
