Only none food lover’s would pass up, villa cocina videos, this couple are outstanding. They knock out of the park, with all their recipes. As always, thank you,for sharing all your wonderful videos.
I made these fajitas exactly by your very detailed directions. These are the VERY BEST fajitas EVER - and I've had fajitas from Texas to California. This scores a 10/10! I used to believe the best fajitas were from a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in San Antonio, TX - not anymore! Yours are the BEST! Thank you for sharing - I will never order fajitas in a restaurant again. Now I can't wait to try more of your wonderful dishes. Thank You again Rosa!
I would consider myself a rather novice cook, but I really wanted to try something outside of my comfort zone. I found this video and followed it closely - the result was amazing! Tasted so delicious, and I give you my thanks for this great recipe and easy to follow video! You're my go to now!
Rossana! I must say! We made these fajitas tonight, and I told my wife: I love watching and hearing those Fajitas coming to our table, but never enjoyed them like I enjoyed them tonight! I was always disappointed when I ordered them at a restaurant. I almost couldn't stop eating them this time. This is another keeper for us! You are "The Best" and thank you for sharing your tasty recipes!!! Loved, loved, loved! and thank you Nelson for the great video!
"Easy peasy!" I haven't heard that in years. The meat is gorgeous! And this sounds just marvelous. What a great dinner when friends stop by. Thanks for sharing.
Ahhhh....beautiful video and presentation. Not just use but I dont open most of the new shorts videos. Those have pretty much been a waste of my time. Again, not just you guys. I guess You Tube is pushing it. With the flood of long winded ads I'm almost done with You tube itself. Loved this and love you guys. You are a treasure. God bless all here.
They look absolutely delicious. I’ll have to tweak the recipe because my sons and I are badly allergic to all types of mustard. Anyone have a suggestion what to use instead of the mustard in the marinade? Thanks for sharing.
I made this recipe for my wife. It was tasty. Thank you! Next time I will buy some different beef than I bought. It will be even better! Thanks again. :)
Greetings from East Texas! I don’t know how I missed this video 😵💫. So NOW I know what I have been doing WRONG when I have tried to make fajitas!!! THANK YOU so much for sharing this recipe 🥰
We all love this this is how I got my son to eat his vegg he is too funny he tried it and love it I think you have to keep trying to get them too eat them. this is why I was looking for a good cook my Son loves this food thank God I found you. may be there can be better but I did try and here I am Thank you God Bless. 🙏
Definitely going to check out the marinade. My wife won't eat anything that isn't well done. My kids and I are fine having it medium rare so I can understand Nelson.
Hi !! Villa Cocina Happy Sunday 😊 Those Fujitas is everything they looked delicious 😋 Nelson is loving ❤️ your cooking. I am glad Nelson is feeling much better. I will be trying this recipe and I will definitely let you know how they came out . I am now on my weight journey so this will definitely make this . Thank you for sharing my friend good night God bless sweet dreams . 🙌🙌🙏🙏🌼🌼🌼🌼🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
1st time sub here. Nelson is totally in the Zone 😊 he doesn’t have to say a word, it speaks for itself, your food is the Bomb 😊 Frm Salinas, Ca ❤ Blessings
this looks incredible. I have to say though that looked more like 2 Tablespoons of onion powder than a teaspoon. I need to make this in the next few weeks
I will and I will use chicken breast like you taught me in your chicken fajita video although I am tempted to use the thighs since all of your videos and suggestions are extraordinary
Umm wait.. Did you join the two meats together?? Mind Blown!!! lol These Fajitas looked AMAZING!!!! And here I am, waiting for my Vietnamese to be delivered lol
Looked very tasty. I was just curious the authentic fajitas that I have seen made in the restaurants. I spoke to some of the people that run the restaurant and they tell me that they put vodka or something like it some type of alcohol on the fajitas man I’ll be vodka, but it isn’t some sort of alcohol and I didn’t know that that was done either, but they say the alcohol burns off, but they use it for the flavor. Do you know anything about that?
When alcohol is added, I've mainly seen tequila used. A common version is tequila, lime and orange - basically Margarita Fajitas. Tequila brands have different tastes, so pick your favorite and adjust strength accordingly. Vodka has practically no flavor, so that sounds kinda boring. And yes, most of the alcohol burns off, but not 100%.
I personally haven't used alcohol in fajitas but it can be done. Yes, it's mainly used for the flavor. Fun fact: it can also be added to desserts. @kinda blue: thanks for the help.
How do you make your kitchen gear choices? Seems like most of what you have is the good stuff...is that good stuff knowledge from your culinary schooling or just from common sense knowing what you prefer? Back in the day of filling up my kitchen drawers and cabinets, I always made sure I bought 18/8 or 18/10 gauge stainless tools etc. because they had "forever to function" built into them. Also made similar choices with other types of cookware and gadgets...heavy stainless and quality stainless from long term old manufacturers. Then, I discovered Vitamix ! Had to have it and never complained since it took 50% of one of my paychecks at the time. LOL
I'm in Arizona and this sets off my smoke detectors! ARRGHH! I go to a local Mexican food restaurant to keep the fire department away from my house, but they use soy sauce in their fajitas! What is that about?! I love your recipe and will use it as our new family favorite!
I screwed up n cut my steak into strips first.... As i cooked them i thought NO DUMMY SEAR WHOLE THEN CUT... THEN I WATCHED UR VID.. Came out good but i will sear steaks whole next time.. Duh me.. I knew better..but....
Love my Staub pans. I don’t mean to beat you up but why the gloves when you could just wash your hands. Plastic pollution is a real issue. Could you serve crème and sliced avocado with this or is that more of a american thing?
Made this last night, amazing! I will never buy store bought marinade again. This channel is my go-to for authentic Mexican.
Glad you enjoy it!

Of course! I would add all of the above.
You can serve with a side of salad, beans and rice as well.

Pretty much I go for brands I have used during my culinary careers. Also depends on what I’m using it for. By the way! I love vitamix.
Going To start Cooking More Need rice and Beans on the side

Was that Dijon Mustard or Spicy Brown?
Where you from hun?
Was born in Mexico
@@VillaCocina sounds nice. What part of Mexico hun?
Great job with your beautiful fajitas! Remind Nelson he is a lucky man.
Do you tenderize your skirt steak?
I screwed up n cut my steak into strips first.... As i cooked them i thought NO DUMMY SEAR WHOLE THEN CUT...
THEN I WATCHED UR VID.. Came out good but i will sear steaks whole next time.. Duh me.. I knew better..but....
Can you grill? I guess if you grill it, becomes carne asada
You can definitely grill!
She’s cute
Olive oil, first mistake and last second of the video I saw, fajitas are not made with olive oil.
Love my Staub pans. I don’t mean to beat you up but why the gloves when you could just wash your hands. Plastic pollution is a real issue. Could you serve crème and sliced avocado with this or is that more of a american thing?
You can serve with cream and avocado, maybe a little salsa.
Another option: serve as an entree, with rice beans and a salad.
