    As for a descending type bike. I don't know why manufacturers still put 170 or 175mm cranks on their bikes. Bikes are so low shorter is better. Even if you are a tall person shorter cranks are better. There is virtually no power difference in pedaling between different size cranks. And It's been proven.

      But there are difference in body positions idk but some riders like Paul Aston tried them out. It’s not about pedaling it’s about how you stand in the bike descending

    Built up a custom c90-ish and whoosh, it rips. Hoping to slap a 40 on it next year and have it be full DH race mode and see how it handles.

    Bike looks awesome! I cant justify having a park specific bike as I dont visit a bike park that often.
    Things I would do to my bike to suit the bikepark:
    -Change to mullet with a strong 27.5 wheel.
    -change spring from 500 to 550
    -Put beefier tyres on.
    -Remove the gears and dropperpost.

    Hi there - a question - do you know by any chance if the carbon frames of the Slayer are also compatible with dual crown fork with 200mm travel?

  • @sftjoe
    @sftjoe 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I been debating on a single crown slayer or double crown(boxxer) park model

    Slapped a Super Deluxe Air on mine with a Renthal 30mm bar and Spank 45mm stem. Threw the 220mm rotor out back because nobody needs the extra power up front. Been a blast all summer.

    Just bought a A30 (Not park) and can't wait to rip when winter in Alberta finally ends lol. Just curious, what size water bottle do you have on there?

      @freezydmx7820 if you want to go second hand (correct option) make sure the seller is willing to meet you at a bike shop to have them see if the frame is worn-out or cracked. ESPECIALLY in that price range

      I hear ya I can’t believe it’s that much it’s not even spec out that good. I love the bike. But YT has a sale on their YT TUES for 3500. You get really good value parts XO1 drivetrain code rsc brakes and Ohlins suspension. It’s insane
