I bought my first Slayer, it will arrive in a few days and I have high expectations, after using heavy downhill bikes I think it will be fabulous, good job, regards
Always makes my day seeing you shred like that. Are you testing the SC Nomad V6 anytime soon? I would be so interested in your opinion about it. Cheers
Hi! How tall are you? Currently looking at a Bronson in L but also considering Slayer in M according to size charts and the MX setup. First time seeing your channel. Amazing! Detailed review while ripping through a trail is astonishing.
Great review as always! I had a previous gen Slayer and regret selling it now. Not sure whats up with the gopro setup this video but noticed a ton of jerking either due to the horizon leveling or gimbal? Also, I personally wouldn't recommend a 180mm free ride bike to a beginner, lol. Great riding as always though ❤
Big brain: all modern bikes are "good." What they offer is different flavors to tailor the experience to your tastes and also different budget constraints. Even costco sells Intense bikes now, so even what used to be a red flag (purchasing from Costco or walmart) is still a relatively "good" bike. Just maybe not the bike you want. The reviewers style is simply not to say x is bad or y is good. But rather to say x tastes like this, it's up to you to decide if that is your preferred flavor given your budget. Which is a lot better way to review bikes rather than saying the bike sucks because you have different preferences.
@@thicccboyztv your point well taken and a very practical perspective. I guess where I was coming from is that if someone is truly using these reviews, which are great, as a buyers guide of sorts, it is hard to know if the Slayer or Shadow Cat is better at climbing or any other aspect. Some perspective during a review isn’t saying bad or good, but can be helpful. All that being said, I look forward to any of his content. Super fun to watch and listen. I still don’t know how he is so articulate while riding at that pace. 🤯
@@johnsospencer you did mention that you were over 200 pounds. You ride like you are a crisp 150! Would be cool to have a follow cam some day during a review. Hard part would be finding someone to keep up.
As I recall the Spire felt like it had a longer wheel base, I remember having to straighten out corners a bit with the Spire. This medium Slayer was a bit more nimble. The climbing position felt similar. The Slayer was a pretty soft ride. It's been too long since I've ridden the spire to get more detailed than that.
damn, the footage is rough this go around. Seems like the camera is pointed to upward and that rotation like its on a gimbal also isn't my cup of tea. But hey, of course I'm only a drop in the ocean!
Forbidden Dreadnought please. Your reviews are amazing!
Best reviews on TH-cam, too bad they don't release them more often.
That was amazing riding while reviewing a bike out loud, dang!
Great review, sounds like they have that build dialed. I used to have a rocky mountain altitude and man did they descend great in the tech
Upgrading to this in black from My Altitude!!!! CANNOT WAIT
Whadda ya reckon bud?

Always fantastic vids !
I'd love it if you could review both the Revel 29" and (especially!) their 27.5".
Please review Santa Cruz nomad 😎

great review as usual...was it me or did that bike sound loud ?
Shimano pad fin rattle.
The dry trails seem to slap the bikes around a bit more, but that's a benefit of these reviews is that you can hear exactly what it sounds like.
Please review the ibis HD6!!
这个视角非常好,也希望你可以测试我们所生产的车架
Would be cool to review the Marin alpine trail, please Sir?
Love the ride
how tall are you mate?
how tall is the rider?
This guy loves bikes and is quite good. But I’ve never heard him say a bad word about any bike he has tested. Kinda odd. But fun videos to watch!

I do often complain about the drag associated with high pivot bikes. That's kind of a deal breaker for a heavy guy like me that likes to pedal.

Seriously, on the slash review you can hear the bike just chunking on every bit of compression and nothing is said about it
How tall are you
Did you had to swap the coil springs due to rider weight?
I have been debating on a slayer park or regular slayer what is you guys opinion on this.
Ibis HD6??? 😁👌
My new bike
Always hear great things about rocky's but they're not my favorite looking bikes if that counts for anything. Good review.
Yeah I likes the older red and white colour scheme.
The new ones are eh
Great review! Curious how you’d compare this to the spire?

Spring rate?
size Medium?! for you?!

This bike is for a guy who already has a trail bike. 👍🏼
I didnt like this new camera angle.
how dented is the rear rim?

The camera somehow tilted up when I dropped in. I fixed it after a half mile of riding. I agree that angle kind of sucks!
