10 exercises to improve your bench? 1. Lat pulldown 2. T-bar row 3. Lateral raises 4. Rear delt work 5. Close grip bench 6. Tricep extensions 7. Tricep pushdown 8. JM press 9. Benching using accomodating resistance 10. Board presses Why upperback and side delt work? Because you need a solid foundation to stabilise the shoulder(blades) to avoid injury. Why focus on the triceps? Because strong triceps save not only your rotator cuffs, but also your pecs Why do slow eccentrics anyhow? They, in combination with pauses, KILL your stretchreflex. "Faster down, faster up".
I like 7, 5, 9 (using rings especially), and 1 (I will just do 15-45 second pauses 1-2 inches off the chest though). Dips and military press/OHP never really did anything for me. I have always been pretty decent at dips though. I think I am actually better at dips than benching, but I did not seem to get any carryover so I just stopped doing dips very often. Good video, don't swim in that river in Paris.

I agree, Dane. 3x10 is a terrible set and rep scheme.
3 x 10 - 12 is good for hypertrophy though, but by design bad for strength
Dips baby!!! My favorite exercise!
3s10r is a terrible scheme as a main exercise but it can be useful in accessories
Nice 👍
Thank you verymuch.
👍🙏💪🌹♥️♥️♥️🌷🌠💫🌌😘

Why no upper back exercises?
probably a pullup or row
@@TJSHoopsthe question was WHY, not "which exercises should I use"
@user-zo.... Because Dane has no clue what he's talking about
