Have 3 ..robbed twice with all types of alarms cameras etc...haven't had any issues since we brought cane Corsos home...have 4 grandkids they are great with friends no so with the uninvited
Here is a "fun" Cane Corso fact. The Romans would strap burning cauldrons of oil to their backs and trained them to charge at castle gates during sieges.
If only you wouldn’t chop the tail & ears! Imagine if we chopped off our ears? As for chopping off their tail- I’ll never understand why you would ever do that to the dog’s spine.
It's actually not done for appearances, but to protect the dog from having those parts ripped off or gravely injured in a fight. I've heard breeders say they've seen littermates rip an ear off of a sibling during play because of how powerful these dogs are. Many guardian breeds find themselves fighting wolves and coyotes that will absolutely not hesitate to bite either part of the dogs' bodies so cropping them takes away that advantage. I'm not saying I entirely agree with the practice, but these are the reasons this has been traditionally done.
Did you know that a cane Corso is a mongrel dog in most of the world, only recognized in USA and Italy and that's recently too. A farm utility breed truly that's now used as guardians and companions is the truth about the truth
Nothing says protector like a Cane Corso. Glad the breed is still here in the world.❤

Cane is pronounced [KAH-nay]. It's Latin, not German.
It Pronounced "KAH-NAY" Corso, Not "🦯 Cane" 🤦🏿♂️.
Don’t be mean I say it cane to it does not matter
Yes it does you sound dumb saying it the wrong way
@@InhalertodocBatesYes it does, it’s like saying England “En” “Gland”
Thanks, I was coming here to see if anyone else had mentioned this

Vanity of the owner. I have Pitbulls and have never cropped their ears or tails. 💜
@@DeLayneJoseph1104 Right, they disable their dogs for vanity. Glad you don’t do that. 🩵🩵🩵
Ears absolutely inappropriate but the tail is a whole different story they chop off the tail so it does not break things

Mostly to keep them from getting badly injured and what not like the African borbeols they get cropped so baboons don't kill em
But they slobber a lot. And they're very territorial. So any uncles friends coming over to the house you got to watch out.
No they don't
You have to get a well bred Corso with no boxer in its bloodline
I have one it’s in my profile and my videos
Did you know that a cane Corso is a mongrel dog in most of the world, only recognized in USA and Italy and that's recently too. A farm utility breed truly that's now used as guardians and companions is the truth about the truth
The dog breed is pronounced "Can-neh" corso, not cane corso. If you're going to make a video on the dog, at least learn to say its name correctly!
Thank you finally someone who understands
the pronounce of “cane” is wrong, please correct. It’s an italian word….
Not even pronounced properly 98% of the time, good dogs but I’ll take a Boerboel instead
There no French mastiff
Rottweiler's also come from Italy.
Southern Germany
Keep my name out yo mouth..lol
Pronounce it correctly...
Cane corso or Rottweiler in fight, who wins ?
Corso if the rotweiler is a threat to the family rotweiler if there puppies are in danger
Just stop pronouncing improperly..please..
Ka neh. Not cane
it s not kein corso ,but keyn korsho
Thankful the breed was saved from extinction
