@Rulya Mórrigan Ard Mhacha I've always loved Dogo Argentino's, but they're banned where I'm from as they're deemed dangerous 🙄. What is your dogo's temperament like?
I was blessed to have a Cane Corso/Bordeaux mix for 13 years. “Best friend” is an insult as the amount of love and support he provided is unmatched. (I’ve got PTSD) It’s been 2 years since his passing and I’m ready. Maybe a female this time. Let’s see. Good vibes.
Bruce is absolutely beautiful. We have our 2nd Cane Corso now. We socialized him right from the beginning by taking him to Lowe's, Home Depot, and the veterinarian's office just to hang out so he would be comfortable there when he needed treatment. It worked like a charm and he thinks it's social time whenever we go for checkups. With our first, we didn't take him anywhere until after he had all of his shots and that was a mistake. He was great with people as long as he sensed that we were ok with him, but he quickly became intolerant of other dogs and ended up getting expelled from daycare. Even so, he was the best fur-baby. We lost him to bone cancer and miss him every day, but we love our new guy just as much. New owners should be prepared though, you will have something the size of a person glued to you no matter what you are trying to do! ❤😆

Thank you for all the advise. For 12 yrs I had a staffordshire, and when he had gotten sick I took him to the vet and ran into one of the beauties. I instantly fell in love. Though I'm not ready for another pup at the moment. This is my next pick. Still researching all about them.
Our 4 year old Cane Corso is great with tiny dogs, grandkids, and friends. He’s a smiler too. He always smiles when he sees us, which makes him sneeze. He’s like the 7th grandkid 😄
The reason their joints grow so fast before the rest of their bodies is to make the joints strong so they’re able to handle the weight of their bodies. It’s true that you shouldn’t over exercise, BUT make sure they are getting exercise, like he said with letting them chase butterflies. Also stairs are probably ok if it’s not like 2 flights a day. Good for them to strengthen their joints!
You are the only person I want to trust with giving me information thank you for not being criptic and saving the rest for a paywall I've just gotten a 12 week old female she was left last due to her having a umbilical hernia 😭
This guy is right! I've done everything what he saying and my cane Corso got joint problem. I've spending £150 a month only for joints issue and dig still suffer. I wish to know this before what I know now . people put dogs to sleep when they have joints problem this is not fair because them dogs ale most clever dogs in the world.
I’ve been dealing with the death of my past dog for 4 years now, and I’m just really intimidated and afraid that I may be an incompetent owner. But thanks to you my man I have the motivation!🤙 thanks
This is the best video I ever watched about dog care. My dog was around for 16 years of utter joy!!! So many people get dogs and they don’t understand what they need to do for them!!! ❤❤❤
I show this to all my friends that decide to get any big dog. Full of good information! Currently have 2 australian shepherds a 80lb pit lab mix and english mastiff pup
I love how you stress socialization. We have a 110-lb male 3 year old american bulldog and he is an angel of a dog all the time, and I swear it's because we socialized him *to no end* for the first 6 months of his life. When it comes down to it - if people are too lazy or busy or tired to socialize their puppy (especially large breed dogs) PLEASE please do not get a dog in the first place.
got my two brothers almost 3 months ago at 8 weeks old. Love the content. Sirius and Apollo. theses two are 100% home protectors. and at 92 and 86 lbs they also make great blankets
seriously one of the best cane corso videos i have found. i have been trying to consume myself with knowledge on these beautiful animals. my fear is that i do something wrong during first year that causes me to have a bad and dangerous situation becaue there is surely no giving this type of dog to a pound. your video has put me at ease. yes lots of work to be put it but it's more intensive than it is anything else. thank you for caring about the breed and putting out helpful responsible videos.
I get my Kane Corso at the end of April the mom just had a liter of 12 pups I'm getting a male and can't wait. Thanks for posting all the information about this breed Bruce Wayne is a beautiful dog.
Excellent advice!! Thank you. Right now I have an American Bully we rescued. One day we will would love to have a Cane Corso. I'm soaking up all the information possible for that time. ❤ you Bruce Wayne.
I’ve watched videos about this stuff before and to be honest I never really used any of the advice given for my pitbull/lab and she turned out perfectly fine She’s probably the kindest dog you’ll ever meet.
One small thing I'd add about feeding a puppy raw. Cane Corso and other big breeds need a LOT of food and I'd split the portion size into 3-4 meals, it'll be easier to digest so much food. I am planning to get a rottweiler puppy in the future and a raw-fed rottweiler puppy needs at least 1-1.2kg worth of food a day! : I have raised two dogs on a raw diet since puppyhood and my mom also considered to switch her dog to raw meat and it was great. Very nice points on fear and socialization! Great video!
Kristina Zlaya well another lesson we had our cane Corso on Stella & Chewy’s Raw dinner patties and she ended up getting a bacterial infection on her spine. Here she had a heart murmur that wasn’t detected by vet at check up. Internal Medicine vet stated low immune system and raw diet most likely was the cause of the bone lesions. My poor girl has been on antibiotics for 5 months already but radiographic images are showing improvement. ♥️🐾
Hi can I ask from your personal experience what were the pros of being on a raw diet ? I'm planning on switching to raw diet but from the research I've been doing there's a lot of conflict so not sure what to do . Thanks
My Cane corso has at least 1500 walking miles on her, I took her to the vet and they said she was perfect. We was homeless and walked from NYS to Florida. Now we walk 10-15 miles a day. My vet said it depends on the dog Idk why everyone says joint problems that can happen with any dog.
Yes. Life threw me for a loop. I lost my job my place to live and thought well no time like now to travel and find myself. Only thing I had was my Cc. Made sure we always had food. And started on a this long walked trip. Did some odd jobs along the way when I seen people. I had fishing license in almost every state. So we eat alot of fish and rice. Wild berries. Took almost year to do. Now we are back in NYS on to our next adventure.
I have one, she's a super lovey girl. The only dog that ALL four of my cats have reciprocated affection towards...because she is respectful of their space and gentle when she approaches them. She's definitely a Barker. She's proud of her guarding. She'll bark out the front livingroom window when she see's the neighbors coming home and she'll turn around to make sure that I'm listening to her....direct eye contact and Bam! Her little tail starts wagging. If I ignore her for four minutes, she stops barking and starts whining instead. She responds well to No Maam and Thankyou. She's a full fledged member of the family, so she sleeps on a bed, has her preferred chair in the living room and gets plenty of cuddle time. If cuddle time isn't sufficient, she will get in your face and whine lol....and some ear scratches, forehead rubs, stroking of the nose....is her favorite affection to receive.
Love Bruce Wayne and your vids! His looks and mannerisms reminds me so much of our brindle 10yo, Cane Corso, Sophie. The biggest cuddly bear and baby alongside our Shih tzu. So intelligent, loyal, loving, and beautiful. She also makes for a great guard dog, too 😁.
Socializing is so much more important than people think. I trained my aunt's pit bull when it was already 3 years old. Fortunately she was naturally a sweetheart and loved people despite not having many interactions with anyone but the household. Usually at that age its hard to train them to behave differently from what they're used to.
Really good advice for guardian breeds and giant breeds. Really watch that weight, better to be slim and trim than pack up that extra 20 lbs. Socialize, socialize, socialize. Guardian breeds need it so much. We also didn't follow the vet's recommendation and I think the risk is really worth the reward. Don't forget to include people of all ages/shapes/sexes coming into your house too otherwise you may have a real problem when the guardian dog starts their adult job. I really worry about people having puppies right now. It would be so hard to do proper socialization.
@@javondaholmes2951 What sort of neighborhood do you have? I'd suggest lots of home depot where you can bring the dog in and see as many people as possible. They don't have to touch/pet the dog but the dog can see so many things. (the carts, forklifts, people in aprons)
I had to be the same way with my Great Dane when he was puppy , He loved being around family couldn’t leave him outside for more than 10 secs , he was the sweetest thing ever , just like Bruce , but I’m thinking about getting a Cane Corso myself . But overall your channel is so dope , and I love your family. 🤘🏿🔥❤️
I truelly believe the socializing, we have a male that loves everyone he’s known since he was a puppy. Strangers he wants to eat. Thank god he loves kids! Literally bows down to them and is submissive.
I rescued a cane corso/rottie female without really knowing what she was or much about her breed. She is 10 now, and I have never had such a deep relationship with an animal before. She understands what I say to her and she guards me like I am the queen. She is not real socialized, but neither am I.
Just got a Rotticorso pup a few weeks ago - thank you for the knowledge, especially about the first one. Can confirm on the last one though, she is a big suck that always whines to cuddles on the couch haha😁 She just sits there too and stares at us until we bring on the couch and she's content again lol, so sweet
I just got a cane corso puppy. i have been trying to monitor her exercise but she is just so energetic! I turn my back and she's already on the couch. When I can I stop her but sometimes she's just so fast she's already jumped up and off of things before i even know it. I have been reading about the exercise limitations. And I'm so nervous she will cause damage to her joints. She also plays with my other dog (boxer) and jumps and get rambunctious which also has me nervous. I also monitor this and separate them when I feel she is doing too much. I guess I am just trying to walk the line between letting her be a puppy and have fun but also not let her over do it and cause injury. it's not easy!!! But your channel has been very informative and I appreciate the knowledge and experience you have shared.
Everyone told me that a CC is too much as a first dog. I believe it has to do with your own personality. I'm an assertive stable person. My first dog was a Cane corso and my second a great Dane.
Ja Z binx how is he or she?? I’m thinking of getting one literally by tonight do u think a cane corso is a good idea for first timers?? I have walked and taken care of grown German shepherd and poddle lol but never really owned a dog of my own is that even good enough??

@@linaaa3135 In my country there are age restrictions for such dogs. I had to be at least 21 years old to register one to my name. You should check your laws and regulations. Unfortunately Cane Corsos are getting banned one country at a time. You're not allowed to breed them anymore in Austria for example. You're not allowed to own one in UK and UAE if they are born after 2015 or something. If you don't know if you could handle a guard dog breed and you need to ask on TH-cam for advice, I'd say you're not ready. Double check everything. Being responsible for any dog and binding yourself for at least 10 years+ in such a relationship is a big step and shouldn't be decided within 1 day.
Fantastic video! Felt u gave a very honest n informative factors to consider BEFORE seriously deciding to own a Cane Corso. Seen other videos on Cane Corsos, but this video is truly thought provoking ! Thanks for this video.
thx for this info! had no idea owners could damage their large dogs this way. my mastiff has early hip dysplasia and hearing the things you discussed as causes this explains his problems. :(
i really injoy your videos am working with a profesional trainer for my golden retriever to be a service dog so i can take her to see my buddys a va hospital thanks
We. Have 2 Cane Corso’s and our youngest grew fast and was slim. We couldn’t cut back on his intake, but he developed Wobblers at 8 months old. He lost all control of his back legs. This is a large breed or if the dogs grows to fast. After an 11hour surgery he is amazing and luckily he is great. Our dogs are so wonderful. They love to be snuggled and loved all day-120lbs and 115lbs. They are such loves He is right -if you train your dog, people you see will be less intimidated and be able to see the mush they are!!!
My Husband would be so jealous knowing he jumps up and down when you come home. Our little Maltese ( Just passed in Jan) couldn't care less when he came home, he'd be like " Oh that's you...ok." but for me...he would jump for as long as his little old self allowed, he was 18. They have a great relationship in other ways, cookies, treats, and potty breaks and yes, we do see the difference when both are home. He sleeps and relaxes more.
One thing a lot of people do with their dogs is attach a gopro harness to their dog and leave the house for half an hour to see what their dogs would do when they're home alone. Curious to see what Bruce would do home alone.
Jason maybe I'm not seeing them or u didn't post any, love to see Bruce Wayne as a pup, and pictures even videos. Intrigued in deed. Stay safe and Beautiful and hope yr feeling good. U seem happier than a year ago, and we're happy u 3 Are in our lives..
Very informative ty , I'll be picking up a femle Cane Corso at 8wks. I plane to be a balanced pet owner, I've heard too much affection will cause them to feel as if they are the pack leader!
I am just watching different Cane Corso videos because I will be getting a female cane corso puppy on June 8th! She is cream colored and we are going to name her Bella! Also, the breeder said that she was on a certain diet anyways,I believe we will be ready for her since I have a male dog who is 75 percent Olde English Bulldog 25 percent Pitbull. TL;DR we are getting a female Cane Corso puppy and naming her Bella.
I started watching your videos, and a ton of dog videos just to keep my mind focused on being a good trainer as I raise my American Straffordshire/ Pitbull Terrier. Whats funny is my puppy looks like your dog, and both of them are named Bruce
How do Cane Corsos typically do in a multi dog situation? We currently have a very laid back Black Lab and a very fun, but laid back cat. Would a Cane Corso be a good match for us? We are very involved with our dogs, pretty much everything you went over in this video is something I already incorporate in myself.
Yeah we just had an English Mastiff blue pit it was 10 years old he just died in February. So we rushed into it and left to say and got a Cane Corso puppy about 10 to 12 weeks old. Let me tellyou Italian Mastiffs are not the same as an English...at all.. they might look similar.. but total different dog.. my hands are full.. the temperament is.. there seems to be nobody in there she has blank stares.. I'm basically in fear thinking she's like this because of how the breeder treated her.. I'm trying to figure out she's a little bit too much for me right now. She's already 40 lb.. my chihuahua does not like her.. she actually goes after her and she's only 7 lbs.lol my husband has patience I do not. He is gone all day he's only with her a few hours.. everyday cuz he's working. I'm home with her all day long. Right now we're in the middle of a virus.. cannot take her anywhere but I walk down the street. We have a huge yard and chickens.. she has not tried to harm them. I heard this breed changes and.. I've already seen her little mood swings.. not tolerating it.. she's very quick.. they are not lazy like the English Mastiff.. very high energy.. I know we'll be okay.. we were grieving and we jumped the gun.. took me a few weeks to bond with her...as I miss my 200lb.baby horse.my therapy dog is gone. Will be okay..she will to ..til it kills me... This is a very powerful breed she needs to learn to listen..I'm using an empty egg carton and I smashed it against my thigh.. I know it sounds weird but it works.. we love all dogs.. had them for years.. we know what we're doing and if we don't we will learn.. and we're not cutting her ears. Don't make the mistake of thinking all Mastiffs are the same... .
I've been looking at large and extra large dog breeds to get for a long time but this is the first time I've realized how big these can truly be, look at this head covering so much of this guy's torso.
Great video, thanks for all of your knowledge on the Cane Corso. Love Bruce Wayne I see him on Instagram. ❤️🤗🐾 I too was told not to bring my Corso around people or other dogs until he had all his shots and I did listen and it wasn't good.
These dogs are beautiful - they remind me of a black panther walking. A man lived upstairs where we once lived. My sister was terrified of him and he barked at her a lot. When I saw him and I was with my dog (red nose pitbull) which pitbulls look like midgets next to them, he just looked at me, no barking. I wonder if he associated my sister with her cats. As I said these dogs are very beautiful, I have owned four pit bulls in my lifetime (I am 70 yrs old) but I do take heed to what's being said of the raising of type of dog and I really think I would be lost trying to do what's right and I would be afraid I would do the dog more harm than good. My dog passed away last July and he was the greatest thing I ever had. JuJu was 14 years and 12 days old.

WOW! You Sir brought the greatest advice!!! This needs to be followed by every Dog Owner!
You are the only person I want to trust with giving me information thank you for not being criptic and saving the rest for a paywall I've just gotten a 12 week old female she was left last due to her having a umbilical hernia 😭
I recently got my first cane corso and absolutely adore her.. I have been watching your videos non stop ever since..
Sorry dude 🥺
@@jasoncorey i had to put mine down a few days ago 😪
Sorry for your loss.
At 18 months you’re right he has free reign!! That big boy can do whatever he wants to do! And he will! 🥶😳
P.S. LOVE HIS FACE! ♥️♥️♥️
got my two brothers almost 3 months ago at 8 weeks old.
I’m going to be getting my Cane Corso soon. I’ve been researching for a while and your videos are helpful! Thank you!
Did you get one yet?
@@ryhaang Not yet, I’m saving up my funds and waiting on the right time 😩☺️
…you can tell this dog is so loved- and you are so knowledgeable- thank you for this-
Bruce’s behavior tells us that you have a beautiful soul
Bruce is a ABSOLUTELY AMAZING looking Corso ...I'll be getting my 1st Corso in about 6wks so keep the vids coming I'll greatly appreciate it 😎
Hey you ever hey you ever get your pup yet?
@@Florida_954 yes I did
This is a very very informative and important episode for all potential Corso parents! Loads of love for Bruce Wayne & his Family ❤️
I’ve watched videos about this stuff before and to be honest I never really used any of the advice given for my pitbull/lab and she turned out perfectly fine
She’s probably the kindest dog you’ll ever meet.
Sorry dude but a pitbull/lab IS NOT a Cane Corso. Much much much different traits.
I have raised two dogs on a raw diet since puppyhood and my mom also considered to switch her dog to raw meat and it was great.
Thanks
Not true
Dude you are such a sweet person the way you talk about this dog makes me emotional lol that dog is in such good hands 🥺🥺😩
From NY to Florida?
You were homeless with a Cane Corso??
Incredible
@@adventure2bcorp Sorry, hope things get better for you. :)
A dog that loves cuddles... well its a pretty big sacrifice but I think I can spare some for him :D
You are perfect dog owner my friend. You seem like a calm and collected person. I really enjoying watching your videos even though I dont have a dog.
I’m getting one tomrrow and I’m scared cause of covid
@@javondaholmes2951 What sort of neighborhood do you have? I'd suggest lots of home depot where you can bring the dog in and see as many people as possible. They don't have to touch/pet the dog but the dog can see so many things. (the carts, forklifts, people in aprons)
Excited to see more videos bro :) Dropping knowledge bombs!
I have a few more planned out.....hopefully I can get to them soon.
You are so right about this dog, my lad is 9 months old now’ an I’ve done everything myself an my boy is so good now.
I listened to every word you said but never took my eyes off that beautiful pup ❤
You can't go wrong with any of the Mastiff family.
I just got a cane corso puppy and she is so cute! She like me so much and when I let her alone she cry so loud!Thx for the tips.
Thank you for this video,
I would not be a good Cane Corso person
But they are positively beautiful. We need more owners like you in this world
Cuddles are as important as breathing for our Cane Corso - so much love there...
I truelly believe the socializing, we have a male that loves everyone he’s known since he was a puppy. Strangers he wants to eat. Thank god he loves kids! Literally bows down to them and is submissive.
SO glad you're back..(well we see you on Kara's channel) but you're back!! LOVE BW for sure...and still miss Winston :((

Bruce's soft grumble in the background almost lulled me to sleep. It's relaxing and oddly comforting. ☺️😴
Cane Corso are my favorite! Unfortunately, I might not be ready for one as my first pup. 😔
No go with something else first and when the time is right then get a Corso

You are so great with him and you are both so lucky to have each other🥰 what a beautiful dog 💕
I used to work with someone that had a Great Dane puppy and I would cringe at what she was having it do :(
Bruce Wayne is the cutest 💗

my dad wants a cane corso. at first i was scared of them biting but now there just little sweet hearts if u train them correctly
My jack russle honestly isn't even afraid of anything 😂
Thanks for the tips, just got 2 of them. male and female, 8 weeks old.
"Let them love you" meanwhile my dog has just jammed her nose in my slipper an knocked it off just enough so she can lick my foot LOL
Great video, you’re a great owner. I can tell you care well for him and I know he will continue to thrive with you guys. 👍🏽
i really injoy your videos am working with a profesional trainer for my golden retriever to be a service dog so i can take her to see my buddys a va hospital thanks
I breed English Labradors and I can agree this is fantastic advice for all breeds. Thank you for sharing
Hey man...I`m a reptile/amphibian guy and totally hooked on your videos. Why? Because we both love animals and try to teach. Great job brother
OMG! What a lover. He was an adorable puppy.
Lol he would probably spend the 30 minutes trying to get the GoPro harness off himself 🤣
What a beautiful dog. Thanks for the info.
My sister got one and I wasn’t with him for two days and I came back and he was so happy
Thank you, your advice is good for all kinds of large breeds.
Your more than welcome Julie. I have to keep reminding my wife how much he costs to just feed everytime she says let's get a second. Lol
If I had someone to watch a dog until I retire, I’d start looking for a Cane right away. Beautiful.
My Cane Corso's name is Star. She is a very cute dog and I love her very much.
Jason, I need that new video you mentioned about convincing your spouse. Thanks in advance 😎
Jason Corey: Cane Corso
The subtitles: Connie Corso, Connie courses, Connie Courcelles, Connick horse show and my personal favorite; comic or so.
I highly appreciate all your videos. Your Corso is absolutely gorgeous and like the perfect model dog for what I want, great content brother.
Great video, thanks for all of your knowledge on the Cane Corso. Love Bruce Wayne I see him on Instagram. ❤️🤗🐾 I too was told not to bring my Corso around people or other dogs until he had all his shots and I did listen and it wasn't good.
What happened? Is yours aggressive towards people?
So true .my friend has one and he's nice and fearful 😄
I have a purebred Cane Corso. I’ve had her since before Christmas last year when she was 9 weeks old. Now she’s 10 months.
