Nostalgia is real
Many years ago, I introduced this movie to a pair of charming twins who had never seen a musical movie--they got it right away.
I visited the sites where the Sound of Music was filmed. In addition, I visited the Von Trapp family farm in Vermont. This movie will always be one of my favorites.
How beautiful is this movie?? I grow fonder of it with each passing year.
One of the top 10 movies or musicals of all time.
Fun fact: This scene was created as a montage so as to be a homage to the beauty that the town of Salzburg has to offer.

Not just for Julie and the kids. Irv Kostal, the movie's veteran conductor, showed a great sensitivity toward the kids, for which i don't think he ever got the full credit he should have. He never let the orchestra overpower the kids, and keyed its power to the kids' varying degrees of exuberance or sadness. For much of this song he ran at a moderate to high power, dropping to a lower rating through the do-mi-mi sequence. Then on the final round, Irv yanked out all the stops, running his brass section at full power.
Irv shared Julie's birthday, October 1. She was born in Walton-on-Thames, near London, in 1935, he in Chicago in 1911. Irv died in 1994.

If people read the Bible, and believe in God, life is going ,to have more quality ,and respect for each other .and prevent things that they are not pleasant .
I know; I remember a day like that!! Maybe I was young, and I did not watch the news much until my thirties, but those existed in my life….in my family, and in the people and happenings with me, and around me!! Of course, not perfect, we still had minor problems, and had to stand in safer and holier places, but those were most everywhere!! There was so much more safety, respect, happiness and even holiness too!!

If you only repent of and turn from your sin and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. All we can do is try to warn you with truth and love that every single person has broken his commandments and fallen into sin. The wages of sin is death. God will send you to hell for them even just one because we're not good none are good and holy like him. So please take the free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ he died and paid your debt in full so that you can have life everlasting. I love you! repent and believe the gospel truth! God loves you he doesn't want you to perish forever and be separated from him but God gave you the free will he gave you the option to choose him. But if you don't choose him you will be eternally separated from him and that separation is hell. Think of it this way if I'm wrong I don't lose anything at all. But if I'm right you have everything to lose suffering forever. Please think seriously about this. You know Jesus came into the world as a baby born in a manger it's Christmas time we've all heard the stories and we all know Jesus died for us but we don't know is our sin. We act like it isn't there but we do feel guilty for it but instead of conviction the world calls it our conscience. We have sin in us! Because we live in a fallen creation look at the world around you seriously! we're not good people !we think we're not bad people but the problem is we're judging man by man standards and God doesn't judge you by man standards he judges you buy his own and he is righteous and perfect and a just! God! and he will judge you on the last day! So please please know that I am earnestly speaking to you because I care for you and I don't wish that you should perish because God doesn't wish that you should perish but all come to repentance! 🙏🏻♥️
