I'm so glad you brought up the aroace sunny headcanon,, even if it's not what Tui intended for her character, it's still something that meant a lot to me, ever since I read The Brightest Night back in 2014.
I really like the aroace Sunny Headcanon too. It's a shame I think that Tui didn't confirm any characters as aro or ace during the interview, but I hope at least she knows how important it is to the fandom, and can consider it in the future in her books!

Here is a quick tip to hopefully help people that don’t like that there are humans and kinda think it takes away from it just being a series about dragons: try imagining them as something else like my friend imagined them as ferrets but you could imagine them as snakes, mice, or maybe even a creature you made up yourself and hopefully this will help you enjoy them a bit more
