- Another Bio Babbles video! If you stay until the end, there will be a very lolsy depiction of something that actually happened at the event-
As many of you all know, I love going to Wings of Fire events and meeting fans as well as talking with Tui herself! Last February I went to Boskone 2020 (a science fiction convention) and spent an entire weekend hanging out with Tui and my other friends, just chatting about Wings of Fire. What did we learn?
Well, A LOT since this video is 50 minutes :P That was also the event where Tui revealed for the very first time that Snowfall was the protagonist of The Dangerous Gift (Wings of Fire Book 14). I talk all about everything we learned here!
If you're interested in hearing about all the other "secret" Wings of Fire information that I learned at the other events, please comment/like this video to let me know! I have no idea if people are interested in this sort of stuff haha. A couple people told me I should make this video for people in the Wings of Fire TH-cam community since quite a few people here don't follow me on Deviantart where I shared the news previously. late to reply to this but - Glory does have power NOW, but while she was protagonist, she was just a nobody RainWing and nobody listened to her at all. She had to earn her power. Whereas Snowfall starts by ruling her tribe and she starts with the ability to order the IceWing army around. So while she's protagonist, she could cause a lot of damage :o Glory might have power now, but during her point of view she had no power at all.

I DEFINITELY think that Jerboa was the one who "broke" animus magic. In the prologue of book 13, Snowfall wanted Jerboa to expand the Great Ice Cliff, and Jerboa just said something like, "Maybe Pyrrhia needs a break from animus magic anyways." VERY suspicious...
Oh and I just thought of this on my own but I'm aware that it states this theory in the video.

Tui seems like a genuinely nice person! I would love to meet her one day as she's been a big inspiration, if it wasn't for me discovering Wing's of Fire I wouldn't be about to attend my first year of college as an art major because the series made me want to draw a lot when i discovered it 6 years ago. She also made me want to have writing as a past time. This book series brought back my love for fantasy and brought me out of a depression when I found it. I just have so much to thank her for!

For sure!! Honestly the funny thing about this video is that most of the actual conversation with Tui isnt even in here since it was just conversations about life and everything. I'm sure we'll all meet again someday! (Not as soon as I hoped due to covid and all but..ah well haha)

Luna's book should be centering around going to fight bad guys
Sundew's book centers around fantasizing about it
Cricket's book is trying to convince and learn about/ understand the opposing side
Blue thinks shout other dragons feel, so he's definitely an understanding
Snowfall's book is about the pantalan dragons coming to the other continent for help, but she also literally becomes the dragons for a bit. Kt's a mix, and I must say that I love it

Wow! This was a great video! I really loved getting to watch this and fact check from what I already knew about WoF, and i even learned a couple things that I didn’t know about tui herself. It was great to just hear tuis voice, I haven’t been able to go to a convention yet but I really want to. All these questions were funny and helpful since I want to become a writer, it really helped listening to tui talk about how she writes and the struggles she goes through. 😁
