@@Wimya I've got the same one, and from all the pictures I've seen, the hose coming from the PCV goes to the closest nipple on the catch can, you have yours going to the opposite one, so I was just curious.
@@CTGromer If you check out the UPR website (Ill post the link below) they run the lines exactly as I do. Since this is just a simple baffled catch can and not like a overflow tank, I don't think it matters. www.uprproducts.com/09-20-dodge-ram-5-7l-billet-oil-catch-can-z-mount/
@@CTGromer Thanks for the link Wimya, I was going to buy it from Amazon and they wanted $60 more, and yes it's not that sophisticated, either way will work it all depends on how anal you are about running the lines, just make sure you empty it when you do an oil change
It actually does matter which way the hoses go. Only the input will flow through the filter. Step 8 of the instructions talks about catch can flow direction.
You are talking pictures and I am talking theory of operation 🤦. I am not saying your hoses are wrong. In the video you said you were not sure if what hose goes where matters and letting someone who reads the comments know that it does.
This video was posted months ago, I have no idea what I said in it. But what your saying is my install is correct and you want people who are reading the comments to know that hose placement matters, and that they can go ahead and follow the video. Ok, got it. thanks!
No it’s not, It’s correct. Check the website for the 5.7 hemi & not the 392 they use for the instructions. www.uprproducts.com/09-20-dodge-ram-5-7l-billet-oil-catch-can-z-mount/
Thanks for this video bro helped me out a lot !
Glad to help!
I’m not certain, but I think you have the hoses crossed.

I sure can! I’m interested to see as well
How's it holding up

Go on UPR website and look at how the hoses are ran for the 5.7L Hemi

so what’s the hose that’s going from the oil cap into the intake?
Crank case vent hose
Nice. I think there is an "in" and "out" from what I have read. Thanks.
Where is the element that is supposed to be on the inside?
In the lid. It doesn’t go into the collection tank
Hooked the lines up incorrectly.
