Think of the car as a shoebox. When the top is on, its hard to twist or bend. Take the top off and it can easily twist. Take of the sides (such as when the doors are open) and the box collapses. Before anyone tries this watch other videos on cutting roofs and chop tops. You will want to reinforce the cars body by welding in temporary bar stock to prevent the body from twisting and buckling even a minor amount could jam your doors or trunk. After the top is cut off you will need to reinforce the body with bar stock. Reinforce front to back under the car and from driver side to passenger side behind the front seats and behind the rear seats (you may be able to do this in the trunk. Consider making this a 2 seater.

The line at which the C-Pillar was cut needs to be lower, where it aligns perfectly, and doesn't interfere with the door window frame. Checkout the Mercedes-Benz Ocean Drive Concept which was launched as the 5th Generation S-Class. The original concept was of a 4 door cabriolet. Not sure if it was a Pillarless design or it had B-Pillars.
