- I met a medium recently. A medium is someone who claims to be in contact with, or to be able to communicate with, dead people. Those in the afterlife. This wasn't a consultation, but the conversation led to what I felt was a really interesting writing experience...

I’ve had a past life regression and now I’m a firm believer. Also been in a mediumship circle on and off over the years, personally know without a shadow of a doubt there is life after physical death.
More recently attended a akashic record workshop and saw a glimpse of myself as a young woman who had abandoned her baby in the 1920s, I could understood that the baby in that life is now my son in this life, he abandoned me in this life when we was in his late teens! It’s all connected…mind blowing s..t for sure!
Fascinating stuff. Most of the universe is hidden. Who knows what the truth is...?
I do believe in this type of remembrance happening, like when I meet someone "new" and have a strong feeling that we have met before, I can't explain that feeling other than it comes from somewhere else, unknown.
Yes, it's strange when that happens.
This is a compelling description you have. Whatever it "is"or "means" it's valuable. And a mystery.

I'm a Christian, although not practising one. There is some correlation between the two, I suppose. I was in London for my 60th Birthday. Sadly my younger Brother had not long before passed with MND (ALS). We have a family photo of him, our sister and me taken in the early 1970s. We were in Trafalgar Square feeding the Pigeons as you could back then. My Brother went on to be a great fan of Dire Straits, and I know that spot well. In that spot on my birthday was a busker playing not only playing Dire Straits but also the song that they carried him out of the Church. That was spooky. I might make some time to give this a go.

in my religion we believe that we were all created ans stood before god, we were all shown the life we will have and we believe that we all saw each other's lives just as we saw ours then we made the choice to be born and go through this life we saw, this is why sometimes we see people we feel like we've met them before, we were friend at that time of our lives. so from my religion's perspective and my own i think these lives you saw are the lives of others that you met in that moment before your creation on earth, the women could be a soul you loved up there or a friend your soul felt separated from

My experience with a medium was a little more than 6 months ago now and I find myself finding her words and messages floating about when I need them. I will be trying this out, see what happens?

Yes, our brains and whatever is connected to them are capable of producing vivid artefacts. We use imagination to solve all sorts of real and imaginary problems. 😉
