The way you say "Miang" is much closer to the original Japanese than the other pronunciation you alternate with. The "n" is strongly implied to be a silent cue to nasalize the preceding vowel, but since we don't have anything much like that in English, changing it to "ng" is actually pretty ingenious on the localization's part. So much I want to say about this part in hindsight, but can't...such is this game! You're noticing more than I did about Wiseman. But you missed that he muttered something to himself before leaving. That's a conscious move no matter how you slice it.

You build AP for "Combos" by not attacking, or not using all of them each turn. I never had to resort to them, but it's a way to make sure all desired buffs/debuffs are active at the same time when you go for damage.
