Out of several years of listening to remakes of The Extreme, this has to be the only one that has done the original any justice. Thank you for understanding integrity and dynamics to music!
totally agree
I agree--perfectly captured.
Couldn't agree more. He even improved it in a few ways.
Agreed, the bad ass witch from the future deserved this
absolutely
Omg this has to be the best version of the extreme I've ever heard.
THAT INTRO IS SO EPIC
First time hearing this. Had headphones in. As soon as the metal hit, it was mad orgasm to my ears. If 8 is ever remade, Id want specifically this to be the final battle theme
Finally! I found a great remix of this song!
Mucha nostalgia me dan está canción.
A little piece I put together a few months ago. (Final Fantasy Tribute for the Re-release)
djsilverline69 exquisite
Oh wow. This is amazing...
One of the best FF’s boss theme 🎉
I'm so glad you made the intro bit actually tolerable with headphones. The actual one is like torture with headphones on lol
This version is freakin awesome
Ray..
This sounds incredible! Should most definitely be in the remake!
ASOMBROSO!!!!!!! 👍✌️💪🌹❤️
This is so BADASS!!
May the sun shine
This is a fantastic remix. Do you have a higher quality upload?
Not the first type of music I'd think of when having a final battle with a witch. But still sounds amazing either way
Its the perfect music for the last part of the final battle, it’s freakin creepy. She’s a time witch
this is where Grey is only ratios of black and white. and Grey speaks for itself.
The art that is Ultimicia
The beginning is so extremely uneasy
where you in silent Hill for that?
Can we have an High Quality version of this?
Good one.
Nice, heres a 10.

Quand un remake du 8?
Why is the category "pets and animals" lol
Good remix btw
Because fusioning with your G-force is a metaphor to petting your dog 🐶
Also, having Rinoa literally sic her dog on Ultimecia.
Artemisa*
i.m ultimecia not rinoa !!!
Rinoa is not Ultimecia.
lupina015 She was . . . more like a shell really.
MaCanatarry Saiyan yeah, they shared the same CGI model.
lupina015 It's a fan theory. It's neither proven nor dis-proven. Square remains silent on that topic.
Yeah, and then SE release Dissidia with Ultimecia wielding all of Rinoa's weapon, and said "Shall we dance?".
esckay 4fun Just teasing him on his beloved ones. SE is aware of those "fan theories" and the constant discussions/debates wich are STILL going on about them (after ... 10? years?).
Sephiroth's girlfriend
Squall is dead to me, it dosen't make sense when the story easily explains that he is not, but it's the most exciting alternate reality
Dude what the hell are you talking about? In a world where magic is an ordinary thing how could you not understand that his wound is really easy to heal? Edea healed Squall because she wants to know the meaning of Seeds. You either didn’t play the game or didn’t pay attention to the story. It’s all EXPLAINED in the beginning of second disk
@@dago8330 imagine a remake of ffviii, i would be happy to pay for it
@@dago8330 It's not so much just that part but the rest of the game takes a sudden left turn into inexplicable events. There is no clear explanation as to why Seifer suddenly turns on everyone, and then is okay and chill at the end. Characters conveniently lost their memory through GF use except Irvine, who doesn't bring it up until much much later that he knows all of them, which is weird. There is exactly 1 (one) quip of dialogue that IMPLIES Laguna is Squall's dad (literally blink and you miss it). Monsters coming from the moon isn't mentioned until the last disc. Overall, most of the rest of the game is like a David Lynch-inspired fever dream, which could illustrate Squall's dying consciousness as things become less coherent. Seifer suddenly turning on everyone with no clear reason could reference Squall's deep desire to be with Rinoa, since she used to date Seifer. But Squall has no social skills, so he fantasizes about suddenly being with Rinoa, as she inexplicably becomes drawn to him after the first disc.
Overall, the story has a lot of unique ambitions but IMO it falls flat and is very poorly executed.
The music, however, is baller, which is why we're all here.
Rinoa is Ultimecia. Its so obvious if you played game a few times. Square denies it bc it is such a traumatic conclusion and some audiences cannot handle that plot conclusion.
No they deny it because it's not true and is only the fruit of interpretation by fans. The very same way that "Squall dies at the end of disc1" is.
Well, Caco, they couldve fooled me. Because it seems possible. It is all speculation on fiction anyway.
Rob Stephen Extradimensionally? What are you talking about? Please don’t bring up multiverse shit theories, I hate when ppl do that. FF8 doesn’t have multiverse. The story is a cycle. Ultimecia goes back in time and gives her power to Edea, and the cycle continues. Ultimecia is not Rinoa.
The theory is fascinating but pure imagination.
Dio. Open your mind to metaphysics in both fiction, and sometimes in reality. Tesla and Einstein all thought "Extradimensionally". Plus , the plot of ff8 is rather convoluted and open 2 intepretation. You ridicule people 4 thinking outside the box? Heh. If you dictated human history, there would be no profound genius in it. Based off your above comment 2 me. And that is a fact.

Rinoa is Ultimecia, extradimensionally. Most plausible explanation yet most disturbing, also.
