By the way. Making this video led me to revisit older games that I hadn’t seen in many years. Would anyone want me to play some of these older games in a subseries within the channel, perhaps called “Retro Recommendations” or something like that? Because this Resident Evil video was basically that so, would you like me to explore older games and reflect on their pros and cons in the future? If you do, leave a Like and or write a reply. Thanks in advance and take care.
If making reviews and restrospective analyses of old video games is something you are interested in doing, I would love to see those videos, as it was through old PC games that I became interested in gaming and computers. Good luck in any decision you make!
What a nice Halloween Special this is! Your video was spooky, fun, and even moving at times; you have a gift for merging emotions into a seamless result, good job! I had been considering playing this game sometime, but now you have really convinced me! 😉😵💫🎃🧟
Great video, JoseOrtizReflects, very well done and interesting and your comparative with older adventure games from Sierra was right on cue to demonstrate the difference between puzzle game types. I wish you a good Halloween season and continued success with your channel.
15:25 this is too true. I know your channel is not about RE, but the other classic REs are really worth it, if you like survival horror. Silent Hill is also very good and I think it is darker, especially the first one. I don't know if you've already played SH2 , but in my opinion (no spoilers) the remake becomes a completely different game and doesn't do justice to the original. oh and unfortunately in the remake of RE3 (no spoilers) everything you praised about Jill disappears, only in the remake, in the original she still has her kind attitude but knows how to take care of herself. This is more personal but I also don't like the face she has in RE3 remake. The model for Jill's face in RE1 is Julia Voth, as a curiosity.
I haven't played any of the Silent Hill although I would like to (these games are very hard to find these days, and the only one I can find in GOG is the fourth). The Resident Evil games I plan to continue playing, though. Right now I'm starting to explore the Zero prequel although I'm not too deep on that one yet to properly have any thoughts on it. If I were to make a video on that one, it would be next year, probably.... Now, about Jill in the RE 3 Remake I have heard some of the stuff you say although I haven't played the game myself to put together any particular opinion. However GOG recently released the original trilogy and considering how much I liked the style of this RE 1 Remake I would like to play more of those before jumping to the over the shoulder perspective. A question: Would you recommend the RE 2 and RE 4 remakes, or should I stick only to the originals? I ask because I have to plan well my time and monetary investments so that I can keep up with the channel content, you understand....
@@joseortizreflects RE0 could be much more enjoyable if it had a trunk, good luck. I haven't played RE4 remake so I can't comment. My personal recommendation is that you should play the originals first, since I think it is more satisfying to be playing and notice what things have changed from the original compared to the remake. RE2 is a decent remake, the biggest cut was that they removed the A-B scenarios from the original, resulting in "what if" scenarios and replayability, which they unfortunately cut in the remake. If you wanted to save money you could play on an emulator, if you don't have moral problems with that. There are also HD versions of the original trilogy made by fans, I repeat, if you don't have moral problems with emulating. If you don't like emulating, the easiest thing would be to buy them on GOG. The original trilogy + code veronica are very fun games if you like survival horror. Also, if you play the originals first you can save money while playing them, since there are 3 games that will take you time to finish, and obviously the remakes are much more expensive in comparison. If you play RE2 (1998) I recommend playing "Claire A" and "Leon B" since it is the canon route. oh and if you get to play RE3 and at some point RE3 remake, you will realize how much content they cut, transforming it into a game that has nothing to do with the original. I hope you play the originals.
@@Kirisu__Mafuyu I'll keep all of that in mind. I'll buy the GOG games first then because I don't like emulating unless the game is on public domain. Thanks for the reply, it was highly informative.👍 BTW, I already noticed that Zero has zero item boxes....🤨
Resident evil one remastered on 2002 to look stunning on your CRT TV! People who played in 2002 know it’s a remake. Problem is most didn’t play it until the remaster like 13 years later.
Well, there is a mod, I think, that can remove the door animations. If you can't find it on Nexus, then search the Steam community for the way to remove the door animations. Maybe that might help you enjoy the game more....🤔

Spanish Dracula 🧛
Spanish Dracula, what do you mean?
Finally someone who sees it as a REMAKE instead of a REMASTERED.

It is so hard to find these characteristics in woman in general these days… it’s ok to say we all know it.
Salazar it sounds like you're recording in the bathroom
Any tips on how to improve the audio? (I'm open for suggestions.)
This game sucks. It's boring and tedious. Spend hours just looking at door animations while running around looking for stupid keys.
