Lyndsey and Jay were working and living in Courtenay, BC, but something was missing. They had a dream of starting a donut shop, one of those classic mom-and-pop stores! However, neither of them had restaurant experience. What Lyndsey did have was a finance background and experience working with small businesses. So she felt it was definitely something they could do - as long as they had a solid plan. It took them 3 years to perfect their business model, but eventually they had everything planned and decided to take the plunge. Their passion was recognized by their local community and what happened on opening day was more than they ever could have hoped for...
