Never understand when brands veering away from their own “branding”. Especially now when through channels like yours and a few others educating people on added fragrance serves no purpose in skincare but to cause irritation. It’s counterintuitive🙃Vanicream is a great brand for those with eczema I’ve used it on my children since infancy as it was recommended. Stay safe and healthy everyone ❤️
@@DrDrayzday I'm really sorry struggling to find an affordable moisturiser for my oily skin. I'm in the UK, and all the ones I've tried feel greasy/heavy
@@whitneybrown4067 CeraVe Moisturising Lotion is a very good body AND face moisturiser for those who find the cream too heavy as the lotion is very lightweight! :)
I LOVE your top 10’s AND I’ve been curious about Cetaphil for a while, because, “back in my day”, (I’m 50), Cetaphil was the Derms’ Darling! Glad to have some updated and super-scientific, well-thought-out 🥰 recs!! Also, things have been rough lately, and hearing your voice and seeing your face is a comfort!! 🥰
I love this top 10 skincare series! I use the Redness Relieving daily moisturizer, but because the SPF is only 20, I use it as a top layer over my SPF50 to diminish the white cast. It's very comfortable to wear. :) The moisturizing cream in the big tub is also a fave during the winter when my skin becomes so dry. I also use Cetaphil's skin cleanser for dry/extra dry skin. It works well to remove sunscreen and makeup without irritating my skin and so far does not sting my eyes. As much as I like this brand as a whole, I have to be diligent in reading labels to make sure there's no added fragrance. I bought their bar soap for dry skin and it was laced with a very strong, floral fragrance. :-(
At first , I dont appreciate cetaphil because it doesnt make any bubble or foam( facial wash ) but when I saw the result my skin looks moisturized just like cerave I kove them ❤ Thanks to Dr. Dray because I have no idea cetaphil have different products like mask and mositurizer.
I love their moisturizing cream. I use it on my face & body & despite being thick it never feels greasy or heavy. I also never feel a burning or stinging sensation. I always love these top 10 videos Dr. Dray! Thank you!
Watching this a year later. Just bought the Cetaphil dry and sensitive moisturizing cream at Costco and it is wonderful! I just got a retinol burn and have been only washing and then using it. It feels great and is helping me heal quickly. It says it is proven to repair skin barrier in a week. I think it will since this is day 3 and can barely tell anything burned my face.I don't find it heavy as I just take a small amount and warm by rubbing fingertips together before I apply to my face.
I came here looking for a review on the Cetaphil Soothing Gel Cream with Aloe, and thank GOD. I love aloe, it has always been kind to my pale red head skin, and I have been very happy with my other Cetaphil products. Thank you for this. ❤
I love the Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser and it's so underrated. Most people know about the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser but imo the foaming cleanser is far better.
Dr. Dray I just love your channel! I discovered it about a week and a half ago and have completely changed my skincare routines. I've struggled a long time trying to find products and a routine and have spent far too much money on it all. I have simplified (I am following your routine with Differin from an older video). My skin has never been better and I'm thrilled to simplify and spend less money. You do truly a great service and I love your sense of humor. Yes, on what you were saying about reviews of brands--would love to see what you think of Paula's Choice products. I did previously have some of those and generally had some good luck with those but I feel like I was overly exfoliating and using too many products. Your channel is awesome!
And this is why I love your channel! You know what your talking about. Your 100% honest and you are who you are as you are. That’s why I will always be a subscriber to your channel
Derma control mask 👍🏼👍🏼 Definitely improved pores around my nose and cheeks. Doesn't dry out my skin. I used it one to two times a week. Definitely want to hear about Paula's Choice and Inky List 😁
Yay I’m so happy you’re doing more of these top 10 videos ! Yes please include paulas choice! It really helps me narrow down what I need for my skin from each brand 👍🏼
Love this! I use the body wash on my upper body, where I feel I get most oily during the day. I have used almost a whole jar of the body cream on my hands at night and I no longer have issues with dry, cracked hands! I have used the daily moisturizer for the face but it’s not my favorite. I use it but prefer Vanicream’s new one with ceramides. I have SUPER sensitive skin, so I became a Cerave, cetaphil, vanicream convert quickly thanks to Dr Dray!
I don’t know why, but I always thought Cetaphil products were garbage. I probably heard that somewhere and ran with it. Thank you for this very informative video.
Tried the Pro Eczema Soothing Moisturizer & Ultra Gentle Body Wash Fragrance Free and it's really worth your money. I started to used the Restorderm line as recommended by my doctor for my dermatitis a few years back. It was a relief to find a body & face cleanser + lotion that didn't make my skin itch & dry-feeling
I love these videos!! Cetaphil for some reason always makes my skin feel a burning sensation where Cerava doesn't. I would love to know your top 10 Eucerin products Dr Dray. Take care hun!
I love your transparency and just telling it as it is. 😍 I was so worried if the lotion is only specifically made for the body. This is my firt time trying cetaphil i just ordered the intensive lotion to try it this winter for repair and restoration. And i think their aloe gel would be wonderful for the summer season! 🥰
I started using the Cetaphil Redness Relief Night Cream per your recommendation. I love it. I noticed the gentle face cleanser was missing....that product broke me out like crazy. Would love a video for Paula’s Choice. Thanks!
The redness relief night cream is my favorite moisturizer of all time, it's so hydrating and soothing, I've used it on and off for years. Even when I try other stuff I always come back to it
Yes, please do a Paula’s Choice. I have heard that since selling the company it’s gone away from her original philosophy. I spent so much money because of the “a product for everything” and felt like a lot of it was redundant. Plus broke me out.
Thanks so much for this video! I had drifted away from Cetaphil bc I loathe their “hydrating” face cleanser & it dries me out so bad, but I forget how many wonderful things they do indeed have. It looks like they’re lots of good new stuff too! I adore Vanicream and Cerave, but Cetaphil’s products are nothing to sneeze at either. I am inspired. Thanks again!
Thank you for the mask recommendation! After watching you and Cassandra Bankson, I've been confused about whether I should really be watching my face twice a day. I wake up with *such* oily skin, that I have a hard time justifying not washing it in the morning. Excited to try the clay mask as an alternative!
I use mainly cetaphil, but I live in South Africa and we have so much less variety 😱 and sometimes I even struggle to get some of my usual products. Very jealous. Not to mention the fact that we don’t have most of the other brands everyone is obsessed with at the moment.
So happy to see that we finally have Cerave as well! I agree, very limited products of the different brands 😥. Our sunscreen choice also very limited! The amount of products you have in the US is just something else!😲

I am so happy you said you can use body lotion on face. I began having heavy flaking around my eyes. I put corticosteroid cream to calm it down. Once the 7 days were over, I tried a lot of moisturizers. None of them lasted as long to protect that area. I found this body lotion (checked the ingredients (shea butter, aloe, sunflower seed oil, glycerin, vitanin E)) and told myself to try it on my face. It does have perfume too but thats at the bottom of all the ingredients they put, so I didnt get too worried. Anyways, I have been using it on my face, no rash, no acne, nothing bad came out of it. My eyelids/area around my eyes came back to life :) and now, as a bonus, I am relieved to hear that its ok to put body lotion on face haha. Pheww!! Long story short, I found one body lotion from Cetaphil that has the same ingredients as the other body lotion I used (minus the perfune). Ill keep on using it without having that tiny doubt of "oh no! You shouldnt use body lotion on face!" thought lol I live in Canada. Our winters are rough loool Thanks Dr. Dray :)

Yes, I love Cetaphil! Thanks for the reviews. I caught the panel discussion on Ecowell’s channel. I follow her on IG. As a person allergic to fragrance, I thought you gave valuable input and did a wonderful job. “They’re not looking to form memories with the cream.” Ha ha, right on! Paula’s Choice would be great.
Hey dr Drey! I love watching your videos and I’ve learned so much! I noticed Cetaphil updated and changed their formulas. Could you maybe do an updated review on that ?
I use the Pro Restoraderm eczema moisturizer every nights on my hands. It keeps my middle aged hands stay moisturized the entire day and it makes them look younger too!
I've been using many Paula's Choice products for almost 20 years. One of the first products I tried was the Moisture Boost Cleanser. I still use it today. It is the best cleanser I have ever used. I couldn't be without it! I also really love the Hydralight Shine-Free Mineral Complex SPF30. It's my most favourite facial sunscreen. I also really like many of her serums. You just have to find the ones that work best for your skin type. I've pretty much tried them all and have continued to use the ones that work best for me. It's a wonderful product line.
Great....I am always tempted to buy Cetaphil but end up buying Cerave....The inkey list find personally interesting...just because of the comparison with the ordinary ....similar products... Slightly different price and contents....
Will you consider a video discussing benzyl alcohol? It's common to see benzyl alcohol in products. I've seen it on your list of chemicals used as fragrance or fragrance masking. Aveeno has it in so many of their products and Cetaphil does as well. I have rosacea and generally very sensitized skin. I love colloidal oatmeal in products but worry about the benzyl alcohol.
Can you do what skin care a 20 year old 30s 40s+ There's so much info that you don't even know where to start, maybe this would help me and others. Thank youuu!!!
I bought that night redness relief cream and OMG it's amazing. I like it better than the CereVe Night Cream, which I liked. But CereVe was starting to sting my face, the Cetaphil does not. LOVE IT with Retin-A.
Love the big tub of cream! I cleanse with a balm, then Cetaphil, use the cream then Tretinoin, and another layer of the cream. Thanks for helping me simplify my routine. Love the gel cream, too.
Yes, to reviewing Paula's Choice. I think Cetaphil has a few good products, but I personally feel they have a lot of products that are disappointing. They have a facial spf that isn't broad spectrum, a lot of their products contain fragrance, and their spf for oily skin is the same thing as Differin's, only it's more expensive.
This is great. Can you do a top 5 or 10 topical actives that research shows have the best impact to your skin? I'm thinking they would include retinoid, azelaic acid, sunscreen, benzoyl peroxide, urea, petrolatum, hydroquinone (kojic acid, alpha arbutin), niacinimide, colloidial oatmeal, vitamin C?
Great video!🙌🏻 Thank you!💖 Just a heads up for my fellow fair/pale people, the tinted Redness Relieving Day Moisturizer is too dark for us, IMO.😬 I didn't read the reviews on Amazon before I bought it, which is something I always do; I think I was just overly excited about it.😆 The listing description says "sheer tint" and it looks very light in the listing pictures, but in person it is much deeper toned. Once I got it, I looked at the reviews and sure enough, there were a lot of them that showed how dark it looks on pale skin.🤦🏼♀ I absolutely *love* the Redness Relieving Night Moisturizer, though!🥰
Yay! Yes, yes, yes, keep the Top 10 lists coming. Thanks Dr. Dray!
Will do!

Loved this top 10 series Dr Dray. Thank you. Love to your Mom, hope you are both safe and well ❤️
Can you do what skin care a 20 year old 30s 40s+
There's so much info that you don't even know where to start, maybe this would help me and others. Thank youuu!!!
I bought that night redness relief cream and OMG it's amazing. I like it better than the CereVe Night Cream, which I liked. But CereVe was starting to sting my face, the Cetaphil does not. LOVE IT with Retin-A.
Loving the 10 best products videos of certain brands! 👍
Something just draws me to Cetaphil over Cerave. My skin feels super calmed and nourished with Cetaphil.
Love the big tub of cream! I cleanse with a balm, then Cetaphil, use the cream then Tretinoin, and another layer of the cream. Thanks for helping me simplify my routine.
Love the gel cream, too.
Love these videos...it saves me a lot of time when I shop for moisturizers, products for face, etc....👍🏽
Loooovvvvveeee Cetaphil!!! Thank you for making this video 🥰
I completely agree I’m committed to fragrance free products , my skin breaks out bad with fragrance inside them, I love cerave and cetaphil
Another great one Doc, can't wait for Aveeno.
And YES! Do top 10 for Paula’s Choice!!!
Would love to see other brands like you had mentioned: paulas choice and la roche posay. Secretly hoping you’ll do purito one day!! 🤞
Not what you're asking for but she has videos on all those individual ingredients.
Yes, please! More of your top 10’s ☺️ I’d love to see Avene’s and maybe your top K and J beauty ☺️
Much love from the Philippines 🇵🇭 and Thailand 🇹🇭
