Over time, rivers change course and leave a trail of silt and stone "behind". There is a whole lot of "behind" to get our stones from. We would not take stones from an active waterway.

How do you get that final smooth finish on these bowls? I would love to try this with our softer and colorful rhyolite in Arizona.
