ahah right
I don’t think people are realizing that these are ancient and sacred traditions. They’re a part of their history and culture, which they treat with care and respect. I would like to imagine everyone would do the same, but apparently not considering the comment section. People might think I’m a simp and am taking this too seriously. But these people train for months, sometimes years, to practice their cultural traditions in a correct way that will connect them to their ancestors and past. It’s not a joke, it’s a privilege to see ancient traditions passed down for us to watch, acknowledge, and appreciate. Period.
I think it is beautiful. I started to find out more about it. It is awsome.
Its frustrating, but serves as a reminder that YT comment sections are NOT the place to find useful additional information about the actual subject matter, as I just tried to do. YT comments are just a boatload of really, really moronic childish attempts at humor using extremely tired and repetitive joke structures that only reveal one thing - that the commenters are terribly unoriginal, unfunny and 12-14 years old. Even TikTok comment sections are more useful (and funny) :)
@The Cløwn and it’s always men that have to say something degrading abt women when they get annoyed by one. Fuck off incel. I came here to say fuck tradition but u are by far the most annoying comment

You should see the whole video. She's actually insane. It's called Polyphonic Overtone Singing.
I actually came here from this exact video. Crazy I didn't know she was in it
I did not know that is was possible to sing harmonics. It sounds amazing
She uses her opera training to break down the different types of overtones - useful for xygyt. Her pitch is otherworldly.

@@tothemoon2151 That's not true. In Inuit tribes throat singing was mostly done by women as a game or competition while the men in the tribe were away. I recommend watching Shina Nova's videos with her mother if you want to learn more about Inuit throat singing and their beautiful culture in general. They're super interesting and both her and her mother are very talented

Everyone with a throat can do this, even children (thát sounds amazing btw) but it is a difficult technique to master. I'm trying this for several years now and I started with 30 seconds practice a day. I can now sing like this for 20 minutes straight before I get tired. It is really demanding and when pushing too hard, or overdo it, you'll get a hell of a soar throat. There are some tutorials on TH-cam.
@@Monrealese Polyphonic overtones aren't hard to produce in isolation, but the control, the flexibility the German woman has is amazing.
Trannies channeling their inner male
The German lady literally turned her throat into a flute!! And the Tuva ones have such a presence of dignity about them, while the Mongolian one sounds powerful.
I don't know about one strange one, it sounded like she's singing a background song for some Rayman game.
The flute spund is made with mouth and tongue and is really hard. Also if you can hear it, you can sometimes hear overtone even with kargyraa
Jokes aside, these women have amazing voices ..

1:52: WTF!?! OK... Am I crazy? Or was that "flutish" sound coming out of her as well as the amazing singing? 🎤🎶😍✨ Just astounding!
Yes, dear. I am practicing this style of singing also. I am a beginner. The "whistling" sounds we make by usung the sinuses (we don't use only the vocal cords for singing and mouth (as an acoustic chamber). Sinuses are great mini-acoystic chambers as well, plys - the other 100ds luttle holes in our skull...you can make all these "chambers" to vibrate and the art is to manage to synchronise the chest sounds with the upper-ones if the sinuses. Then you get that double-sound. My teacher is Miroslav Grosser (Berlin)
@@Margarita387 it's amazing you can learn to manipulate where those times come from... RESPECT! ✌️🫶

This singing is, may be, the most ancient form of understanding of music by the humans. They try to depict animals' sounds. Instrumental uses entered very late in civilizations.

They should hire these women and other throat singers like Hu to provide the music to good, speculative science fiction movies. True story:
I was working at sea a few years ago, and when i first signed on, one of my female coworkers asked if i minded shacking up with her for the first week (i am male).
She knew that it was against regulation, but her designated roomie was in a relationship with my designated roomie, who was leaving shortly. So she wanted do do her roomie a solid favor. Besides, she was already fed up with said roomie complaining non-stop about not being able to shag her boyfriend for a month after he left the ship.
I trusted her not to get me into trouble, since she would have been equally punished. So i moved in with her for 1 week.
First night on board, sleeping my first time on a ship, below window level, in a pitch black cabin the size of a prison cell. I was just about to doze off when i heard 01:16 coming from the top bunk.
Sleeping became a bit of a challenge after that. It must have taken me at least 2 hours.

Usually, I sing in high-pitch Rock vocals. One day, I saw this & got damn curious. Tried it. Holy wow! Not easy, after all! Especially the first one & the German lady - they were hitting whistle register & that didgeridoo rasp AT THE SAME TIME. Wow! Ok, that is mad skill. I don't care what ignorant people say. @Sharpy ... yes, I understood your question. I chose to instead say that you don't want to experience it. Tone is often lost and misconstrued via text. But even knowing that, the tone i receive from your reply makes me not want to explain.
Google can very quickly answer your question. People who experience sleep paralysis often have very similar experiences and see very similar things.
