If you hear yourself hit the pitch you're going for, great. Do it... but don't OVER do it. If it starts to hurt, or irritate your throat. Just stop, take a drink and try again later. Doing it in small increments will allow your throat to sort of "heal" its way through your learning process. The more you do it, the longer and clearer it gets each time.

4 months later, I am here to tell that I mastered throat singing 4 months ago because of this video though i do not know how to sing in sygyt Thanks brother
Heey brüdda! I'm glad you mastered kargyraa :D There is a video about sygyt on my channel, but it tells about technicalities. I still can't do it well :O
Glad to find your video. I figured the "golden vibration" was a key factor because when I would hit it my voice instantly became way louder. The breathing from the diaphragm is still a bit hard as is adding low notes. Any tips for those? High notes are definitely easier for me. Also question for you. Whats the difference between the various styles of Asian throat singing, and what is it that separates the Scandinavian throat singing from the others?
Heeey! Thank you for your feedback! :D My friend noticed that I was mispronouncing the word "diaphragm", its a bit embarrassing but lesson learned xD Anyways, I believe you will get used to breathing with it over time. Maybe try breathing with diaphragm and throatsinging as long as you can with one go. If you can continue doing it, I think your body will get used to it quite fast :D About low notes, I have no idea, maybe it will come in time when you get comfortable with this singing style? Central Asian (Turkic, Mongolian and Tibetan) throat singing styles usually don't differ that much. Canadian natives seem to have a unique singing style and also Sardinians. I have no idea about Scandinavians tho :O Saamii people's yoik singing style is present in Mongolia but practiced by very few individuals, I think :S
When I was in Mongolia learning a long song, the first thing my teacher did was had me lie on a bench and do exactly the breathing practice you showed. 😊
I’m recovering from a cold and practicing this has knocked so much crap out of my nose, I can breathe so much better. Unintended side effect but it’s great.
Greetings from Romania! I ve taught myself to throat sing during high school, currently i m pretty good with Kargyraa, my Khoomei is okay ish and i never managed to do a proper Sygyt. Nice video! I suggest you to continue with this kind of vids, people need them. :)
Heeey! I know a famous Romanian word that is highly versatile in many situations - Pula! xD Sygyt/isgeree is the hardest to master, its easy to make a slight overtone sound but difficult to get sharp whistling sound and make melody :O It requires good ab muscles to push air up :D
@@Hachapuri69 you have brightened my day by the fact that out of all the vast romanian vocabulary, the only word you understand is Pula 🤣. Im also romanian, and I believe that mongolian throat singing and scottish bagpipe music is the best traditional music on the planet.
Been trying to produce that throat vibration. I managed to get it going and add it a vowel sound, and nailed it. It's getting a little easier, I think it's starting to make more sense each time I try. But dang it's hard 😅
Tried learning throat singing from this video and a couple of others cause i thought it was cool. Got the hang of it, but still feel some pain in my throat when i do it for too long. I tried showing off to my friends and family, and they all told me "What's the point? How does this skill help you in any way?" I'm not gonna give up, and i wanna keep practicing so i can throat sing whenever I'm idling, it feels nice to sing this way, considering I'm too tone deaf to sing normally. If anyone wants some pointers on finding the golden vibration, try pretending like you're revving a motorcycle.
Well I have a beginning of something, I've been training my voice since 6 months while driving (cause working in delivery stuff) and my voice is prepared for this but need to find the technique and master it. I've been trying to learn throat singing for a while now, but I'm having problems with what you call Golden Vibration. I can't seem to control it really. Sometimes I get it, sometimes not. So, if you can help me, I'd like to ask a few questions. How does Golden resonance feel in you throat? Is it the kind of strong vibration that you fell from mouth to lungs? Is there a process to work my way up to that specific kind of singing? Also, I've seen bands like huun huur tu do a more that an hour long set, how do their throats never seem to get sore? Is it the life long practice or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Great video, btw, that ending is so relatable :D
Ahaha nice that the ending is relatable xD My throat used to hurt for the first 2-3 weeks of doing this. It wasn't as strong or constant like now, I just kept having fun with it until it got effortless :D I'm not sure if I can do it 1 hour straight but it is possible with breaks in between :) About maintaining the sound, my suggestion is to sing as often as you can until you get used to it, at least that's my idea :D
I did notice that him and Batman are never in the same room together at the same time and every time there is a signal in the sky he suddenly has to leave and go do something.

The nigahiga intro was a perfect nostalgia trip, thx!
Started this video and was delighted to find the Nigahiga intro, then watched the rest and loved learning! How fun!
Must speak Sardukar
1 - breath from belly.
2 - deeply exhale without forcing it.
3 - try to extend exhale noise.
99 - add sound, to throat sing.
... Wait, I think I lack a few steps here ?
(Thanks for the tutorial, though, I'll try that, even if that makes me cough everytime I try to extend exhale sound, but I'll follow more tips to try to get it good ^^)
do let your throat rest if it starts to hurt ;)
Why was I unaware of the existence of this community
personally, I learned of its existence maybe just a bit more than a week ago :O
@@Hachapuri69 do you have any tutorials for sygit? i find it hard to get the vibration from my throat like you do. Can I add you on facebook, would love to ask you few more questions if possible, i have been trying to sound like huun huur tu for a while now
@@anmouss86 heeey, probably you know by now that I was giving tips on kargyraa and how to make vibration for that. Sygyt or isgeree doesn't involve much of the vibration but more air push and mouth/tongue shape. It's not my forte though :S
My FB is: Ruttab Dlobtab
Do contact me if you have further questions :)
ok
4:40 im trying to do this and take it seriously but this sound just made me bust into laughter for a good 30 seconds
We will be teaching YOU how to be NIIIIIIIIIINJA. Love the reference xD
I've been practicing throat singing for about 2 months now. Gets better and better every day.
A good tip: DON'T OVER DO IT.
Teacher: we are going to a field trip to Mongolia!
Girls: Thats boring!
Boys: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Awesome!
why do you think girls would think mongolia is boring? are girls not interested in interesting things? is throat-singing supposed to be for boys?

Lmao it’s Niggahiga reincarnated
Why not show intro song ?? oO
I found the song. It needs more advertisement since its very epic. A perfect example of well done combination of old and new ways of music. A very unique beautiful piece of art.
I DIDI IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I'm going to practice this religiously for the rest of my life lol
I love the throwback to the early TH-cam days with the “How to be Ninja” format at the beginning 😂 I was immediately sold
This Video made my Throat Singing 10x better. No other tutorial explained the golden vibration and the addition of the vowels this well.
Great job and thank you!
4 months later, I am here to tell that I mastered throat singing 4 months ago because of this video though i do not know how to sing in sygyt
Thanks brother
Heey brüdda!
I'm glad you mastered kargyraa :D
There is a video about sygyt on my channel, but it tells about technicalities.
My friend noticed that I was mispronouncing the word "diaphragm", its a bit embarrassing but lesson learned xD
Anyways, I believe you will get used to breathing with it over time. Maybe try breathing with diaphragm and throatsinging as long as you can with one go. If you can continue doing it, I think your body will get used to it quite fast :D
About low notes, I have no idea, maybe it will come in time when you get comfortable with this singing style?
Central Asian (Turkic, Mongolian and Tibetan) throat singing styles usually don't differ that much. Canadian natives seem to have a unique singing style and also Sardinians. I have no idea about Scandinavians tho :O
Saamii people's yoik singing style is present in Mongolia but practiced by very few individuals, I think :S
I'm pretty sure some of us came here because of The Hu.
Btw nice video and nice explanation
When I was in Mongolia learning a long song, the first thing my teacher did was had me lie on a bench and do exactly the breathing practice you showed. 😊
I’m recovering from a cold and practicing this has knocked so much crap out of my nose, I can breathe so much better.
Unintended side effect but it’s great.
Greetings from Romania! I ve taught myself to throat sing during high school, currently i m pretty good with Kargyraa, my Khoomei is okay ish and i never managed to do a proper Sygyt. Nice video! I suggest you to continue with this kind of vids, people need them. :)
Heeey! I know a famous Romanian word that is highly versatile in many situations - Pula! xD
Sygyt/isgeree is the hardest to master, its easy to make a slight overtone sound but difficult to get sharp whistling sound and make melody :O
It requires good ab muscles to push air up :D
@@Hachapuri69 you have brightened my day by the fact that out of all the vast romanian vocabulary, the only word you understand is Pula 🤣. Im also romanian, and I believe that mongolian throat singing and scottish bagpipe music is the best traditional music on the planet.
The "How To Ninja" references are giving me a big old wave of nostalgia 🤣
Been trying to produce that throat vibration. I managed to get it going and add it a vowel sound, and nailed it. It's getting a little easier, I think it's starting to make more sense each time I try. But dang it's hard 😅
Tried learning throat singing from this video and a couple of others cause i thought it was cool. Got the hang of it, but still feel some pain in my throat when i do it for too long. I tried showing off to my friends and family, and they all told me "What's the point? How does this skill help you in any way?"
I'm not gonna give up, and i wanna keep practicing so i can throat sing whenever I'm idling, it feels nice to sing this way, considering I'm too tone deaf to sing normally. If anyone wants some pointers on finding the golden vibration, try pretending like you're revving a motorcycle.
Its a cool skill to have :D
There are physical and emotional benefits of practicing this singing style tbh :D
Today I learned something new, thank you Galdan Suke Khuril Ashigh Sacha Tseren Yesun Khara Gulugu Agsaldai Yekeidun Khashin Yabuqa.

THE NIGAHIGA FORMAT IS AMAZING
Well I have a beginning of something, I've been training my voice since 6 months while driving (cause working in delivery stuff) and my voice is prepared for this but need to find the technique and master it. Thanks to you because it will be faster, and I hope to arrive at your level soon ! Have nice day
Really dig the Nigahiga reference
This is so helpful! I'm studying linguistics and I'm on a mission to learn how to make all these cool sounds I'm learning about! This is by far the best helpful guide I've found! I didn't realize I was making glottal vibrations when I collapse on the couch after a long day! But I totally am!
this brings back memories of the golden age of youtube
Ahaha nice that the ending is relatable xD
My throat used to hurt for the first 2-3 weeks of doing this. It wasn't as strong or constant like now, I just kept having fun with it until it got effortless :D
I'm not sure if I can do it 1 hour straight but it is possible with breaks in between :)
About maintaining the sound, my suggestion is to sing as often as you can until you get used to it, at least that's my idea :D
Immediately subscribed. I suck at throat singing but I won't give up
This man has helped me achieve thorat singing in half an hour...this is the best way to learn

@@Hachapuri69 you mean kumys? I've always wanted to try it but I don't think it's available in Poland. Is it similar to kefir in taste? If so I think I'd like it :D
@@neckbreaker094 eeeey dobry dzien! Yeah, that's the one! :D
Turkic people call it kumis, we call it airag. The taste is a quite different from kefir. Its hard to find it in Europe unless you are in central Asian cultural festival, even there its difficult to find it.
If you ever get chance to drink it, its better not to sip, but to drink bravely like you drink beer or something :D
Not always, but it helps to clean the stomach of people who are drinking it the first time. So, it might flush out stuff xD
Firstly, start by not cutting it
1. Wait
2. Wait
3. Don't cut
4. Wait
5. Start over from step 1.
I tried making the 2nd step but it just sounde like someone was riding a motorcycle
Probably that could be your signature sound xD
I hope it will work out :D
Yeah if i practice enough
