GBO2 Zogok: A fighting gorilla?!

- This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV4 Zogok on Gundam Battle Operation 2. Is is a 350 cost (though I am playing the 500 cost version here) general with outstanding close range ability, good mobility and high stun accumulation potential. Its weaknesses would be having to use a stop to fire primary or sturmfaust to stun before melee and being big which makes it easy to shoot. This first match was in rated while the second one was a custom room I held the other night. Zogok is basically a gorilla in terms of fighting style, if it gets close to you then it can easily maul you with its two powerful melee weapons. Both these matches were rough in some areas since I was playing far outside of 350 cost, but I still think they went well. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The primary weapon of the LV4 Zogok is a boomerang launcher with 450 power, 10 ammo, 400 RPM, 6.7 seconds reload, 0.7 seconds swap, 315m range, 2933 DPS and 35% stagger value. These are stop to fire but have potentially amazing damage output and stagger output. They also reload quickly. You will surely be stunned first if you use this in a head to head fight, so try and flank or ambush to use these before entering close combat.
Its primary melee weapon is an arm punch with 2760 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap and standard melee modifiers. This has standard modifiers, but very high base strength along with instantly knocking down on normal swings. It isn't optimal in terms of damage to start combos with this, but instantly knocking down with a high priority neutral swing can make it easy to cause chaos among the enemy or just to get somebody out of your way.
Its first sub weapon is a sturmfaust with 2300 power, 1 ammo, 15 seconds reload, 3 seconds swap time, 200m range and 80% stagger value. This is a standard sturmfaust so it comes with the same weaknesses as usual, it has a lengthy discard animation which makes it tricky to confirm melee off of it. Though your arm punch neutral swing is actually fast enough to often catch enemies before they can dodge roll even after a sturmfaust stun.
Its second sub weapon is a heat sword with 2185 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap and standard melee modifiers. This has pretty solid power and while it doesn't instantly knock down like your arm punch, it has longer range and is more effective to start combos with if you want the maximum damage possible. You first stun with this weapon then go into a neutral swing with your arm punch for a max damage combo route starter.
The LV4 Zogok has 18000 HP, 29 ballistic resist, 14 beam resist and 21 melee resist. It has high ballistic and melee resist, but beam resist is a little low. This is definitely made up for by the high HP which means you can endure shooting to some extent while you are on your way trying to get closer up. It has the combination of both LV1 Maneuver Armor and Emergency Evasion, which is basically standard for a general of this size.
Zogok also has 138 walking speed, 205 boosting speed, 60 thrust and 69 turning speed. For 350 cost this is incredibly fast, but it is still pretty solid even for 500 cost. You have high walking speed along with good strafing modifiers, which makes playing around cover or just general handling feel much better. It has no Forced Injector skill though like LV1 500 costers, so you will feel that as a weakness if playing above 350-400 cost.
Overall I think that while Zogok is hard to use and definitely unorthodox, it has huge potential in melee range. Even at 500 cost you can do gigantic damage in melee range with your two powerful melee weapons, at 350-400 cost this advantage is even more pronounced. I obviously can't recommend you play it at 450 or 500 cost in rated or anything like that, but I believe it truly has a great niche at 350 and 400 cost for an ultra melee focused general. This type of suit isn't for everyone, but if you think it looks fun then I would definitely recommend you try it out. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

i absolutely love this cyclops, especially the little Capt Falcon "YES" when you don't boost out of the knuckles down melee. As though saying "I got you good eh?"
Im not a Zeon fan, but the Zogok has a badass design with a goofy kit. Its one of the few Zeke units ill actually play every now and then. Also, its basically Zeon's Gundam Fighter.
The Zogok is so much fun. The extendo arms are pretty cool and it can dish out some serious damage. 7/10 would absolutely recommend

Ever since I saw this on Gundam UC as a remnant I was drawn to it like a bug to food.
It's goofy, but it can also come up to your face and knock you out in a single punch.
It also reminded me of Cherno Alpha with its hydraulic punches.
