2:30 They forgot to mention that Wayne Knight, the actor who played Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park, is the voice of Tantor the elephant in Tarzan (1999).
Always knew Matthew Broderick was Simba & Joaquin Phoenix was Kinai. Recently found out about Christian Bale being Thomas, but I loved him as Howl from Howls Moving Castle
Thanks for putting Treasure Planet on yet another Disney list by including Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jim Hawkins. The underrated masterpiece deserves to be on more and more Disney/animated movie lists like this, you know. However, you forgot to mention that Emma Thompson also did Captain Amelia in the same film as JGL.
Patrick Dempsey also did a fantastic job voicing Kenai in the sequel. I went for years not knowing that it was him, but I was happily surprised! Both he and Joaquin have such soothing warm voices.
Emma Thompson was also the voice of Captain Amelia Smollet in Treasure Planet and Rick Moranis voiced Rutt in Brother Bear. And Tony Goldwyn also played Carl Bruner in Ghost.
And Jason Alexander, the actor who plays George in Seinfeld & Stuckey in Pretty Woman (1990), is the voice of Hugo. One of the gargoyles in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996).
TONY GOLDWYN!!! His work in one of my favorite shows Scandal as an adult had me mesmorized! And as a child eating popcorn on the living room floor watching Tarzan i have tears in my eyes! THANK YOU MR GOLDWYN!!!
Ironically, both Kenai and Joaquin Phoenix loses a brother. Kenai loses his old brother, Sitka and Phoenix loses his old brother, River too. I think that was the idea why he was chosen to play Kenai, because he knows the feeling of losing a brother. 'Don't worry, Joaquin. River it's now with the spirits of your elders'.
I can’t help but wonder if maybe the reason he didn’t voice Kenai in the sequel was because while he was proud of his work on the first, the concept of his character losing an older brother he loved dearly like he did reopened the wounds of him losing River.
That's not ironic, that's just coincidential. Ironic means contrary to what is expected, for example that Billy Bletcher voiced the large and intimidating Pete when he himself was only 5'2". Another example is that Al Pacino turned down a role in "GoodFellas" to avoid being typecast as a gangster, but ended up playing a gangster in "Dick Tracy" instead

The role of Kenai must have been so difficult for Joaquin Phoenix to do, because he also lost his older brother. “He was killed…by a monster.” River was killed by the monster called drugs. 😢 RIP River Phoenix, 1970-1993 ❤

@@Compucles Brother Bear is underrated, the movie is Disney’s last hurrah in 2D animation, their downfall actually started with The Emperor’s New Groove which underperformed and multiple box office bombs like Atlantis and Treasure Planet, which Disney decided to shut down anymore 2D productions after Brother Bear and Home on the Range! That’s because Disney had no faith in those movies so they severely cut marketing budgets to save lot of money for investing in CGI movies!
I actually knew about Idris Elba. He might be known as the son of 9 mothers, thanks to his role as Heimdal in the Thor movies, and yes, Heimdal does have 9 mothers in total, but to me, he will always be the African buffalo that all kids secretly was a bit scared of, and adults saw as the seriously tough guy. I see Chef Bogo as that puffed up guy that secretly wants to smash through doors to celebrate Francines birthday.
Emma Thompson was fantastic as Elinor, despite not having many lines post Bear transformation. She conveys Elinor's stern nature and frustration over her headstrong daughter perfectly, and I love how she changes emotionally, not just physically.
2:30 They forgot to mention that Wayne Knight, the actor who played Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park, is the voice of Tantor the elephant in Tarzan (1999).
I remember an old interview with Tony around the time of Tarzan's release where he talked about walking around his house practicing the Tarzan yell after getting the part. lol Edited to add: As an illustrator who also adores drawing human anatomy, I have always LOVED watching Tarzan not only for the film itself but the animation of his anatomy. It's SUPERB. Anybody on the team who animated Tarzan himself in addition to Glen Keane had to have an abundance of detailed knowledge of superficial anatomy to accomplish his character design statically let alone in motion. You can also see Glen Keane's anatomy knowledge in the transformation scene in Beauty and the Beast. He animated that part completely on his own over the course of a couple MONTHS because he wanted it to be _just so,_ and it paid off in spades. Just the animation of the hand is jaw-dropping in how textbook accurate it is.
I agree with you 100% Tarzan’s animation is out of this world. Way beyond great for its time, and I believe in my personal opinion, is superior to most 2D animation movies and cartoons these days. I also loved how the characters were drawn and animated in the film too! Their expressions were so lively and vibrant!
Joaquin Phoenix deserves to be number 1 (I would not even be surprised if that list was created just to praise him.) First time I learnt it was him, I was like "What? But that doesn't sound like him at all!" Just prove what an incredible actor he is!

Idris Elba’s performance as Chief Bogo is very underrated! Apparently, he’s one of the main reasons why Disney was able to craft him so perfectly and honestly, I’m not surprised. His voice is as deep and intimidating as ever, but he really nailed the dry sense of humour and vulnerability the character has, deep down! I’m really glad Bogo wasn’t written as just a one-dimensional, strict, stubborn, gruff police chief. He had layers, thankfully. Here's MY top 10 list of surprising voice acting performances in Disney/Pixar movies: 10- Scott Weinger as Aladdin- Aladdin 9- Robin Williams as Genie- Aladdin 8- Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear- Toy Story franchise 7- Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen- Cars Franchise 6- Ellen DeGeneres as Dory- Finding Nemo and Finding Dory 5- Tom Hanks as Woody- Toy Story franchise 4- Zachary Levi as Eugene Fitzherbert- Tangled 3- Mel Gibson as John Smith(Pocahontas) 2- Danny Devito as Phil- Hercules There's 3 for number 1: JOSH KEATON AS YOUNG HERCULES/FRANK WELKER AS PEGASUS/ and my FAV voice performance in Hercules, TATE DONOVAN AS ADULT HERCULES!
You were surprised by Robin Williams and Tim Allen? Those were rather obvious. Fun fact: Scott Weinger actually dressed up as Disney's Aladdin in live action in an episode of "Full House."
Honourable mentions: Tom Hanks as Woody Jim Cummings as Pooh/Tigger John Travolta as Bolt John Leguizamo as Bruno James Woods as Hades Gilbert Gottfried as Iago Tony Jay as Shere Khan Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider Eddie Murphy as Mushu Alan Tudyk as King Candy Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen Patrick Warburton as Kronk Adam West as Uncle Art Robin Williams as Genie John Goodman as Sulley Albert Brooks as Marlin Ed Asner as Carl Fredricksen Dwayne Johnson as Maui Nathan Lane & Ernie Sabella as Timon & Pumbaa Bill Hader as Fear Daniel Henney as Tadashi Hamada Josh Gad as Olaf Wallace Shawn as Rex Jason Lee as Syndrome John C. Reilly as Wreck-It Ralph Phil Harris as Baloo David Spade as Kuzco Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas as Rutt & Tuke Kelly Marie Tran as Raya Harland Williams as Carl the Robot Mary Gibbs as Boo Wayne Knight as Al McWhiggin Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde
How could anyone be surprised about Gilbert Gottfried as Iago?! He had one of the most distinctive voices in show business! The same goes for some of the others to varying degrees. If the list was just about celebrity actors in Disney animated movies, it would've said so.
And Jason Alexander, the actor who plays George in Seinfeld & Stuckey in Pretty Woman (1990), is the voice of Hugo. One of the gargoyles in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame (1996).
Even after watching Moana so much I still never noticed her mother was voice by Nicole S. Esmeralda is also one of my favourite characters so I always knew Demi voiceed her. Also knew about most of all the others.
The first clip you used of Tarzan after saying that he and his scandal character are the same voice for the same man is actually inaccurate; Brian blessed who plays Clayton in the movie actually did Tarzan’s yells :-)
I didn't know until a few years ago that Kids In The Hall veteran David Foley was Flick in, "A Bug's Life" Also, John Krasinski was PERFECTLY cast for that role in, "Monsters University"
Im surprised Neve Campbell voicing Kiara in The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride wasnt an honorable mention. I just found out a few days ago and that is such an under rated voice acting performance. She nailed it and knocked it out of the park

I never knew Willam Dafoe was Gill, I love him as an actor and Finding Nemo is my favourite film. I also never knew Joaquin was Kenai in Brother Bear I loved that film as a kid!
13:03 WTF,Joaquin freaking Phoenix, I was not expecting an incredible Joker actor to be in a fantastic kids movie like Brother Bear,it's shocking how different he is in Brother Bear compared to Joker 👏
Besides Idris Elba in zootopia I had no clue about the other actors in those movies until I was older ...completely surprised... In fact I didn't even know demi Moore at all until today
Most surprising one I can think of is the voice of Copper in Fox and the Hound....Kurt Russel. I mean who would have thought hed go from animated fox to Jack Burton in 5 years.
Wow! Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls ACTUALLY voiced Moana's mother and her singing voice and dubbed her in the Hawaiian language one?! Wow! This is like the third Ms Mojo video that I've watched tonight or fourth or fifth where I've been shocked about something! Keep it up with the facts guys! Woo! EEP! :)
rewatching finding Nemo I’ve got to say it’s impressive that William dafoe was the voice of gill in finding Nemo especially considering about a year before the release of finding Nemo he was the green goblin

How could anyone be surprised about Gilbert Gottfried as Iago?! He had one of the most distinctive voices in show business!
The same goes for some of the others to varying degrees. If the list was just about celebrity actors in Disney animated movies, it would've said so.
Oh, how about Dame Judi Dench in Home on the Range? Am I the only one who remembers the Disney flick that everyone forgot?
I totally remember home on the range, but didn't know M from James Bond voiced him
No, I LOVE Home on the Range!

The first clip you used of Tarzan after saying that he and his scandal character are the same voice for the same man is actually inaccurate; Brian blessed who plays Clayton in the movie actually did Tarzan’s yells :-)

@@jubileebaby0 Sadly, yes. What a disappointment it led to a bomb.
Im surprised Neve Campbell voicing Kiara in The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride wasnt an honorable mention. I just found out a few days ago and that is such an under rated voice acting performance. She nailed it and knocked it out of the park
Maya Rudolph as Aunt Cass(Big Hero 6)?
John Leguizano as Bruno(Encanto)?
Ms mojo don't talk about Bruno
Jennifer Tilly as Grace and Cealia
Jeremy Irons as Scar
Mel Gibson as John Smith
I'd add Dwayne Johnson as Maui in Moana. I was especially surprised to hear him sing as well
2:30 They forgot to mention that Wayne Knight, the actor who played Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park, is the voice of Tantor the elephant in Tarzan (1999).
@@arcticangel1628 Oh yeah! I always thought it was Jim Cummings as Tantor
@@arcticangel1628 Wayne Knight was also Al in Toy Story 2 as well

Kevin Bacon is the voice of Balto in 1995 even though it’s not Disney. 😊
Linda hunt- grandmother Willow in Pocahontas
