The late actor Glenn Ford had his heart in the right place. He brings down Beverly Hills in the most elegant, social justice way. I loved what he stood for as to community with the Stewart Family. I am a member of Jimmy Stewart's church -- Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. He was a deacon, and dreadfully loved by Glenn Ford. These men were both leaders in their ideas. Tyler Lord Hamilton

After a 16-year marriage to dancing star Eleanor Powell, he married three more times while he chased a series of younger and younger women, gold-diggers who plundered his hard earned fortune and then left him.
He developed a drinking problem so severe that it nearly killed him and left him unable to walk for a decade before he died in 2006 at age 90.
And he taped the most famous taper in history: he installed a secret telephone recording system in his Beverly Hills mansion that recorded intimate conversations with his many Hollywood lovers (143 at last count) and some big-time politicians, including President Richard Nixon.

I grew up as a Child since 1960 and Glenn Ford Rock's Thank You Champ for some of The Greatest Films a Guy could ever see I Love God for Glenn Ford thanks Champ you are The Best no doubt.

I raised chickens, as a kid, with my Pa. He got me into it.
I had a couple f riends in life, who also raised chickens. They took it very seriously too. We would sell a rooster for 75, to 150 buk . Hens we sold for 25, to 50. They were beautiful chickens.
I gave the last of them to Mother Clary.
Now, they are Mother Clary's chickens....

If not being woken up by chickens before dawn makes me a snob, I'm going to have to side with the anti-chicken neighbors. Glenn had the money to maintain a farm outside the more populated areas of L.A. if he desired fresh eggs, he could have paid some laborers to maintain the farm and deliver the eggs to him a couple days a week.

Mary Hubbard : Seems but was actually not that nice. He was a cold-hearted man. Peter, his son, wrote a biography of his father; utilizing Glen’ Fords journals that he kept all of his life. The book is entitled Glen Ford: ‘A Life”. Peter is not a vindictive son. He states that not once did his father ever compliment him, or tell his son that he loved him. After 17 years of marriage to Elenor Powell, he gave their home to his ex-wife and his 14 year old son. No alimony for Elenor. Pretty cold-blooded when he was the philandering husband, with too many of his co-stars. I was a huge fan, until I recently, learned how cold-blooded a man he was. I am not sure how I will feel about him the next time I view one of his films.
Glenn had many wonderful friends who adored him. That means a lot in my book. There are always many sides to a person, he was a human being. He was a no nonsense man and if he wouldn’t take guff from anyone. As far as his personal life, well, we all know personal lives are complicated, especially if you’re a famous actor. We should love Glenn for the good that was in him and the joy he brought us with his films, and forgive him for his indiscretions. Just like we do with our own friends and family.

Y'know, I admired Glenn Ford in his earlier work all throughout the 1940s and 50s but frankly, once the 1960s came I don't think that his movies or his acting was that hot. And he had such a lovely wife (Eleanor Powell) and son but he sabotaged that family with his womanizing.
I think his 1960's movies Courtship of Eddie's Father and Dear Heart were excellent.
Show me a powerful or rich person who wasn't a womanizer or slut, and I'll show you a liar.
