Norma Shearer was absolutely stunning in her heyday. Greer Garson and her wonderful cheekbones are hard to miss💛 I love the final shot of Irene Dunne smiling to the camera.
A beautiful song and tribute to so many gifted amazing beautiful entertainers. I think too often people have absolutely no clue of the burden and stress of having to constantly be in the public's eyes. I pray society in the future can be more mindful an honor and respect our actors musicians and public figures in future generations in a kinder more respectful manner. Privacy is so very important no matter who a person is.
oh,.my.god. epic. truly. it gave me epic SHIVERS!!!so warm and adorable and poetic...I mean, look at Bogie with that shirt! And Hitch and Ingrid B. laughing there!and the look Gable gives to Carole Lombard!amazing.
OMG!! The great Tyrone Power! (0:04). My adored Ty with his luminous smile. So warm, so handsome, so young! I love him always and forever! The song is beautiful and the Joan Baez's voice, marvelous! Thanks! It is a masterpiece.
Ah my favorite actors. This was wonderful. I didnt recognize a few but i enjoyed it so much! I hollered to Carole Lombard not to go and turn around and wait a day! It breaks my heart the way she died!
This is a lovely video..came across it by chance. One of those 'recommended for you' things from TH-cam...and I'm thankful that i got the chance to watch it. Thank you.
You realize I can't speak after this! This video is poetry in motion.....You captured the personalities behind the glitter. I wish I could've known them all. Tremendous job. :-)
This was beautiful! --I think I tell myself the same thing every time you release a new video, but this really is one of my favorites that you've made! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing. =)
Lovely! Man, I wanted to make a comment about a certain clip or shot that I liked, but then I couldn't because they're all so good I couldn't even decide which one to praise! Every single second of footage there is so priceless. Nice job :)
I thought you would include Loretta Young especially when she was very young in the early 1930s. She was gorgeous in Midnight Mary, Employees Entrance, They Call It Sin, Born to Be Bad, Big Business Girl, an so many other films she made from age 17, 18, 19, and 20. What a face and a good actress too.
Is that Irene Dunne (with her back turned to camera) standing next to Carole Lombard at 0:17? She turns slightly to the right. Looks like her profile. Love the shot of Miss Dunne with Clark Gable at the launching of the US Carole Lombard.
Oh wait wait go back to my cutie holding the baby at 2:06 and Jimmy at 2:10 . The two human beings that died and left this Earth a much kinder place. And 3:10 with those eyes and smile you can light up the whole world
Norma Shearer was absolutely stunning in her heyday. Greer Garson and her wonderful cheekbones are hard to miss💛 I love the final shot of Irene Dunne smiling to the camera.
