Yeah, those pinned waypoints are flippin brilliant. That's exactly what DJI should be doing way ahead of any third party app. With something like that, you could set a bunch of waypoints, making a whole tour of an area, set your camera settings just right, and then fly it through and compose a really great video very easily. I really like that.
Ok just picked up some $12 goggles at wall mart and tried this app . Pretty amazing for total investment under $20 worked flawless so far for a full flight. Im sure the dji goggles are maybe more comfortable and they have more functions but this is a cheap way to see if you want to drop more money on those later if at all i cant wait to take them out to the desert and chase some friends on dirt bikes they were perfect in the bright sun
I got some nice goggles at Fry's on sale for $5.00 and I used the program. After getting used to the program, to me it is easier to use than the DJI program and I love the FPV experience and you wont beat that price.

This app looks great, a lot of people are doing the same thing with the Litchi app. Flying FPV with a third party app and cheap VR goggles is great hack/mode but it doesn't really compare to using the DJI Goggles.
Waiting on mine to. I ordered the release day from DJI and got a priority shipping code to get it first... I decided to go with amazon for %5 back and the convenience of returning if I dont like it. sucks to see people sell them for 2 -$300 more on ebay already

Thanx for the info. Sorry you crashed your spark. I could see you were shook. I think the spark will be the FPV flyer that everyone has waited for, To bad about the regs regarding FPV. I see pilots in other countries flying high & long. I think that in a free country like ours a responsible, trained licenced pilot should be able to FPV to range and altitude potential, If conditions and location will allow.
Great video I'm an android guy tho. When I use my litchi ap to record something using the $50 goggles I use them to block the glare so I can get the shot etc etc... everything else is done in editing. I did like the video you made... what i seen is dji goggles react diffrent then the litchy app cheap goggles mode. when u look up and down it works with ur phone but not left and right and the flight modes u get. I do agree that dji made the goggles way to expencive. Hope one day they get to be payeble.
I use my fpv goggles that came with my bebop 2. I don’t like flying this way because I feel better when I can actually see me drone. Maybe one day I’ll blow the dust off the goggles and try again.

I bought the Mavic version coz I thought it will support panning but exactly the same tilt only. No way of asking app author. Website says nothing. BigBallVlogs loving it man...small download, loads and runs fast and didn't crash on my iPhone once over a few flights. Only issue was the AR for my POI showed off about 100m when I was looking at a far off POV but beyond that this is steal at five bucks.
+Swift Homes I honestly use GO4 most. if there is an issue it logs data to you phone. This has gotten guys that have had fly aways new drone because it logged the failure. The others I use for their unique options.

This solution gives you half the resolution of your phone which is pretty poor vs DJI Goggles which provide 1080p to each eye. There is simply no comparison in quality. But just for fun flying, this will work.

FYI, to find the Mavic FPV app you need to search the App Store for mavicfpv. Search will not find the app if you search for mavic fpv. (At least it did not for me.)
Plus the button "reset VR view" is so confusing. No instructions that explains it. Not sure what it does except maybe throws out the alignment settings. Documentation could be better.
Hey BBV... I was having problems with the Litchi app and lens focusing. I bought the Zeiss VR One Plus goggles and guess what? no way to adjust the lens. This app has that capability and it's amazing. I'm impress so far. Thanks for the video!

Both have unique perks. Litch has missions, more control in fpv of the craft auto record... This is closer to GO4 with FPV.
