Mario and Luigi partners in time is my favourite Mario and Luigi game. I really like the story and the whole idea of the shroobs and it was never too hard unless you run away from most of the battles but it also wasn't too easy do be boring. In my opinion one of the best Nintendo games ever and it's really sad that it didn't got a remake
Me too, it has really the atmosphere of a final boss even if it's not, and the fact that Mario and Baby Mario + luigi and baby Luigi fight bowser and baby bowser is just really the best fight of the game
It may have been a great fight, but the enemies from before made me feel seriously contrasted and unprepared. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it at all at the time, but I did think that it may have been good without being fun for me.
You forgot 2 important details. 1: Elder Shrooboid uses the UFO timer that obliterated Mario and Luigi before meeting their baby counterparts. 2: Elder Princess Shroob has a very rare attack where she uses the time holes to her advantage.
if i remember correctly she sends ufo damaged by either fire or thunder into a timehole that opens up again later. where they come out of it to hit mario and luigi and you have to remember that pattern from when they entered the timehole a couple of turns ago
I had the rare time hole attack in my first playthrough, but I killed her before the second part of it, so I was very confused and thought it would play a role in a future story development, but I was wrong
My main problem with the bosses in Partners in Time is not that they're necessarily hard, but it's the fact that they take FOREVER to beat, even with Bros Items. This is because they have so much health. Either that, or I don't deal enough damage. On the topic of difficulty, the regular enemy fights in this game can be BRUTAL, especially in later areas when you start encountering higher leveled enemies. I invest in HP and Defense, because I feel like I take WAY too much damage from a single attack and don't get enough experience from enemies, forcing me to grind. For a game that makes me experiment through trial and error to learn enemies' attack patterns, it really feels like there's barely any room for error.
Just came back to this series recently anticipating sea of stars, so glad to see this series get some dedicated content PIT was the first one I played and some of these bosses where so memorable
Mario & Luigi Partners in Time is severely underrated and while I wish it got a remake, I'm also a little glad it didn't as I wouldn't want to be playing a 30fps version of the game lol
This game is so nostalgic for me as it was the only game my dad was ever invested in. He made it to the final battle against queen shroob and then he had to face the giant queen shroob which he couldn't beat and wasn't prepared for and then he never played it again. So it is my job to avenge him I still my have my ds cartilage so I need to destroy the queen
