Vitamin D deficiency is a common problem in the United States and many parts of the world. It can cause bone pain, muscle weakness, and even mood swings. It also increases your risk of developing osteoporosis and fractures!
The best source of vitamin D is sunlight, but you may need to spend time outside each day in order to get enough sun exposure to meet your needs.
Vitamin D can also be taken through food. The only downside is that it’s found in very few foods, which can easily lead to developing symptoms of this vitamin deficiency. In this video, we are going to be talking about the most common symptoms of vitamin D deficiency.

Glad you listened. Most people don't take my advice seriously when I try to share my knowledge in nutrition. These same people constantly seem to get sick. I wonder if I'm better off adding to ask their doctor to check their D levels. One of them straight out said they don't believe in supplements. Oddest thing I ever heard. Like they don't exist. Or no are necessary. I don't see him living particularly long with that attitude and the way he eats. Maybe, when he gets sick enough a doctor may do it for him. At work my client which is a disabled shut in basically. Bec he's triggered when he's out or can easily be. Had to almost die before his doctor gave him vitamin D. For some reason he's been going on and off it since. I personally generally recommend 10k IU daily. As it's a safe dose. And of course K2 mk7 and magnesium. My one coworker literally had to quit working with kids because she was literally sick the whole time. plus, she seems to get every sickness the client gets. I may get sick but it's so mild I have to question if I'm actually sick. Taking high dose Vitamin D3 is that helpful. It never goes past mildl anymore. Since bumping up from around 1600iu to 10k IU daily.

@@md.rakibul2609 I’m not a health care professional, but I’ve seen people warm up vitamin E and vitamin D gelcaps by briskly rubbing gelcaps in their hands together, and then applying the viscus stuff to the skin directly. I believe these people continued to ingest vitamin D capsules orally as well. The vitamin-infused balm on peeling or angry skin (peeling lips anyone ?) was an “add-on,” or an extra. Applying topically was never the “go-to” idea. I’m going to try this soon. My lips are peeling, I’m bow-legged, and a bone doctor told me I had serious osteoporosis, hither-to unseen by him in a 38 year-old man. Because of my very nerve-shaking living arangements, I’ve given up on cooking, but I know I can force an avacado milkshake in the morning, and take that with a bunch of vitamins. An osteopath instructed me to take a lot of vitamin D. I’ll have to look up the numbers. It’s sent out in IUs (international units) and not milligrams [he never let me forget that].

Most doctors simply want to prescribe pharmaceuticals to you; they can make a lot of money that way.
So OF COURSE they aren’t going to look for the cause of your illness . . . they are simply going to peddle the “cure” for it.

D-3 works very well with K-2.
Doctors who are into nutrition recommend 100 mcg k-2 with 5000 D3.
There are several forms of magnesium which is hard to get through diet and adding the one you need most is a good idea. The K2 helps take calcium out of your blood (arteries) and into your bones.

We're from Alaska and my wife was diagnosed with MS about eight years back. Her levels were crazy low at the time and it took several years to get her in the normal(ish) range. Just recently, I went to the doctor and learned my levels are around 10 and have since started once a week 50,000iu pull in addition to 6-9,000iu gummies each each day. It has been three weeks and have not noticed much of a difference. The doctor said it would take at least 6-12 months. Over the last few years, more specifically the last two, I have been super depresed, fatigued, mood swings, poor sleep, sick, bowel issues, dull skin, pain in my head, bone pain, etc. Makes it really difficult to work 12 hour days to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. I recently decided to make sure our kids are taking extra vitamin D.

Bleeding gums is also a symptom of vitamin C deficiency, and common in children who eat too much sugar. Sugar is similar to C and prioritized by the body when present. This leads many to experience symptoms of scurvy. So Bleeding gums may not be a good symptom to go by to identify a D deficiency. You have to rule out over factors. Vitamin C is used to build cell walls. Deficiencies make you bleed more, bruise easily, and have noise bleeds.

Also if you had bleeding gums as a specific problem, you could type 'causes of bleeding gums' and vitamin d, vitamin c would likely show up as potential causes along with other nutrient deficiencies and excesses. It just speaks to the complexity of nutrition.

So glad I came across this video. For months I’ve been placed on vitamin D supplements bc my levels were always so low on blood work. I never took them bc i thought the amt of 50,000 IU was too much & i was afraid to take them. Now I’m definitely going to take them. I have suffered from most of these symptoms & more. Never knew it was bc I lacked vitamin D. Thank you 🙏

I read that in 30 minutes in the sun, in a swimsuit, at noon, flip at 15 minutes, the body can produce 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D. The need for vitamin D is why people whose ancestors both farmed their food and lived far from the equator are so very pale. Darker skin (more melanin) slows down the production of vitamin D. The Inuit eat their vitamin D and have a good tan, even though they live very far north. Northern Europeans eat mostly plant based foods (no vitamin D) and live far north, and therefore, have paler skin color.

Exercise a minimum of 30 mins daily. Using natural shampoo, neem wooden comb, scalp massager by liitleextra coconion twice a week. This is good for hair fall control.

    • @hughdavis3135
      @hughdavis3135 ปีที่แล้ว +5

UVB only penetrates to ground level when the sun is above an altitude of 45 degrees. Above 45 deg, the higher the sun is in the sky, the more UVB gets through, hence the rule about it being strongest at noon. However in higher Latitudes, during winter the sun never gets above 45deg, for instance in London the sun only gets above 45 deg between early April and early Sep - approx 5 months of the year, for Edinburgh it's only approx 4 months. Add to that many people don't get out in the sun at lunchtime, and it's easy to see why the UK has a Vit D crisis, and the need for supplementation, or a diet of D rich foods.

This is an excellent and informative video. However, they should encourage anyone living in the Northern Hemisphere to supplement with vitamin D regardless of what they are eating. Here, in Ireland, it's recommended to supplement from Autumn to about April, then take a break over the Summer. Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin meaning it is stored in the fat in our bodies, so it can build up. Taking a break each Summer ensures that we do not store too much.

She did so much research, she started taking high doses of vitamin D, it changed her life. Hence , she opened a store. To help others and she is super knowledgeable. Same here. I was 25 when suddenly I found myself so weak I could barely walk to the bathroom. My knees and muscles would hurt very badly. My blood tests showed anemia, it took me a year to get back on my feet to be able to go back to work. But I still had trouble walking downstairs, I did not run or dance. The orthopedist discovered that I had flat feet, so I thought that was the reason. Now I am 40 and once again I got so weak I couldn't walk. After a month of supplementing iron I fainted and had convultions. I was tested once more and the results showed vitamin d deficiency. I've been 6 months on iron, vitamin d and magnesium and finally I am getting stronger. So sad they did not check my vitamin d levels 15 years ago, but I am hopeful for the future.

We don’t take a vit D, K or C as supplements, but do take Cod liver oil. Our vits come from food (we grow a lot of) and in our diets, we regularly eat chestnut mushroom (skins on), eggs ( at least 4+ a week each), liver once a week, full fat milk every day, tuna once to twice a week, cheese 3-4 x a week, leafy dark green vegs 5 x a wk or more, plus lots of other fresh fruit & veg, which contain all you need for a healthy diet. We live in the Northern hemisphere, where we get little sunlight with 7 1/2 daylight hours in the depth of winter, and on average not much actual sunshine from Nov-Feb, plus it’s too cold to unwrap outside. Neither of us have any colds, flu, or other ailments relating to diet deficiencies as far a we are aware and we consider ourselves healthy, for now anyways😂.

Algae oil is easier to take than cod liver oil. No fish burps and in a capsule. But it is more expensive. But the advantage is worth it to me.

Bless you for your words. Now many of us can now understand, and perhaps get a friend help to wheel us about. Bless you !!

Need B12 to help put D3 where it's needed. Watch the calcium. It can cause a problem. K2 is good.

Sorry to say that you might also want to lay off the milk. No grown species relies on the food of its newborn babies especially that of another species for nutrition. Rich in hormones, saturated fat and sugar in the form of lactose, it’s a recipe for disaster for cardiovascular health.

For being checked by medical professions it's got some blaring errors. Your pupils don't constrict when you enter a dark room, they dilate to let more light in. They constrict when you enter a bright location to limit light.

Anyone exhibiting even one of these symptoms, please have your levels checked via blood test ASAP. Some people can go years undiagnosed but feel themselves deteriorating without knowing why. It can be so relieving and comforting to finally know what's wrong and to feel yourself healing and growing happier. Depletion of the Sun is a big deal, even at a spiritual level. The ancients knew what it was about when they were worshipping the Sun ☀💛☀.

I was literally DYING Of vitamin D deficiency. Within two days of beginning supplementation, I felt, in my body, that THAT had been what was wrong for 10 years!!
I tell strangers everywhere to do some research, talk to your Dr. and insist on a test.
I also needed 9 months or more to heal deep in my body. I felt my bones healing. It actually felt like growing pains. But now? I'm my old self again!! I had to happen on the answer by accident. All because the medical system lies to us about simple, very important vitamins.
People believe they get enough by drinking a glass or two of milk a day. I hear it from strangers when they complain of hurting, I say take some vitamin D3 and they say oh "I drink milk." (Like that covers them.) We've been mislead to keep us sick! People are in denial.

      @@Het-spel-des-levens i take 15000iu.
It has my vit D blood test at 78. Which old science and all Drs worry is too high. Im not trying to have any issues so I have dropped my supplementation to 10,000 iu and don't have new testing on this dose. I still feel good.
The best vitamin D is just getting sun. In the winter, most Americans cant get enough from the sun. I am trying, with spring, to get 20 min around noon. And when i do i dont take my suppliment.
BUT, my advice to you, unless you talk to your doctor, only take 2000 iu daily. Ive seen science and doctors say that is a safe amount for most adults. Im not a doctor but i have done my research. They have done new studies, that show a lot of us are low on vit D.
Vitamin D is needed by every system, organ and tissue in your body! Sleep, energy, hair regrowth, weight loss, less cravings, and way less body aches and my wounds heal faster, WAY LESS BRAIN FOG. etc etc. I could list 100 ways i feel better since im not low on vitamin D!!!
Good luck and feel better everyone!
OH, IF VITAMIN D3 SUPPLEMENTATION HELPS YOU, SHARE! SHARE! SHARE!
