Dude you guys are not sloths! You don't need to explain yourself to people on the internet! We are just greatfull for the awesome content you provide us ❤️
I sincerely wish Adam and Abby would quit apologizing for their physical conditions....you are who you are and you two are enjoying every second of your adventures to the fullest; like we are enjoying your videos! All your viewers likewise should focus on the beautiful scenery and the opportunity to be able to experience it through your videos.
Abby and Adam, thank you both so much for all the awesome videos of your vacation. You have given us all such a wonderful escape from this miserable pandemic. It has been so refreshing.
Please don’t apologize for being in less than great shape. You give me a good gauge of places I can hike without killing myself! My experience of hiking to Delicate Arch was exactly like yours, so you’re the perfect gauge for me and I’m heading down to the Moab area in the next couple of weeks and I’m going to hit many of these places based on your videos, so a big thank you!!!!
I CALL BS ADAM! You folks are out there doing what you're doing. Make no mistake, you ARE hiking. Getting it done and shooting the videos. To each his own. DO NOT sell yourselves short. Keep on, keepin' on. Everyone has to start somewhere.
I don't care what anyone else says, you two are HIKERS!! I WISH I could get out and enjoy the outdoors the way you two do!! I'm currently recovering from major back surgery, and im unable to get out and about. I applaud you for getting out there and DOING IT, and sharing with those of us who can't! ❤❤❤
I gotta applaud you 2 for hiking properly btw. Having a hat, water, hiking boots, sticks, etc is being prepared for the challenge. We spend so much money here in Arizona RESCUING people who decide to go out on a trail in the middle of 110* summer with a single bottle of water, no hat, sneakers, etc. It's really upsetting how these people do that, but then again they also drive their cars into flooded roads and get swept away. You 2 are doing it right and having a blast. 😎 Thanks for taking us along with you!
You are hiking in my opinion and your doing it right. You know your limitations your taking your time and enjoying the experience. That is what it is all about. I would rather hang out with folks like you who want to enjoy and share then those who brag and boast about what they did. Plus your smarter then a lot of the so called hikers out there you carry water. LOL
Prior to your monologue about your level of physical condition, hiking, my wife commented that you guys understand going in the level of difficulty you are facing on your ‘trek’ and you do it anyway. So kudos to you and Abby for suffering to bring your fans beautiful well produced content. You’re a long way from help so don’t overdo. We appreciate you. Godbless.
This series of videos is the best vacation I've ever been on. Thanks for having us along. Been following ever since you went through Wichita. My hometown.
I LOVE watching ya's adventures together. You two make me smile! Don't don't have to explain yourself, being out of shape, ya are perfect the way God made ya. Ya are out living life, and that's more than most during this time.
Once again, Thank you for the video. Remind me of when I was younger and was able to into the outdoors. One thing I remembered is that going up hill seems hard, but coming down can be even harder because you really can't see what is where you are stepping.
There is no need to apologize for who you are. diversity was what made our country what it is. Only perfect people have the right to point out other peoples faults &, so far, I haven't met any. Thanx for the fine vacation footage.
That’s great Adam and Abby , that was good exercise you were slightly out of breath, working Your hearts , remember a bit at a time mate . Love to you both and thank you for the fantastic videos. Ps love your hat Adam and how you finish the videos with your still photos 👏👏👏👏👏👍🇬🇧🍺🍺
Being stuck in an endless lockdown here in the UK I really enjoy your travels , thank you . We had to cancel our New England trip this year. Maybe next year. Keep up the good work
Adam, quit apologizing for who\what you are. You and Abby are talented individuals who do amazing things in your own right. Those people that can hike 10 miles and brag about it probably would not know anything about achieving a precisely flat smooth machined surface or know the importance for doing so(for one example). Just enjoy the walk with your lady.
ABOMB Advetures this was a good video series !! Im so sad 😥 to se it ending but with every good adventure a ending adventure is always in store ... Happy trip back too Florida hope all is well and no damage too your 🏠..thanks for good video's... Soo Satisfying!!#
I've been camping and backpacking in Canyonlands since '74, and, having hiked in all three major Districts in the Park, Needles, by far, is my favorite. Without writing the Magna Carta on this topic (which I could), suffice to say that one of the talents that I developed over the years was spotting pictographs and petroglyphs from distances and/or through visual obstructions, that most hikers would miss. In '86, driving to the Elephant Hill trailhead for a backpacking trip to Chester Park and the Devil's Kitchen (HIGHLY recommended), I spotted a beautiful little pictograph panel that I HAD to explore: to find the spot, please go to 17.25 on the video's time bar, freeze the frame, and precisely in the center of the picture is where you'll find the magic; there are also symmetrical grooves (not a mortar/pestle set) in a rock where "something" was being formed. I have pictures of this adventure, but I'm old, and my VCR machine is STILL blinking "12:00." If anyone can give me technical help, I'd be happy to share the shots. Above all, enjoy this incredible land!
Adam, Abby. The point is while your out enjoying yourselves and pushing your boundaries, the trolls are sat at home festering on a couch. I’m enjoying the trip as much as you both are from my chair in the Uk. Keep them coming love the banter you both have.
Love this trail! Thanks for the memories! Great video; felt like I was there. I am a "real hiker" and have gone further on this trail, but I also stop a lot, take photos, lay down, take short naps, enjoy the scenery. Using hiking poles helps a lot on the steep parts, and surprisingly, on the flat parts too.
Congrats Adam and Abby on all your hiking and perseverance on bettering yourselves. Thank you for sharing of all these wonderful geological formations. I would love to do something like that but with knee joint issues, hiking like that gets a tad difficult, doable but definitely difficult. Love the vids and love joining you on your adventures with them.
Your doing more than I am you guys have been on some beautiful hikes.. When I was in my teens I lived in AZ and would go on great hikes and see the great sights of the desert.. now I live in the north mid west and am deep into my final year as a locomotive engineer I look forward to retirement to get back to the beautiful south west and going on great hikes again..👍👍
@@AbomAdventures30 years ago it was a great career everyone was family but now you are a number.. it won’t be long and I will be doing what I want when I want.. keep doing the great things you are doing don’t sweat the nay sayers have a great trip 👍
The ones who say you are not hiking are people who have never been hiking and have never looked up the definition of hiking. Don't Let them get to you! Love the Vids of the National Parks!
He guys, I might be one of the fanatics you are talking about, haha. But please don not apologize for not being fit enough. You both are doing it! Good on you!
How long does a walk have to be before it becomes a hike? You can call it what ever you want, you do a great job! Thanks for sharing all the videos from your awsome vacation!
Love your videos! Have you ever come across any snakes yet! Thats what I'm scared of. Started watching your videos when you left Wellington Kansas. You were 20 miles from where I live!
Adam, Abby, when walking down a steep hill, especially on such stairs, try using (two) hiking sticks. Will give you safer grip, makes it easier on the knees and less risk of twisting an ankle.
We love the scenery around Moab. Hiking is not our thing either (we are older than you) but we always do a little when we are out there too. We use our Jeep to get further out and explore.
You mentioned your favorite thing was the side by side riding.. you could build a rack to hold one in your bed up over the cab so you can bring it along on your trips .. and by the way screw the anti hike people it’s hiking no matter what the level you are at.. enjoy where you are and who you are with 👍
You can purchase at any of the NP visitor centers or visit their website to order one. They also sell all of the stickers there or at the visitor centers.
I use a walking stick. You can find them on line. I am older than you two. You may consider having two custom made here in the States. I got mine from Scotland.
Cool video. We were in Canyonlands in Oct. Did more driving than hiking but it is a beautiful area. Do you take the photos with your Gopro also, or a different camera? The pics are so nice and clear.
Most injuries occur on the descent, Because of fatigue I suppose. Based on cruel experience. Getting hurt out there is a whole 'nother level of "Oh s**t!" for sure...
I made the mistake once of going hiking with a Real Hiker. I'll never do that again! We hiked for hours up the side of a mountain up to a mountain lake. And when we finally got there, what does he say? "Okay, lets go back now." What??? Aren't we going to at least enjoy the destination for awhile, and explore a little? That's when i figured out that it's the hike itself that's the all-consuming thing; there's no real interest in actually enjoying the scenery and the destination. I guess after you've done enough hiking to become a Real Hiker, you've seen it all and its not real interesting anymore really, so only the Hike itself is left. Go as far as possible and observe as little as possible, seems to be the result.
You 2 both have smiles that would light up a room. Really genuine smiles. I love it. I always laugh when Abby laughs. 😄

Awesome. And YES you are hiking. And NO, it's nobody else's business but your own.
Thank you. My comment as well . Mine may have been a bit spicier. Lol

I will say it again. A hike is a walk with a purpose. Here the purpose is to get out and see something; good enough.

Sounds like you’ve had a great career! One of the things I thought about doing when I was growing up.

Thank you Abby and Adam for inspiring me with your adventures. Makes me want to come and visit the beautiful parks again.
Cool video! The part where you explain yourself, it's like you're literally speaking what's on my mind. One step at a time. We're getting there :)
You guys are doing better than I could, but then again, I'm old. : )
Kudos to you guys for getting out and being active! It’s awesome.

Needles is my favorite hiking park. Fairly easy, well marked trails with incredible views everywhere. I really don't want to share it with others😆.
Those trails are very cool
Adam that sign was a dare!!!!!
Steep, loose, bumpy,????? oh ya gotta try it! Arrrrrghhhh Arrrrrghhhh Arrrrrghhhh
I think it was! He took it! LOL
Love your videos! Have you ever come across any snakes yet! Thats what I'm scared of. Started watching your videos when you left Wellington Kansas. You were 20 miles from where I live!
We did! Will be seen in an upcoming video I’m working on.
pretty country out there.
Nice hike.... :-)

SUPER MOOI👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀❤️
I really wanna know where that road is, great veiws
and i applaud you both for getting out and moving ..as we get older it becomes harder to get up and go .. i know , as they say in OZ.. Good on you !
amazing how over millennia how the elements create almost perfect steps of rock.. simply amazing !
You mentioned your favorite thing was the side by side riding.. you could build a rack to hold one in your bed up over the cab so you can bring it along on your trips .. and by the way screw the anti hike people it’s hiking no matter what the level you are at.. enjoy where you are and who you are with 👍
I saw a custom fabbed rack on a dually, seen in my previous video going to the Moab KOA. Really loved that style.
At 13:27 How old are those stairs in the rock ? Are they recent or ancient? They look ancient
So you don’t hike 50 mile minimums, you two are still “real hikers”. Keep it up!!
Where do you get one of those books you where stamping on your trip loved all of them ? Me and the wife are going to do one starting in May.

But you are doing it! We push ourselves too. Look what you are seeing compared to 90% of the population.
Good job . There harder hike that starts in campground .
Think you need 4 wheel drive for the drive to Elephant hill?
We have driven the road to this point without 4WD. I think if you go further, you need one, yes.
Most injuries occur on the descent, Because of fatigue I suppose. Based on cruel experience. Getting hurt out there is a whole 'nother level of "Oh s**t!" for sure...
Ain’t no concrete, you’re on a hike
Abbey's audio is lacking. Audio is important. Hike and enjoy. )
Sorry you guys didn't get to go to Dinosaur National Monument quit a stretch to get to from where your at farther north west corner maybe next time.
We’ll get it in on another trip.
👍😅👍
Not sure, but I think Utah should have been called Landscape... :-) ....Or Beautiful.... :-).... Or Scenic... :-) ...Or Amazing.... :-)
