    Came across your channel yesterday and I’m glad I did. The information and description s you give out in each video helps a lot. Especially these videos that have to do with suspension. I have a 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5t and was wondering which fits better with my driving style. Quick question, I know you keep mentioning the “Touring”’model “ADS” suspension, does my Accord model have that? I have the options to either drive in Eco mode, normal mode, and Sport mode so I was wondering if that fits under the ADS description. After looking at this video, I’m leaning towards the Tein Flex Z because I still want a comfortable ride since it’s my daily.

    I have a touring 2.0T and this is my first car I've had nothing but trucks in my life but I just gotta say it's crazy expensive to change the suspension on a car compared to lifting or lowering a truck and that's just crazy to think about because there's bigger and more parts for the truck then the car so I just don't understand how these companies can charge this much when you can get a 6 or 8 inch lift for a truck costing around the same if not cheaper depending on companies it's just insane but overall I'm in love with this car I still love the trucks I have it's just a whole different experience

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depending on the dealership they’ll give you a hard time anytime you change any part for a non-OEM. However, for them to deny warranty coverage it needs to be that your change caused the need for repair. They can’t deny you warranty coverage for fixing a problem with your engine because you have coilovers, but they may deny coverage if you have suspension related issues 🤷‍♂️

      Not having direct experience with all of the coilovers offered, I wouldn't want to answer and steer you wrong. With that said, I'd go with something that doesn't have too aggressive a spring rate and has a high degree of dampening adjustability in order to dial-in your ride.

    For the d2 racing rs series why does it have a “?” After “shock” under Height ADJ?

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Coilovers are height adj by either shortening the spring, or by adj the shock body. For the D2 Racing coilovers I was unable to confirm if the height is adj by the shock body, thus the "?". Height adj via the shock body is preferred as it maintains the full spring rate of the springs. Hope this helps.

    Which one is good for going over a bump or pothole

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Neither... don't go over potholes - not only is it harsh on your suspension, but you can bend a rim and blow a tire (I've been there). In all seriousness, the best option is stock, but if you were going to go aftermarket, pick the one that was developed to work together (coilovers), one that has a relatively lower spring rate, and one that is adjustable.

    • @lorrinbarth1969
      @lorrinbarth1969 ปีที่แล้ว

      ADS means air inflated springs. In other words, little air bags in place of springs. By adjusting the air pressure you change the ride. Only the Touring model has this feature.

    • @TheLemonFactor
