    Hello, as a fellow Honda Accord owner, car enthusiast and subscriber, I really appreciate your detailed reviews and great informational videos! I have a 2017 Honda Accord Touring V6, (non-adjustable dampening) as my daily driver and currently have the Eibach Pro Kit installed along with a set of Truhart performance struts, designed especially for lowered suspensions. I also added an SPC rear camber kit to make sure my alignment would remain within factory spec. The Eibach Pro kit definitely got rid of the ugly wheel gap both front and back and looks great! The ride is just slightly stiffer than stock of course, but has a nice sporty feel. I agree with you, I would definitely recommend them for Accord owners who just want to eliminate wheel gap and are ok with the static ride height. That being said, I personally prefer the enhanced lowered look, performance and adjustability of coilovers. I look forward to upgrading to a set of Tein Flex Z coilers in the near future. Keep up the great work my friend!😀👍🏼

    I have a 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 with the D2 Racing coilovers. I did have to add the $300 module to prevent any codes. My sport mode works perfectly fine, no issues at all. I will say the coilovers do ride a little rougher than stock. I was thinking about selling my coilovers and going with springs on my stock suspension, but the adjustability you get with coilovers is just amazing. I still have plenty adjustment on my damping to go softer on the suspension. I also had to get a camber kit for the rear. I like my wheels to be flush.

      Let me know if you find that you're able to dial-in the dampening to your liking? I have heard that the D2s run rather stiff.

    Did you end up going with Eibach? I saw in a few comments down you got the Eibach rear sway bar as well? Just curious how you like it, and do you notice handling performance with your setup? I have the 2020 Accord Touring and if I go with a 20" rim, then do the .08" drop with Eibach I think it would look perfect. I am worried about shortening the life of the stock struts by adding lowering springs though.

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The video regarding the Eibach rear sway bar install will be posted this week! I think the sway bar with the 0.8" springs will be a nice combo, and not too harsh on your stock struts / shocks.

    I'm kind of bummed out right now. -_-
    I have a 2019 Accord 2.0T Touring and just received all my Eibach goodies today. I purchased the more aggressive Eibach springs and Pro-Alignment Camber Arm Kit.
    I spoke with a couple performance shops around me today, and they all told me to return my Eibach springs. They recommended that I replace the factory Adaptive Suspension system with an aftermarket performance coilover system. Both performance shops said that the lowering springs would eventually blowout my factory struts in a matter of months.

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow, so what are you going to end up doing? Has this shop seen several Accords blow their shocks due to the Eibach's? I don't necessary disagree, more aggressive springs will be a bigger difference from the stock shocks, thus the reason I would recommend going with a lower springs rate / less drop such as 1.2" or less. Let me know how things turn out.

    Great video. I have a 2020 Sport 2.0 and it would be nice if it cornered a little better. It’s a lease so I would prefer to do something not too expensive and not too invasive so I don’t want coil overs or a camber kit. Do you think if I just install springs with a mild drop of 0.8-1.2 in, Will it be fine or will the car look cambered and goofy and eat the tires prematurely?

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think if you go with the mild drop of 0.8-1.2" you should be fine. At that drop you should be able to align close to stock specs and if you can't you'll be close enough that you're not going "eat" your tires... you may get some slightly uneven wear, but it won't be drastic.

    When I see a car with reduced wheel well gap I think, Oh! Somebody has eliminated his suspension travel in order to impress his deadhead friends -- because ONLY such people think a slammed car is anything other than an insult to its manufacturer. To do this to a respectable commuter car like a Honda Accord indicates the owner is a fairly long way out of touch with reality. To those in the know, he will be an object of ridicule, regardless of whether he goes with lowered springs or coilovers.
