This has been a weird winter! I feel bad for the ski industries out there cuz they are really suffering. Lack of snow, then some snow, then super cold, and now crazy warm and rainy and all that bit of snow is melting quickly (AND not much snow in the forecast). But, join me on some winter activities from home - playing down by the creek, serenading Steve with a bon fire and a meal cooked on the fire, and getting some fresh air and exercise in the process! (always a bonus!). I've seriously been baking (and eating) too much sourdough - this time of year always gets me! haha.
In an effort to continue working on the cliff cabin when I can't be there, I decided that getting some good firewood organized would be helpful and spare me some time out there (don't really have much at the ready).
Then thoughts about the loft ladder begin!
Thanks for watching and see you in the next video!

Michy, I am always impressed with how much work you get done. But often you scare me silly. Walking even with good footing with an axe behind your head with the cutting edge turned in is risky, but doing in snow / slippery footing is just asking for a guillotine incident. Looks cool but really dangerous. You should always carry an axe at your side with the blade turned out. Love your videos and would hate to hear of an accident like that.
14:00, A great idea. Make it so and surprise Steve! 👍
I'm impressed with the Bluetti, I wonder if their R&D Dept. tested the unit with an electric snow blower?
Great Content, Thank You
Michelle. I love reading the comments in your videos. Especially when they make good sense like dallas arnold. Be careful with that axe!! Murphy is always with us to make sure shit happens. You could wind up with a two slot toaster if you aren't very careful. -Curt
Good video girly sorry I haven't seen you for a while I've been sick so glad to see you again I miss you beautiful
Thanks for the heads-up, "sliding ladder " have been racking my brain with sliding under when in up position .pulley pulling up and towards outside and either a pull spring to pull it out on it's own or a compression system on the barn door arm which would require a ledger board to attach to ,mounted under loft to the edge and float the bar width plus 2" for a stopper.
Thanks for the Guns and Glutes show! :)
Hey, that’s an amazing title for the video!!!! Maybe I should switch it! 😂. Welcome to the Guns and Glutes show! 🤩
Nice. Very nice. Here's to all the wives that dote on their men. Thank you and good job. We appreciate it.
Hi Michelle .. Always turning that brain of yours … I really enjoy your videos and way to go taking care of Steve.. You’re such a talented and sweetheart ❤
Hello Michelle, I enjoy seeing how happy your dogs are. Well done.
Michy I’m sure you hear this all the time… you have gorgeous eyes! Especially when framed by the snowy white background!✌🏻❤️🇺🇸🙏🏻🇨🇦
Great snowsuit! Nice on cooking dinner for you man. You have so much snow.
You’re one of the few folks who can ‘rock’ outfits from the second hand store! 👏 Thank you for being so damn normal and down to earth!
Your enthusiasm is relentless --- admiring from afar .
Hi Michelle, Steve and pups 🐶 🐾👋🏻 Thank you 👊🏻👍🏻 Great video full of projects, Clyde cameo , vintage snow suit, and Michyness 😊 Stay safe and take care my friends 🙏🏻 God Bless always Appreciate you!
Speechless….❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
19:20 Who's ready to chop some firewood?
😂🥰❤
Not me, but really enjoyed your masterful wood chopping abilities!
Hi, it is so great to see your romance with Steve, your love for the dogs and your excellent abilities with the timber and the mental practicalities day to day. You are an such excellent engineer and carpenter. Thank you so much from the Isle of Man.
You need to discover hot tent camping!
But yes a little covered area and a wood fired hot tub would be lovely.
guns and GLUTES!!!!!
Sweet of you to do all that for Steve. Thanks for sharing. Nice gun show by the way! You and Bear are quite a pair. Take care and stay safe!
Well okie dokie Michy you and Steve have a good time , count your blessings amen.
Thanks Michelle for another wonderful and entertaining video, and have a wonderful week and a lovely day
Mich , safety first !
Get that railing put up !
UN Steve are such an amazing couple mitchy ❤ I always appreciate your love admiration and respect for each other and your journey will last a lifetime ❤ That was awesome thank you for sharing your video I truly enjoy your channel ❤
Always awesome, you are quite the woman. ❤😊
So that's how its done UP North, looks great. Evening cook out.
Steve is such a lucky guy to come home to such a nice surprise. Nice guns and glutes it’s very apparent why you’re in such good shape. Love your energy!
The onesie is freakin awesome! Thanks for the video 🐾🌻🍺
You are a very hard worker I wonder what you can't do I am thinking you can do everything when you put your mind to it have a wonderful week
Steve is one lucky guy!!
Live in north suburb of Minneapolis. Maybe had 3 inches of snow, but it's long gone. We set new High records with 55F I believe. This is crazy. I was prepared for snow like year with two gas snowblowers, electric shovel for the deck and steps. 47" snowblower on the John Deere Garden tractor. And no damn snow and record high temps. I love your snow.
-43* here in Eastern Alaska I know the struggle.
Now I feel bad for thinking today (in Georgia) is maybe too cold for a walk.....48'F 🙄. Cheers to all to up North!!!
Love those heavy duty sleds , a standard ball coupler works well , really nice if the tow vehicle gets mired . You and hard work are no strangers . Rock On . !
I enjoy your videos. And I'm happy to say there is less snow here. What? A woman changing her mind? Who knew. Thank you for making me smile.
I haven't even finished watching this, but, I've just got to say , Steve is a lucky guy. I have nothing but the broadest smile throughout. You're a special one Michelle. Now to finish.....
Always a pleasure seeing your videos.
Basic wood shop rule. Anything built in the shop, is 4X easier than on location.
Hi again Michelle How about a ready made attic ladder and find a way to sleep on it secure?? Have you thought of building a Railing around the cabin with built in seat, They're very handy for just sitting out, and may dubb as a saw horse. I had one on the river cabin, loved it.
Steve's a lucky man! I'm from Cape Breton, 1 hour from Antigonish, until yesterday we didn't have a winter, then we got slammed with 80+ cm of snow with 80km/hr north east winds. An old fashioned nor'easter i'm sure Steve will remember! Thanks for the videos and the project updates, sounds a lot like us, as soon as we get close to finishing one project we think up 2 more! lol
You must be in Nova Scotia, Canada
What a beautiful gesture. You put a lot of work into having bbq for Steve. If however he disappears suddenly and is never found I think the Prime Suspect in the case will be the Axe Wielding Crazy Roxy. She seams to swing a mean axe. What out Steve. Make sure you are always good to your lady!!!. The consequences may be serious 😂😂😂😂. ❤❤
Currently going through one of the worst winter storms I have seen in many years here in Nova Scotia Canada.. great motivating videos.
Don't forget the smores and the "campfire stories" :)
A great looking vintage snow suit, good find!! Build the ladder at home, it will allow more productive use of your cabin time. Thank you for sharing, I hope your weather warms up so Roxy comes out of the house.
What a thoughtful gesture.
You are an incredibly beautiful and rare kind of woman.
I'm totally jealous 😂
I hope that man knows how lucky he is!
Another down to earth video, I love them. I have never experience snow but could do with some now. Here in Australia we have been having a bit of a heat wave, it is 1:30 am and the temperature is still at 26.1deg C. Try not to get sick with being cold then hot , then cold etc.
Sick comes from bacteria…not temperature 😂
Your hotness is melting the snow 🙂.
Love your channel so much. Is it wrong that my husband and I can't wait to see Clyde? 😅. We agree that there should be a Clyde "fix" each video 😊
I know - I just love him to bits. He’s right with me now, just finished his coffee!😂 He is just so stinkin’ cute!!
Love the way Clyde is supervising your work lol he’s a good boy 😊❤
Hi Michelle & Steve, love all your work. Keep it up, I need my weekly fix.
Just to rub salt in your wounds, it was 98°F here yesterday.
John from DownUnder.
Some of us would like to see you put up some safety railing outside. Of course if you do fall off, you would find your saw.
😂
It's good to see You Both enjoy an evening together outside cooking a little meal. Be Safe and stay Strong.
You're a beast. Way to toss that snowblower, I was in awe!
Hi Michelle. Another fun video. The ultimate shop build is both. A small one at the top by the house and a large one by the saw mill. "You can never have enough tools". My grandfather said that to me a few times. Walking back and forth for tools would be annoying, so put tools in both places. Should be able to use Steve's tools in the one by the house too. I like the brand used vintage snowsuit. LOL!
Great Video! I love watching your content and your energy to make them special!
God bless you Michelle for being the beautiful lady you always are. Your energy level is sky high and you seem to recover quickly. Your always attacking issues around the homes. It appears you make time for everything. That was a very nice meal to have. It did look delicious and maybe with a glass of wine. In your shed you can ice pack a small wine bottle with throw away cups to the fireplace. Do to needing electrical power, your workplace should first start and be near the home. Eventually down the road you could make another one near sawmill with Blueetti power as a good source. Looking forward to your next video. PS I loved your fashion show to us, and I admired those muscles you have. They are a wow! Hugs beautiful from Santa Barbara. 😘🤗🍷🌹💕🙏👏😎
So many things to do, and so many things to have fun with. We humans really enjoy doing things that we enjoy doing. (?) Wood has no chance with you swinging the ax. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
Well..... You did it again. Another Michymash Happy Smiley Sunday. My smile muscles got another great work out. What a great wife. Romantic barrel bonfire supper. You ROCK the vintage snow suit. I even enjoyed the Bluetti commercial. Clyde is so lucky. He gets so much lovin'. He doesn't how good he has it. All he cares about is "Nose News & Pee-Mail".
I like the new snow suit, kinda has a biker vibe.
All that hard work getting things ready cooking you are a good wife and good person I know Steve really appreciates it he's a lucky man❤❤ and once again Clyde is funny and so sweet❤😂 you can build the ladder to match the loft that might look really nice🎉 as always thank you for the video I will see you on the next one
Gotta love a woman who isn't afraid of picking up the snow shovel 💯 Much love from the coast of Maine 🤙 ❤️
Another great video with some hilarious bits 😂 Love it ❤️
Nice to see you and Steve again ❤
MICHELLE if you go online to youtube.... You can easilly plastic weld that sleigh back together... i have done many plastic repairs! Easy peasy.... search how to plastic weld..... Make a work shop next to house good idea for power etc... put in a Rotary auto lift so you can work on your car or truck and toys!!
living the dream right there, you 2 are adorable
Love the snow suit ❤
Always the best part of sunday.
Good to see a shadow of your special guest and fellow. If you pick the boards at home look at the grain of the wood, you will have the answer either way. And throw a light string to the under side. in the up position hanging lights. Down position step lights.
I'm a bit jealous of the snow. We usually get it a few times a year, but none at all this year so far, and our days are already in the low 60's F Here in NC. But that of course could change, tho not looking like it. Oh well. There's no global warming lol! Michy and Coffee. Gotta' love it!! ❤❤
❤❤❤ 😚
Yep, i can see that you are outta control👏
I love you Micgoss. Your videos are so great.
Perfect fit that snow suit😋
Nice video thanks for you fine work ..
Build two shops silly goose❤
Thanks ❤
Thanks your awesome
Great to see you, you have such a great exercise routine walking in deep snow pushing a snow blower and chopping wood. Good to see your taking good care of Steve. Thanks for sharing and entertaining
Hi Michelle, whatever you decide to build, make sure you have a couple fully insulated barn doors in the front. That way in the shoulder summer seasons you can put some rafters across with a tarp and double your space in good weather when you need the space 🙌
OH! Idea! Make a "PORTABLE" workshop in a small shed like building on a trailer that you could haul it down to the mill site when needed and then back up to the house when you need it up there. We used to ride our snowsleds out onto the trails and stop build a fire and cook nice red snapper hotdogs over the fire. Many great memories doing that.
A portable shop has definitely crossed my mind!
Love the videos and I learn from you nice to see Steve today too. Love the outfit changed as the day and work warm ya 😮😊thanks again
Snow suit is cool!!
Super form on the chopping...keep up the GREAT content!😊
Great video Michy
I always enjoy watching your videos! You’re so funny!
Steve is the luckiest guy in the world!!!
There she is I missed you so much ❤
WOW!!!! im subscribed
👍👍👍 .. nice 😊.
Workshop location .. that depends ..
My experience with my house .. the Garage and Workshop is connected directly to the 'TV / Braai' (Barbecue in your-speak) Room and the rest of the house. One doorway and you are there. My experience is that the closer one's workshop (and tools), the more it gets used.
Nice Dins .. simple .. as it should be and most welcome after a cold trip on a bobcat 😊.
Thanks for sharing .. take care ..
Yes yes Michelle pants are good. Beautiful as always
I am back & forth to my shop multiple time per day, close to the house is my vote…. Love the classic 80’s powdersuit. Collectors item for sure..
One of those canvas wall tents/yurt would be cool to have there. They're great!
Our snow is gone in our area in mich.muddy n 50° by thurs.crazy.very cozy supper.good job.
Great video. Gotta love (and sometimes not) that beautiful snow. I’m sure it makes everything a bit more challenging. Nice fire and dinner at the wood shed. Agree that a hot tub and a hot tent with a wood stove or electric heater with your Bluetti would be special after a hard day at work. Or anytime. 👍🇺🇸🚜
The perfect Canadian Forest Elf doesn't exsi......I WAS WRONG
19:15 Wow Just WOW!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You rock!
Complimenti, sempre forte e brava.
Michelle, I use to cut wood in the winter and yes, blue jeans and a T-shirt was the norm dress for that kind of work. Enjoyed you video. I can see how handy that Bluetti can be. Thanks for Sharing!
Loving this May weather in February, on VI. Too bad May is so far away. Morning all.
Burch as a wonderful smell that will make the cabin smell wonderful ❤❤❤
Love the vintage snow suit....I tend to agree if the shop is closer to the house you may use it more : ) .....
@09:41 the laugh track audio was spectacular!
No wonder you're in such damn good shape.. you never stop do physical work.. Love it and it's inspiring ... gets me off my butt to get out there and do stuff ! Can't wait to see your next ideas. Always impressed. :- )
We're lucky this year its been warm +5 and hardly any snow in the Toronto area.
You could build a ladder/bookshelf. When it’s not in use hang it on the wall with a few trinkets on it.
Chilly, chilly, chilly 😮😮😮😮
