Story 1 + 2: For the 1000th time, never lay hands on another person, not even a lanyard! Like, it costs you zero dollars to keep your hands to yourself
I wish news stations/papers would just announce this every day for a few years. This needs to be a prevalent lesson about accountability and consequences.
Story 3: I am a horse owner. Those two women should not be allowed anywhere near a horse. If you do not know immediately what your horse needs, call a vet. The vet bill for consulting the vet first is MUCH lower than the vet bill for treating what you did wrong. (Also, usually cheaper than the cost of the excavator if you REALLY screw up.)
And I would think that most appointments for horses ARE house calls to the horses' stables, rather than the vet's office (unless the horse is a miniature pony)
Absolutely! It also speaks to their ignorance that they think they need to take the horse to the vet. I always had the vet come to me except for the occasional rare case where I had the horse in the trailer and was going past the vet anyway. As I did once picking up a new horse that needed blood pulled for testing and the routine shots.
agreed, horses are not easy to treat adn any little thing can become BIG FAST... i dont own a horse but I am a writer and have researched enough to know that owning them is expencive... what i dont get though, is in this day and age, you have a question and are unsure... most of us google it, not bombard strangers.
If you can't afford to take care of your animals properly and get them to a vet when they need one, then you shouldn't own any animals. I only hope those two idiots didn't try some diy treatment and hurt that poor horse.
Yes, yes I am indeed calling you stupid. You obviously can't read. Nor do you comprehend that Target employees don't have pandas on their shirts. But for the benefit of a doubt, I'll file those examples as ignorance. Where the stupid comes in is not listening to multiple, not one, but multiple people telling you that your victim is a customer. Where the stupid comes in is automatically making rude assumptions out loud before assessing the situation. And finally, where the stupid really comes in is asking people if they think your stupid; an employee might still have to be polite to you but a customer you're harassing has every right to question your dead end gene pool.
She was worse than a bull. She just saw red and ran with/at it. OP could have been in a red elf suit, or nurses scrubs, and the skank would have still thought that she worked there. She did need to go to jail, sucks that she didn't. Or make her do community outreach at a place that works with those that suffer from PTSD, and let her see how bad it could have been.
Thanks for ending with that sweet storyteller. I’m Native American and worked retail years ago. A sweet elderly woman from my tribe would seek me out to help her. She was a kind woman and it really was no hassle to help her.
@@Kualinar Spoken like someone who hasn't ever punched anyone in the nose or the jaw. I 100% guarantee you've never punched anyone in the nose or jaw. That shit hurts and has a high potential to damage your hands.
Have insurance for my Jellybean in case anything happens In 2016 I thought I had full insurance for him. But the vet had miss-sold the insurance. I said I wanted the full one & they only sold me some kind of in-house insurance. Then Jellybean almost died & fought for 3months. A week before Christmas he was finally off all his meds. The whole treatment over the 3 months, including the 6 different meds he needed to take 3x a day, cost me way over £1000 He had a bit of a relapse the Christmas after, because he thought "let's inhale the new dry food" & luckily that vet got him better in 3 weeks & it was not expensive at all. But believe me that once the 2yrs were over, & this was no longer a pre condition, I immediately got him a proper insurance. Now I know for sure that if ever something happens to him again that I don't have to worry at all.
"Don't let people grab you" sounds like mum indirectly saying swing fists like your life depends on it because they will be charged for assaulting a minor
They seem to think employees aren't people, that's why they do it, it's only when they end up in the back of a squad car that they seem to understand, that they themselves are not people, as "people" actually understand not to lay their hands on others
I had to start warning people not to purposely jump scare me in my teens, because I will LITERALLY throw up on them, haha. PTSD --> Anxiety attack --> vomit 😜 so honestly.... if someone is dumb enough to still jump out at me.... they are gonna get what they have coming to them!!
I heard another Reddit story, forgot where, in which a PTSD vet got triggered in a pharmacy and started to pummel the Karen. Thankfully a burly friendly stranger was nearby and knew how to handle PTSD and hugged the vet, calming him with some words. Karen ended up with broken nose and jail time.
I do have a form of PTSD from my narcissistic, abusive ex-husband. I grew up around some rougher people, but you wouldn't know it by looking or talking to me. My daughter has a friend from her days in high school who is a biker, and one night we were sitting in a car park waiting for our pizza to cook when he spots us and he decided to sneak up to our car and tap me through the open window. I was facing away from the window talking to my daughter. I broke his nose before I realised who it was who had touched me. He was on his ass next to the car, blood streaming down his face and me.... 52 yr old grandma, laughing her ass off. He has never forgotten it.... but we both laugh about it now.
Same with ties. But it's when a Karen accidentally pulls off a prosthetic arm that you get the real moneyshots because, 9/10 times, the fact your freaking ARM just CAME OFF in THEIR hand/s, possibly in FRONT of a LOT of Witnesses, that they FINALLY shut up and realise "Oh, shit, I've done it now..."
I do see the safety reasons but i actually intentionally switched to a lanyard that isn’t breakaway. My old one kept breaking off, partially because of it getting caught onto things, and partially because I just like holding it and put a bit of pressure on the back of my neck. So breakaway doesn’t work for me.
I was imagining she grabbed the back of the lanyard, where it wouldn't matter if it was breakaway 💀 But your point stands, it could help with a lot of crazy encounters if they were all breakaway.
Story 4: so awesome to see people still going out of thier way to help the elderly, the wisdom and kindness they will give you back for the most simple of help is more of a reward than money in my opinion
Oof, I ALWAYS struggle with helping Elderly People. I DO want to help them, because Mum didn't raise no rude boi but, at the same time, I'm always hesitant because I DON'T want to make them feel inadequate.
That last story is so wholesome ❤️ Reminds me of that story about a distraught mother who thought OP's car was a taxi, but seeing her distress OP drove her to the hospital anyways. Apparently her daughter was in labor and there were some complications, iirc. And the story ended with the woman tracking down OP with the help of her son (or son in law? forgot) who was a police officer, ending up with a heartfelt thank you + very delicious cake.
Those two ladies in the feed store are weird. I've been around enough large farm animals throughout my life to know that with a horse, a cow, a sheep, or a pig, the vet comes to you. Their animal clinics are on the back of a pickup or inside a box van, not in a brick and mortar animal clinic.
Some are my vet dose farm animals and zoo animals they have a barn to stable livestock while they wait. My dog was put on hold for his appointment because a pig had an emergency. The vet only leaves to do the zoo animals.
Probably depend on the animal size, but generally, yes, vets go to where the livestock are. I agree. (though i have once seen someone with what looked like a miniature pig in the surgery; so cute!)
@sarah rigdon Depends on location and the individual vet. Maybe your region has too many farms for the vet to drive around. Or maybe not enough farms to justify driving around.
That last story 😭 I could see the horror of the previous ones and think there's too much ugliness in this world and then I listen to that final one and my faith in people is restored, thank you for ending this on the sweetest note and making me tear up lol. Awesome video as always Darkfluff & Stevo! 🙂
That last story was possibly the best IDWH stories I've ever heard. I enjoy the drama filled stories, but love a good wholesome story wrapping everything up.
Story 1 - If one of my kids came home and said they'd been grabbed by someone I'd be saying "right, we're pressing charges against that person for assaulting you!" not "don't let them do that, they might get arrested if you do" - OP's mum has serious issues. Gotta wonder what else OP's being blamed for in that household.
Story 1: That mother should have been more concerned another person grabbed her kid. Not admonishing their kid for getting grabbed. She was more concerned about the adult being arrested than the fact that they laid hands on her child... That's messed up.
My mom was like that. For unknown reasons, whenever I shred with her that someone had mistreated or violated me in any way, she’d always turn it around on ME, criticizing my behavior instead of being empathetic. And I’m talking all the way back to when a male teacher started being inappropriate with me when I was 14. Probably even further back if I really thought about it hard enough, that’s just the earliest instance I can immediately recollect.
@@feyfantome Victim blaming is easier than getting up off their lazy butts and going and getting something done about the inappropriate behaviour of an adult towards a young person. Or any age person receiving injustice. It's sheer laziness. With a whole bunch of cowardice tossed in. It also shows a distinct lack of critical thinking. How can any child be responsible for any adult's behaviour? Even adults cannot control other adults; that's why we have police with weapons of some sort. I'm very sad that you had a parent like that. I hope you have learnt to stand up for yourself and continue living well.
I think people are misunderstanding the mom's intentions. When saying someone can get arrested she's saying how serious of a thing it is, and that the op doesn't need to let people grab them like that because it is assault.
I also saw an incident where a Karen started jabbing an employee in the forehead hard pushing her head backwards. The employee grabbed the finger and bent it backwards laying her finger on the back of her hand. Wow the screams were so satisfying.
If I was in one of these I don’t work here situations with a Karen I’d do (at least) 3 of these in no particular order: 1 get salty (sailor level at the worst) 2 be prepared to throw hands in self defense 3 maneuver into camera range
Stay well clear of "hands throwing range" if at all possible. Get distance. The camera concept is great. If they advance, and seem more disturbed, make a bigger disturbance by calling for security or police VERY LOUDLY; OUT LOUD. Be the first ever victim who's ever done that. Of course, these things happen quite suddenly, and we're rarely prepared for this kind of weird, but don't get within "hands throwing range" if they're coming at you from the front and you're aware of them. From the side or back, get the heck away as fast as possible, and get a shopping basket or trolley between you. Safety first. If it's a verbal attack, interrupt rudely and tell them you're a customer. "I'm a customer, STEP AWAY NOW". (though I admit I liked the response "You want me to go and do WHAT WITH YOU IN THE CARPARK?" very loudly). Lol.
Love the last story! On the first story and how mom acted, when I was young my mother was often frustrated by me because I was being abused by a boy in my class. Yep. Some moms are like that.
I've never had a typical Karen Encounter, but when I was 16 (many, Many, MANY Moons ago) I was grabbed by someone in a store that thought I was shoplifting (I'd placed the item in a bag I was carrying because I was going to buy more than 2 items) and when I told him to get his mitts off me, he got belligerent and started yelling for a manager and that's when I grabbed his wrist and started squeezing as hard as I could...unfortunately for him, I've always had a freakishly strong grip and his yell for a manager quickly turned into a scream of pain as my grip was grinding the bones of his arm together... Fortunately for him, he let go of my shirt very quickly so I stopped crushing his wrist...Unfortunately for him, even though this happened in the mid '90's, the store had Security Cameras and the Manager was a friend of my father and thus knew me well so he got held until the Police arrived and then Arrested for Assaulting a Minor... 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Story 1: I went to a target with my sister and our friend a while ago to look at the Christmas decorations. The seasonal isle is pretty close to the snack isle, I was looking at the decorations while they picked out their favorite pack of diabetes. When I went over to the snack isle, S and F were talking to a nice employee like the social butterflies they are. I enter the conversation as the employee leaves, and two people walk over to us. S and F are wearing dark hoodies with leggings, I’m wearing sweatpants with a shirt of my favorite metal band (it has a big pentagram on it with the bands logo). The lady asks us if we know where something is, F and I look at each other trying not to laugh out of surprise, and I shake my head and tell the lady “uh, I don’t know. We don’t work here.” I’m laughing at the situation, but S shoots me a look and tries to actually help them…even though she also didn’t know where the object was 💀
I actually don't think it's mistaking for some Karens. I believe that they actually expect everyone to serve them like their royalty but get pissed when it doesn't work like that.
It's exactly this. They seem to think that employees are beneath them and should be treated, as you said, like royalty solely because they walked through the front doors of an establishment. I dealt with one such individual at a previous job. She went all holier than thou saying that I had to do what she ordered me to do because she was my customer. I corrected her telling her that the term we used at my then-job was guest. I added that she invited herself, that I had canceled her order and she was no longer welcome. You should have heard the sound of the tile beneath her shattering when her jaw hit the floor. She demanded to speak to the manager. They had witnessed everything and told her to leave. She said she was going to complain to corporate. The manager told her she was welcome to do that but she also pointed out that we had eight cameras in the dining room that showed everything, including her hostility towards other staff and guests. In the end, she did end up complaining but she was barred from coming into that location.
Story 1 - Your parents should never, ever, and I mean ever hold you more responsible as a child then the adult attacking you because they could face serious consequences because of your age. That's flat out abusive behavior and seriously disconcerting. It's like screaming at someone for being raped because the perp could face felony charges for the action. Seriously, WTF.
Story.3 = 15:50 - My dog got a stick lodged in his larynx, he couldn't breathe properly and was left with this choking growl, it was frightening. It was also New Years Eve, anyway I located a 24/7 vet and loaded him into the car ... it was a stressful ride not knowing if he would make it, arrived at the vet & they were great, they were already were in scrubs, x-rays were taken, i scratched his head and told him i would be back tomorrow. Walked out into reception and asked for a idea of how big the bill was going to be ... $4200, that was a chunk of change, but it was $4200 well spent :) The next day (new years day) he was all good, bit groggy, but happy to be heading home.
A past dog (RIP Shane) got pancreatitis from a bacterial infection from eating dog crap and food garbage people dumped in the dog park. We aren't a rich family and had to pay £7k to save his life, £3k after pet insurance and we paid it. People who don't treat their animals due to the cost are animal abusers. There are charities and even the vet will accept payment plans for people who can't afford treatment. We were so glad we sprung for the pet insurance and it's a cost we can't afford to not pay.
Why do these evil Karens think it is EVER okay to put their hands on people. Even if they work there and are ignoring you. You don't get to assault people. I bet she hits her family members on the regular.
Story 3: My cousin needs to understand this as her dog has been to the vets loads since she got him about 2 years ago and has managed to con her parents into paying the bills and she doesn’t even have pet insurance
I worked at Walmart once upon a time and I was coming through with a cart full of merchandise. We call them highboys. This woman wasn't looking where she was going and walked right into me and she chastised me then told me I needed to look where I was going. Then she put her hand on my back and shoved me. I pushed her back into a shelf. I told her to get her damn hands off me. She said she wanted to see a manager. I said that we could absolutely call the manager and the police because she assaulted me and I pointed at this cameras in the ceiling. She immediately humphed and walked away. “I'll be waiting for the police,” I told her. She hightailed it out of the aisle and that was the last time I saw her. I was very passive at the time and usually didn't talk back but no one touches me. I never got reprimanded and the cops never came. I guess the woman thought better and probably went home and complained to her poor sod of a husband.
Agreed, Fluff. It’s always nice to get a wholesome story here and there. I’ve actually got a small one myself. Don’t know if it qualifies as an “I don’t work here” story, but a polite older lady, a bit on the short side, asked for my help reaching a soda on the top shelf since I’m about 6’1”. Uneventful, as I got the soda, she said thank you and that was the end of it, but it was a welcome case of someone just being polite in a request for help, rather than a demand
Like my mother always said… buying a horse aren’t the costs… what comes after that… that makes it expensive 😔 she was not wrong, like many other quotes of her, we eyerolled for at the time, but now know what she meant 😌🥰 Anyway… love your posts 👍🏼👏🏼♥️
I'm starting to think I must be the only person that in an embarrassed way always ask people, "excuse me, do you work here" before I ask anything. Also, some really nice employees will try to help when it's not even their department. I always thank them for their help.
You are not the only one. On the other hand, I've been in our local grocery store and have seen a lost customer, but I know the store so well and know the names of all the employees [and the owner] that I'll often ask the lost person if they needed help finding something. If it's something that I'm unsure of or if it's something I know they don't have, but might be able to order, I find the owner or one of the employees and ask.
Proper human beings can ask that question and take a simple no. These people who fly off the handle on others for not getting the answer they want are not proper human beings.
Story #2 - usually you hear these insistence’s from Walmart or Target … all I usually hear about from Costco is those trying to get in without a memebership or trying to leave without their receipt read to verify their purchases ,…. This is the first “I don’t work here” story I heard from Costco but then again, I’m Canadian and we try to be more polite up here
1st story Karen: How dumb do you think I am? OP: Pretty f*cking dumb if you think I work here. I've had this one in my back pocket for years just waiting for this to happen. One day it will, one day.
The last story: I have been asked for directions in English in Helsinki, Finland from people I can tell by their accent are from Sweden and are here on vacation. It's always so nice to be able to switch over to my mother tongue as a Swedish-speaking Finn and surprise them by speaking fluent Swedish :D
As a Swede I am always prepared for people speaking Swedish whenever I am in Helsinki/Helsingfors but since I only know a few phrases and words in Finnish I usually start with English until I know, although I might just ask first if they speak Swedish. But I would never be surprised if they do. I was surprised in Oslo once but apparently a lot of bartenders there are Swedish. But there I can get by with Swedish anyway since the languages are so similar.
Story 1 - "How stupid do you think I am?" ... "Well, you followed a person wearing a *_clearly marked_* "Panda Express" shirt for "forever" and you *still* thought they worked for Target, so I've gotta say: *_pretty_* stupid, actually."
If a stranger seems to be neglecting and/or abusing an animal in their care, you can always wait to see what car they own, take a pic of the license plate, and then make a report with your local authorities and/or animal rescue shelter.
Horse one, I'm hoping they got the horse treated. There are some things that are an absolute emergency and you NEED to have the vet out ASAP! June 28th, I got out to the farm where I board my horses (self care) to find the oldest one drenched in sweat and in pain. I gave him a dose of pain meds, checked vitals and called the vet. Unfortunately, the vet was not available, he was out of the area and wouldn't be back for a few more hours. He gave me the number for another vet to call. Called them, it went to voicemail, saying they weren't available and to call my vet. Called a vet we used to use. She had gotten too big, so was no longer treating in the area. She was able to give me the name of another vet. Called them. They weren't available, but were able to give me the number for another vet. Called him. He wasn't available. He gave me the number for another vet. Called them. They were willing to come out, but since I wasn't a client, they couldn't come for a couple of days. Of course I declined. Called my vet back. The horse seemed to be a bit better, so I was willing to wait for him to get there. I had let him out of the stall, but was keeping an eye on him. He started to back up, then went down, rolled on his back and it looked like he was trying to run. As soon as I saw that, I knew it was too late for him. That's when the vet got there. He confirmed that he was gone. He also assured me that it wouldn't have made a difference if he had gotten there any earlier.
First story: op didnt have a choice whether or not to enter that conflict. HOWEVER, once conflict began and Karen grabs the shirt, THATS when you do something. You put your hands on me? Gonna learn today. The only language an idiot speaks is violence.
I think the mom in story 1 is saying that her kid doesn't have to allow that to happen, because what the lady did was illegal. She wasn't trying to defend the Karen's actions.
i love when karens got probation. yeah she should be in jail. but now if she as so much as gets caught jaywalking. she'll serve time. so she'll either change for the better good, walk on eggshells for a while or likely mess up and land in jail. its a win win win
My mom and I went into a costco a couple months or so ago and it was a freaking zoo. You literally couldn't walk forward without 5 people pushing their way around you at just about any given moment. We had just gone in to see if they had any better deals than Sam's Club, A similar kind of bulk shopping store owned by Walmart for those unfamiliar. Some deals were good, others were the same or higher in price. While my mom likes that you can get a price break in gas at the pumps on the other end of the parking lot, I don't think it's worth the hassle of shopping in a black friday style of experience on the regular...
Loved the last one. It was very sweet. As to the horse one, I have a pet plan on both of my cats that gets me free or reduced cost vet services throughout the year. They're inexpensive to invest in. Perhaps there's something similar for horses?
After watching so many of these stories, shopping at retail stores is not the same for me anymore. Everytime I go shopping I'm always making note of what I'm wearing and wondering if I'm gonna get confused for an employee by a Karen.
Story 3 - seriously hope someone called animal welfare and got them to go and check out that horse, those two idiots clearly have no desire to spend the money to make sure it's properly looked after. Makes you want to say "Yeah, I'll call the vet - but you'll have to give me the horse. I'll take it to my place and call the vet to make sure it's well looked after, because you sure as hell aren't looking after it."
Last story, its great to have a person be nice, and appreciate the labor, and going the extra mile!! I'm blessed with the people I know in retail, and having put time behind a counter myself,I always thank them,or if its a restaurant, give a good tip! Thank you for the positive note! There are too many Karens, and obnoxious bullies out there, and thankfully I don't encounter them!! Thank you 😇 😊!
Horses have very unique anatomy and if one is sick it is vital to get a veterinarian to examine it quickly. For example, horses CANNOT vomit. If they swallow something bad, it needs to exit the horse by going through the entire digestive system. Colic is a number one killer of horses. If you cannot afford a vet, you cannot afford a horse. They need regular care of their hooves and their teeth, too - which is more expenses you better be prepared for. Asking a random person in a feed store to take a guess at what is wrong with a given horse is akin to going to the grocery store and accosting a worker there when your child is lethargic and has a high fever so you don’t have to spend money on a doctor. It is dangerous and could end in death.
Story 3: So I Googled the cost to take a horse to a vet, and here's what Google says A regular vet visit might cost around $40 for your horse. If the visit is an emergency or requires on-call services, you might pay up to $150 for the appointment alone - not including the costs of diagnostics, testing, treatments, and follow-up. So it's not cheap
$40?! My vet’s minimum charge just to come to my property is $100. The exam, meds, etc., are extra. A typical, non-emergency check-up for my horse usually costs $300-$400.
So, by the logic employed by the horse owner, if I am standing in the OTC pharmacy aisles in the grocery store, I should make recommendations for some random stranger who asks me how to treat their personal ailment.
The last story reminds me of an incident with a nurse I used to work with. She was from Russia and went into Home Depot one day to get manure for her garden. But she couldn't remember the English word " manure" and tried to explain and describe what she was looking for to the worker but he wasn't understanding what she wanted. Finally in frustration she blurted out " cow sh*t! I'm looking for cow sh*t!". 😆
Story 2 - this is where plea-bargaining sucks. It's a disgusting practice and should be universally banned. Karen assaults someone with fucking *_PTSD_* and then plea-bargains her way out of the prison term she richly deserved and her victim is left with months of trauma and over a year of anxiety whenever going into that store. Someone needs to traumatise that Karen so she's scared to go into a Costco for a year, as well, since the arsehole judge just let her cop a plea and only gave her "a slap on the back of the hand with a wet bus ticket".
1st story: I just don't understand why people think someone works somewhere simply by the color of their shirt. I own many shirts, some of which are the color of uniform shirts of certain stores that I do go to. Do I deliberately wear them in order to create a scene? No, but if I happen to be out and about and wind up going into a store with that color uniform I don't go out of my way to cause problems either. But really, when the shirt has a BIG logo and name of another business on it, it's kind of obvious that person works elsewhere despite the color. How unobservant do you have to be? And quite frankly if someone just grabs me, they're likely to find themself eating a knuckle sandwich or experiencing some other result of my defending myself. Story 2: Karen was just lucky hubby was close enough to stop OP! But I still stand by my last statement from story 1. Story 3: I guess EKs 1 & 2 never heard of looking things up on the internet. A Google search of the horse's symptoms should give some idea of what the treatment should be. But if you really have no idea what you're doing, call a vet! Odds are the store clerk isn't going to know a great deal either, though a manager might. Otherwise, call the glue factory.
I've been thinking that maybe there should be an amendment to the law where Karens could be charged with... I don't know, "Karenism"(?) and as part of the fine or prison sentence that they obviously get, they should also be sentenced to watch like at least 12 hours of DarkFluff as part of a sort of rehab before they are let out in the wild again 😉
13:21 Usually, stories like this have the Karens thinking OP works there because they’re “stocking shelves” (putting on item on a shelf). These Karens think simply standing in front of a shelf means “employee”?
Story 1 + 2: For the 1000th time, never lay hands on another person, not even a lanyard! Like, it costs you zero dollars to keep your hands to yourself
I wish news stations/papers would just announce this every day for a few years. This needs to be a prevalent lesson about accountability and consequences.
Either we have to keep our hands to ourselves, *or we don't.*
It costs nothing to not assault someone. It can cost everything to assault someone

Don't put your hands on people if you don't want to be punched in the face. Its very simple.
If more rabid Karens were slapped down, they might begin to learn. 😡
Don't punch faces, that's a good way to break knuckles. Throats and ribs are better targets.

"If you can't afford a Vet, don't get a pet".
Damn right! My Cat had full medical, I did not.
Have insurance for my Jellybean in case anything happens
In 2016 I thought I had full insurance for him. But the vet had miss-sold the insurance. I said I wanted the full one & they only sold me some kind of in-house insurance. Then Jellybean almost died & fought for 3months.
A week before Christmas he was finally off all his meds.
The whole treatment over the 3 months, including the 6 different meds he needed to take 3x a day, cost me way over £1000
He had a bit of a relapse the Christmas after, because he thought "let's inhale the new dry food" & luckily that vet got him better in 3 weeks & it was not expensive at all.
OP did sound a little timid in the story. I have a sneaking suspicion that his mom is a Karen too.
yeah, stupid advice from op's mother, mother should pay for op to learn self defence,
and get a gun permit and a gun in the land of the free !

The worst thing is that these people think it's perfectly fine and legal to attack the employees, like they aren't people too.
Some people are entitled fucks who think their "above" those who work retail, when in reality, they're a thousand miles beneath them
That gets me everytime. Why is this only bad if it's another customer?
They also think the WHOLE WORLD is lying when literally EVERYONE is SCREAMING "THEY! DON'T! WORK!HERE!" at them!
@@flashstudiosguy To be fair to the Karens, retail employees and the structure that """supports""" them encourages sloth and lies.
@@JoshSweetvale Ok,there may be some,but that's no green light
Story 2: I’ve never understood how people think that just because you (maybe) work somewhere that they have the right to lay hands on you.
They seem to think employees aren't people, that's why they do it, it's only when they end up in the back of a squad car that they seem to understand, that they themselves are not people, as "people" actually understand not to lay their hands on others
PTSD is no joke. I almost broke a coworkers jaw when they jumpscared me from behind. That Karen was real lucky or else she would've left in a body bag
I did break my old managers nose when he snuck up on me. District manager heard from the customers and saw the video. Fired him and promoted me.
@@PanduPoluan Yep, that story was red by Fluff a few videos ago if you want to search for it!
In the second story, this is why *ALL* lanyards should be breakaway. As you never know when someone is going to try to grab the lanyard.
Saw a story recently where one airline, the male air stewards wear ties which are clip-ons. Not tied around their neck. Safety first.
I do see the safety reasons but i actually intentionally switched to a lanyard that isn’t breakaway. My old one kept breaking off, partially because of it getting caught onto things, and partially because I just like holding it and put a bit of pressure on the back of my neck. So breakaway doesn’t work for me.
I was imagining she grabbed the back of the lanyard, where it wouldn't matter if it was breakaway 💀
But your point stands, it could help with a lot of crazy encounters if they were all breakaway.
@@kinasakuraba she'd have to get behind them to do that.
Thanks for the stories DF. Those ladies need to sell their horse. If they dont care enough to get correct treatment they shouldnt have the horse
Karens are insane, they think they can treat others like trash when they themselves are the real trash.
If a raging Karen attacks you reserve the right to attack back
it is called defending yourself, not attack back.
Chocking someone, even with a lanyard or something will be counted as attempted murder by some courts (for obvious reasons).
Thank you for your completely wrong and foolish legal advice.
@@wstavis3135 Only thing wrong with his post is that he misspelled choking. Some courts actually do classify that as attempted murder.
That last story is so wholesome ❤️
Reminds me of that story about a distraught mother who thought OP's car was a taxi, but seeing her distress OP drove her to the hospital anyways.
They probably stole the animal and have no idea what to do to take care of it.
They sound like the type of people who buy a horse just so they can brag about it at some social event.
"Do you think I'm stupid?!?"
"Well, now that you mention it..."
Happy year of the rabbit! Make sure to give stevo some sunlight
darkfluff only lets him out on rainy days so he doesn't get spoiled.
Give him some good kibbles too. 😎
Story 1: That mother should have been more concerned another person grabbed her kid. Not admonishing their kid for getting grabbed. She was more concerned about the adult being arrested than the fact that they laid hands on her child... That's messed up.
I’d have killed my own mother and the lady at that point
@@feyfantome my suggestion is to look up narcissistic mothers. Something tells me that's what you have. From personal experience I'm sorry 😔
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
The last story made me cry, help like that to a sweet grandma from another country..ahhh kindness like that makes me melt inside ;).
Story 3: This is why a lot of horses wind up at the sale barn for give away prices or free.
And, tragically, on a truck bound for a Mexican slaughterhouse.
@iononcantomascrivo the funny and messed up part is that some of them become like that despite the parents trying to teach them otherwise.
"For sale: Dead horse; must pick up" -- the two Karens.
You're right about the pets.
That's why I have mine insured.

Loved the last story 😃 So very sweet. Perfect timing as I'm in the kitchen making homemade banana pudding.
Like my mother always said… buying a horse aren’t the costs… what comes after that… that makes it expensive 😔 she was not wrong, like many other quotes of her, we eyerolled for at the time, but now know what she meant 😌🥰
Anyway… love your posts 👍🏼👏🏼♥️
Ever notice how often Karens get mad about someone questioning their intelligence AFTER demonstrating an inability to read? 😏
This is the first “I don’t work here” story I heard from Costco but then again, I’m Canadian and we try to be more polite up here
If you can't afford a vet, you have no business with a horse. Those poor animals get mistreated so often.
1st story
Karen: How dumb do you think I am?
I love the wholesome story at the end! Makes it all worthwhile!!!
For once, I loved the last story! I agree, Darkfluff. It was a nice story.
Horse vets usually come to the stable to treat the horse
Love, love, love the wholesome story at the end! Also it helps to bring my blood pressure back to normal after the entitled Karen’s. Lol!
Story 2:took the words out of my mouth. My husband is always saying how wild Costco costumers are. He hates shopping there.
For that last one I half expected an entitled Karen to demand help after op helped the older lady
If a stranger seems to be neglecting and/or abusing an animal in their care, you can always wait to see what car they own, take a pic of the license plate, and then make a report with your local authorities and/or animal rescue shelter.

STORY 4
SO PROUD OF THE OP HELPING
THE OLD WOMAN AT THE SHOP.
“ARE YOU CALLING ME STUPID????? “
“Noooo. I don't have to❗“
Karen: "How dumb do you think I am?"
...
Dumber than I thought I guess.
I am so sorry for your loss. As a fellow horse owner, I know how terrible it is to loose an equine friend.
Such a happy story at the end!! ❤
Touching a minor no matter if it’s a grown woman or man can destroy their livelihoods and potentially put on a list where they can’t get out from
Well then, if they keep thier hands to themselves they will have nothing to worry about will they?
On that last story, i was totally waiting for something to go wrong. Glad nothing did : )
First story: op didnt have a choice whether or not to enter that conflict. HOWEVER, once conflict began and Karen grabs the shirt, THATS when you do something. You put your hands on me? Gonna learn today. The only language an idiot speaks is violence.
I would have called animal control for the horse. Poor thing is suffering and they refuse to take care of it.
I generally try to stay out of the big retail stores during the Christmas shopping season, unless I truly need something.
@@merlinathrawes746
Yeah. Bit this was before Thanksgiving even. Things were just that crazy. Almost worse than Walmart on a Friday evening.
Nice to end on a good note! What a wonderful story!
I think sometimes peoples brains don't hear negatives. I wonder if saying 'I'm a customer' rather than 'i don't work here' would work better?
Love that last story! I wish I spoke Spanish. I could help lots more people at work
7:40 Story 2: props to DigitalGypsyGirl for knowing to use "defuse" (a situation) rather than "diffuse".
Story 1. next time this happens. tell them to fallow you. go up front and ask one of cashers to help you get this lady off you.
Finally my day is complete!!!!
Dark Fluff, may I suggest an entire episode of feel good 'I dont work here' stories?
Story 3: So I Googled the cost to take a horse to a vet, and here's what Google says
A regular vet visit might cost around $40 for your horse.
The last one warms my heart.
Great ending to a great video!
I'm glad she got some new jewelry to wear but I feel she got off to easy
I’m not saying that PTSD isn’t real but holy crap, so many people “have it”
That last story was very touching
WE NEED MORE WHOLESOME STORIES!!!!!
See? She's wearing a red shirt.......
Glad OP wasn't an Ensign on Star Trek!🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🖖🖖
