My husband tried this when we were in china about 10 years ago, he was instantly hooked lol he still talks about those noodles till this day, it’s too bad we can’t find it where we live in the states!
There's several recipes online. You could Google "wanza mian recipe" and try a couple. All the ingredients I was seeing my local grocer actually carries.
My favorite is 碗杂面 as well. There is a very authentic 重庆小面 restaurant in Beijing, it’s located in 回龙观,the opposite side of the gas station which is by the 回龙观 icon stone.
These are the BEST looking Chongqing noodles I have ever seen on TH-cam. Were these from the same place as “The Food Ranger” went when he did his video on Chongqing noodles. Both look sooooo amazing
I just want you to know I really enjoy your food channel. You are very brave and adventurous to try all this new food. Thank you for sharing your food world because it looks delicious and exciting.
Very common university student meal in the cafeteria or in front of the campus in Chongqing, I’ve eaten it quite a lot and it’s always cheap and delicious 😋
Ever try non-spicy Chongqing Xiǎo Miàn? even here in Shanghai it's usually slightly spicy. But I'm a spice wimp so the full-on Wànzà Miàn would likely make me explode. That's not good for anyone.
Plenty of great noodles here in Singapore, although I can't compare directly since I've not had them Chongqing noodles. When you're able to find the time, come on over to Singapore to try our noodles out yeah, Amy. Cheers.
Aw well. Lucky it's not you eating it. Will never understand people that can't just appreciate something without detailing why it's not for them. No one's asking it to be your cup of tea, but it's her's clearly. Also, she's showing people different dishes from specific cities and regions and you're coming back with "I like any noodles that are in liquid" like ok go have a pot noodle then.
Hot take: this is one of those Asian noodle dishes that would be improved if they substituted for spaghetti. It won't clump, it stays firm longer and it slurps better.
even when I watched ur vid,top of my head sweated through my memories of trying WanZaMian. however this made me willing to try it again tomorrow,u got me,blondie
I’m a simple girl. When I see Amy, I click like.
love u too baby

perhaps you can try to make it yourselves? 😊
@@nyssa_22 no way. I don't think the locals cook it themselves. You need a variety of condiments to go with the noodles.

I don’t know why but noodles dishes are the perfect food when you want to eat very spicy 🥵
Cheers from San Diego California
Seeing you eating such delicious noodle, I m feeling very hungry too. Great food video!
Honestly the most impressive thing is that you can wear white and eat noodles with no stains 😂
Came to say exactly the same thing!! If it was me, I would need a brand new top every video😂😅
These were our favorite too 😍😍😍
My favourite also! Made these for my friends here in UK and they love it!

Yes! This is my new favorite. We went to the same shop on 白象路 three days in a row.
I absolutely never tried all of these noodle dishes, they look look delicate.
Just out of curiosity, how do you keep slim in China? Everytime I go back to China, eating food explodes my weight.
I just want you to know I really enjoy your food channel.

Juicy! Drooling! Jealous! Bit frustrating!

holy shit this is my favorite in london (hit up dr noodle) and i didnt know what they called it thank u!
I’m salivating so much 🤤
This may be the best sounding-looking noodle dish ever.... 🤤
That has the secret sauce added.
I like how they put the sauce at the bottom of the dish. Here in America we put it on top. But their way seems better.
this looks very similar to noodles i had in foshan really regularly cause they were my favourite. miss them so much
You should visit Tianjin some time and do some videos there❤
I LOVE THESE NOODLESSS
Love and peace ❤️ 💕 Chinese Taiwan 😘 🇨🇳
You are lucky. You have enjoyed the best cuisine of China.
Yes chongqing cuisine is one of the spiciest in China. Not many Chinese people can handle it as well.
my mouth is watering.
my mouth is salivating watching that
i like it as well
I recognize that chunky brown sauce. That's spicy chili crisp. It's the best spicy stuff ever!
Stop showing us those delicious food, you make me hungry.😂😂😂😂
You gotta try 热干面 in Wuhan when you get a chance Amy
I admire your food handling skills. I would’ve stained my white T-shirts by chili oil in no time.
Never heard chick peas called mushy peas before. Sounds delicious!
It’s not the spice going in that gets me….
Good try, love this theme.
辣!辣!辣!
Amy是个可爱的辣妹子。
Mushy peas 😂😂😂😂😂

That actually looks so freakskskdnewnd YUM

Sauce puddle 🤤
How about Nood-lette ? instead of small noodle? haha!
Yum!
The left over sauce and toppings at the bottom needs a rice omggg or more noodles!

Sichuan-Yunnan food: Best in China.

嗨,你的脚后跟有没有好一点啊?Amy
我看了很多做美食节目的,你们有没有认为人类只有一个胃是不是不够。有时候我希望自己有两个三个胃。
